Link’s Story

By: Four_links_are_better_than_one

Link sat down at his desk. He had to do an assignment for class, and if he didn’t do this final one the teacher would ask for a volunteer to guard his house and not let him out for a week except for school at which the kid would come and wake him up! Link couldn’t bare it when anyone woke him up. He tried and he tried, but he couldn’t think of a single thing to write about, fiction or non-fiction! He decided that he could probably find an inspiration outside somewhere, so he put down his pencil and went outside.
For what felt like hours to him he wandered around the forest. Luckily today was Friday and this wasn’t due until Monday. Link often found himself walking in circles. He even wandered into a few peoples houses he was so clueless! Eventually he just ended up sitting near the entrance to the lost woods, watching as everyone walked around on their daily duties. After an hour Saria came and sat beside him.
“Rupee for your thoughts?” she asked
“I’m trying to think of an idea for my story,” Link sighed. “Can’t think of a single thing… Not a single thing…”
“Well,” Commented Saria. “Maybe you can write about your journey for the Triforce…”
“They would all think it’s really far fetched, and Mrs. Diablo wouldn’t like it because it would make all the other kids get really interested about what’s outside of the forest and that wouldn’t be good.”
“Well, maybe you can write about your journey for the Triforce…”
“You just said that.” Saria’s mouth gaped open
“Déjà vu!” exclaimed Saria. They stayed silent for a few minutes when…
“I have it!” Link shouted as he broke the silence. He got up and ran back home and started scribbling like mad! After about half an hour the story was completed and it went like this.
Saria sat down at her desk. She had to do an assignment for class, and if she didn’t do this final one the teacher would ask for a volunteer to guard her house and not let her out for a week except for school at which the kid would come and wake her up! Saria couldn’t bare it when anyone woke her up. She tried and he tried, but he couldn’t think of a single thing to write about, fiction or non-fiction! She decided that he could probably find an inspiration outside somewhere, so she put down her pencil and went outside…
Hey, you know the rest, right?
