Zelda looked around and felt enormous pressure in her temple as she tried to recall how she got here in Ganon’s bedroom.
She’d probably attempted to fight him off and lost.
He was pacing his room, but he no longer had a human appearance. His true form had finally been revealed and memories of his dreams this past week made him remember that he was the thing in the shadows of that castle. He was the Ultimate evil, and he wanted his power back.
“Who am I?” He asked quietly and looked at Zelda.
She flinched as he lumbered toward her and got down to his knees to stare her in the face.
She tried to look away but he pulled her face toward his.
“Who am I?”
“Evil.” She answered.
“Yes. I am.” He let go of her face and began to laugh.

…Link was running as fast as possible and could think of the only place Ganon would go to hide. He saw the light on in Ganons’ room and scaled the trellis next to his window.
He could hear Ganon laughing but dare not look until he was sure Zelda was there.
“I feel like I am missing something…something that will restore my former self and then…get rid of Link and everyone else that stands in my way. Even you Zelda…especially you…” he stared right through her and then left the room.
Link clambered over the window sill and quietly crawled over to Zelda.
Zelda rushed over to him as soon as they’d made eye contact.
“Are you okay?” He asked as he looked her over.
“I’m fine…now.” She said watching him worry over her.
He grabbed her and pulled her up with him and helped her out the window, he followed as she touched the ground.
They began to run off when Zelda suddenly stopped and turned back.
“Hey what are you doing?” Link called after her and caught up.
“We have to go to the museum.”
“Why?” He asked as they ran.
“That story struck something in me I don’t know what but we have to find that triangle. I have a feeling that that has the answers we need.”
It was very late and the museum had already locked up.
“Let’s meet at sunrise at Hyrule Park. Maybe we can talk to some historians that know about the triangle.” She leaned over and placed a small kiss on his cheek then ran off leaving Link staring after her.

…Ganon broke everything in his room as his eyes glared in anger at the spot Zelda had been sitting in. He’d walked out to get some tape and came back to find her gone and it made him angry beyond any other feeling he felt.
“Ganon is that you?” his father called from the first floor.
Ganon stomped down the stairs.
His mother cowered in fear and stood behind his father.
“Who am I?” he asked as calmly as possible.
“Your our son Ganon.”
“WHO AM I!” He bellowed and was face to face with his father whom he now towered over.
His father and mother backed away in fear and shock.
“We adopted you as a baby. No one knows where you came from. The ones who did are dead now.”
They stared in awe as he transformed again. His hair a flaming-red , and thicker, his skin taking on a green tinge and getting darker. His whole presence in that house had drastically changed within moments.
“You two are nothing. You are beneath me.” His voice, now deeper and menacing, took on a tone of detachment.
“Ganon, please we love you.” His mother pleaded as tears rolled down her cheeks.
He grimaced as those words left her mouth.
“You don’t exist to me. You never did.” A spark shot out of his hand as he pointed it at them, smiling with genuine pleasure as they succumbed to the surge of power that left his body and hit them.

…Link looked at the time and rushed into the shower so he could meet up with Zelda. He saw his answering machine had one message unheard as he passed it to get dressed. And looked out the window, the sun was beginning to come up he hurried to dress and ran out the door forgetting to listen to the message.

…Zelda paced back and forth in the park watching as the sun came up. Her mind wandered to her dream last night after she had ran home. ‘The sky was blue as blue as the ocean and the sun was shining brightly on a beautiful kingdom. There was a village full of little cottages and miscellaneous stores. Behind that village stood a beautiful castle with three triangles embedded in the stone. She was now inside the castle wandering around freely. She passed guards who couldn’t see her, though they seemed to be on alert. She walked through the long halls until she came to a door that was slightly ajar. A cold breeze hit her and so she entered. It was a beautiful bedroom, with a huge terrace overlooking the Kingdom. As she approached it, the sky became dark with clouds and thunder stirred in the sky as lightning flashed and lit the now dark room. She stopped as she saw the silhouette of someone by the window.
“Hello?”
Only thunder answered.
“Excuse me. Who are you?”
“You.” It answered.
She took a step back as she recognized the voice, it mirrored her own.
“I am you.” It echoed through out the room.
Zelda walked toward the window again.
“Stop. He’s coming for me.”
Zelda froze as her own voice sent chills down her spine.
“Who is?”
Lightning flashed again it lit up the whole sky and Zelda fell down in surprise as a shadow entered the room next to her other self.
“Ganon?!” She cried out.
He looked at her then unsheathed his sword and plunged it into her other self.
She watched in horror as he pulled it back out then with the swish of his cape was gone.
“Find the Triforce. It consists of three pieces. Don’t let Ganon get them.” With that said she collapsed.
Zelda had woken up in a cold sweat, her dream increasing her need to find out what was going on.

