Your article made me relive several memories from the past. I finished college and decided that I would visit my childhood friend, who was living in another country. Even though it was not common for women to travel, especially for those who did it alone, I managed convince my parents that they knew everything I knew about safety for women. My friend did not know that I would be coming because I wanted surprise her. I knew her address so I drove myself to the destination. I met a man while I was trying find the right street. He offered to show me how to get there. The best part is that he was so kind and polite that it was hard for me to imagine women's safety being in danger at such a company. He led me in the other direction, and only God could have predicted what he would do with me. He was a very lucky guy. We met up accidentally.
