The moon is my pale sister,
I rob her of her light,
And shroud myself in shadows.
The sun is my lover,
A golden boy
Reflecting pools of blue
On a burning face.
I slink feline
Through the maze of stars
That hinder my way,
And announce my presence
In a fanfare of light.
Here I stand
Half light
Half dark
And I ask you this,
For the answer is unclear
Even unto me,
Who am I?
