At the rate they're coming in, yes it is. I can spend half an hour clearing the list, and a few minutes later, a new one joins.

But, the fact that it's gone on for so long is entirely my fault. It's a long story, but I should have acted on this about a month ago. I need to update the anti-bot hack I put into the boards. I'll try to do it tomorrow.

Isn't there a recaptcha mod for phpBB 2? I know there is for 3.

Recaptcha is pretty damned effective.

I'm not sure! I don't really follow phpBB2 anymore, as I use 3 on my own site. For now, I hope that updating my little registration question will do the trick, it worked well for a long time with just a simple math question. I'm kind of surprised it wasn't broken a lot earlier to be honest.

Fuck.... There's a version 3 now? I've been out of the loop for so long that I've lost track of all the versions. I'll try to look into upgrading to the new one. Thankfully, school will break in a couple weeks, and I might be able to put this change through. Learning from previous lessons, I'll fully backup the entire website before I screw around with everything (I'm going to do this the second after I click "submit", so if there's downtime, forgive me).

But for what it's worth, I hate all spammers with every fiber of my being. I wish for the day when they shall be banished from the Earth, condemned to a life of toil and misery until they gradually expire from the ravages of scurvy, rickets, dropsy, Ebola, herpes, syphilis, penile fracture, MRSA, smallpox, and anal bleeding SIMULTANEOUSLY.

And, the best spam name would be "Jesus Q. Vishnu Moses bin Allah von Gesellschaft Pablo de la Verga."

Also, Zelda is totally that dude that saves that chick who's in trouble.
