The Vinculum

Kasuto is now 30 years old. In recognition of this fact, I encourage all of you to give me $30. Anyone? Well, it was worth a shot. At least now I can resonably complain about "kids these days."

I remember when I had to wear these rubberbands that hooked on both said of your jaw...it was a pain...could only take them off when eatting and if you opened your mouth too wide, they'd snap off.

Here's a tip. That retainer they give you when they're done? Fucking wear it.

That's something I regret not doing. Although my teeth are OK now, they're nothing compared to what they would've been.

I remember having those rubber bands, they were hideous, and the pain when you get them tightened. I remember sometimes it was so painful that even breathing made them hurt.

However, looking back now, I'd still get them done. Heck, and I'd even wear that awful retainer thing - however much it made you speech slur and that you couldn't say anything with an "s" in it without turning into Jamie Oliver.

Yeah, I had a lisp for a week, and I was in Choir and Choral Group, and Drama Club...so when rehearsing and performing, I had to take them off.

I had to wear them, like, all the time. It was gross. Now that I'm in the very final stages, I think I might supposed to be wearing them, but they took the hooks off so I'm not sure.
4 MORE DAYS. Squeee.

I just went ahead and let one of my corner teeth come in at a diagonal angle from my front teeth. Getting punched in the mouth a lot probably didn't help either.

THE BRACES ARE OFF!

My teeth are honestly beautiful. I'm relieved.

Tadaa!

Congratz on the braces coming off! I never wanted to get braces myself.
Never will. I'm a brass player and if I got braces I'd have to relearn my instrument 2 times over (once putting on and once taking off). I admire my skill more than my teeth, thankyouverymuch.

Ugh, I remember my days as one of two French horn players in my school band. Our teacher had a terrible ear for the brass section, particularly myself and my fellow horn-player.

Hmm, I've alway been excelent at tuning myself. I'm a french horn player as well and a Trumpet player. My band teacher played trombone, so he always taught us well.
