I need to confirm is anyone else has trouble downloading/playing this mp3 file.

I've already screened it, it's clean/ free of any cybernetic contaminants.

Also, this is the site I tried to rip it from.

Windows Media Player says it does not support the file extension.
iTunes does not even register the file if instructed to import it.

Any possible explanations would be appreciated.

The first link requires one to sign in... and I've no account there, nor do I wish to make one.

The other link is an embedded audio file... so how are you trying to rip it from there?

Other than that, aside from hundreds of audio file extentions that are popular, there are thousands that are not so well known. Add on top of that licenseing software to files and you can stop anyone from playing, or downloading, any song you want; from any source other than an authorized location.

If you can get Sephy or Ryh to answer a PM, you're best bet to work around that problem, is to talk with them. You may have better luck catching them in IM though.

What I did was view page source, find the file name, confirm that it was indeed the proper file, make it a clickable link, and right-click for menu then save link as.

But I have my file; I'm happy now.
