As red flooded the small capital, the Hyleans fought bravely but were poorly trained, equipped, and outnumbered to make too much of a difference. As the battle waged, no one seemed to notice Batai run to the castle. He headed around to the back of the large, grey structure until he reached a large boulder. After he reached it, he began knocking on it. A few guards appeared beneath it and allowed Batai to enter. Not everyone was engaged in battle, however, and a few men in red ran toward the hole and easily dispatched the two guards. Once inside, there were several passages that led in several different directions. They all headed down different passages. The only sound heard was some quiet talking.
As the king and Batai met up, Batai was able to warn the king of the company they had picked up. In less than a minute, a small glimmer of red was visible in the pitch black passage. Batai charged, easily taking his enemy down. Permanently. He looked over his shoulder and noticed another passage met up with this one. Upon his approach, a figure drew a small sword, and, with lightening speed, drove it into the heart of the young colonel. As the body fell forward, the sword Batai held sunk directly into his opponents face. Both fell to the ground, awaiting burial.

At the market, things weren't too much different. Houses were ignited. Bodies littered the street. Bern soldiers had begun running into homes and raiding them. The commanding officer had a different idea, however. After forcing others to talk, he learned which house belonged to the top Hylean colonel. When he entered, he only saw a young woman. He drew his sword and jammed it into her. He waited a second to confirm the death when he heard a small noise from a closet. He opened it and found a young boy inside. He grabbed a different sword, preparing to dispatch the kid. As he did so, a blinding flash flew from the boys' body onto the officers'. The officer opened his mouth, but fell to the floor without time to yell.