…Link could see Zelda in the distance and ran the rest of the way.
“Hey sorry I kept you waiting.” He said.
“It’s okay. Let’s go eat something then head over to the museum.”
They walked to a twenty-four hour café close by and decided on having blueberry muffins and orange juice.
As they waited Zelda told Link about her dream.
Link listened and when she was done, sat there thinking to himself and wondering what was going on.
“Do you remember what Malon said last night, when she was telling us that story?”
“Which part?” She asked.
“The part where she said that the Princess could tell the future, maybe you have a gift like the princess did.”
Zelda nodded in agreement.
"They could be our ancestors. Maybe each of us have a role to play in this. I guess we know who Ganon is."
They picked at their blueberry muffins both deep in thought hoping to get some answers today.
Link paid for the check and they were on their way.
They entered the huge museum and were surprised to find people there aleady.
"Here we go." Link said as they headed toward the employee lounge.
Zelda looked around nervously, a little scared of what may come to be after they learn the truth.
Link grabbed her hand and gave it a little squeeze.
They looked at each other and then ahead to find malon was also there.
Malon glanced at their hands but quickly looked back up.
"Hey Malon. I'm sorry about last night it was kind of crazy."
"It's okay. Well i'll see you around." She hurried off.
Zelda watched her walk away. "Is she your...?"
Link laughed. "No she's a real good friend."
Zelda smiled but said nothing.
Something gleamed and caught her attention.
She turned to look and was shocked.
"Link!"She exclaimed and ran.
He followed and stopped.
"Wow."
There in front of them was a gleaming golden triangle in a new display room with stones lining the walls, full of inscriptions they couldn't understand.
They felt like magnets to the new display.
Zelda put her hand to the glass surrounding the treasure. She could feel a hint of something coming from it. Flashes of old memories from another lifetime ran quickly through her mind though she was unable to grab a hold of any of it.
“Miss please don’t touch the glass.”
Zelda turned quickly to find one of the employees shaking their head in disapproval.
“I’m sorry. I just…” Zelda began apologizing.
“We were all like glue to it when we discovered it.” He sauntered over awaiting some type of praise.
Link stood next to Zelda as the man went on.
“It was in a dream I had. Telling me to dig. I went and scouted out the place where I was told and out came that triangle we called it at first. Now we know better. It is the Triforce of Power. The name itself leads us to believe there are two other pieces out there somewhere.” He put his hand to the glass, and stared at his prize find.
Zelda gave Link a look of bewilderment then attempted to find the right question to ask.
Link spoke for her. “So do you know its origin?”
The guy turned slowly, his eyes beaming.
“Please join me for brunch?”
“One moment please.” Zelda said politely and pulled Link to the side. “We should talk with him. Maybe he knows something that would help us.”
Link gave him a side long glance unsure if this guy knew more than he was letting on.
“Alright, if you think he knows something.” He said reluctantly.
“We would love to join you for brunch.” Zelda answered graciously.
“My name is Agahnim.”
“I’m Link and this is Zelda.”
Agahnim paused at her name for an instant but then began to lead them to the cafeteria.
…Malon watched them walk away with the scientist. She wondered what Zelda was doing there when she left him a message to come meet her there alone. He never arrived so she snuck into the museum by herself. She’d looked around hoping to see early bird scientists when she noticed the new display, and could only stand there in awe till voices coming from behind neared.
“I finished translating those stones. For some reason it was easier than I thought since we had no record of anything on that stone happening. I don’t know whether to believe it or not.”
“Of course it is true.” Voiced one of the other scientists.
“Professor Agahnim, I value your work on this project. But you must stay optimistic. I know you’ve been having recurring dreams; some of them are too weird to mention. It has no relevance; it just means that you have been working too hard.”
He stood still and allowed the other scientists to walk off.
“The time will come soon when you realize my part in this play.” He laughed and looked directly at the Triforce. “He’s coming for you soon.”
Malon felt the chills still; she had thought he was staring at her as she hid behind the display. But was relieved that he’d only been staring at the Triforce.
“Who are you waiting for?” She asked aloud as he feel back in with the group and they started another discussion.
Soon the museum had opened and all she had done was almost get caught.
“Time to go get Link.” She’d said to herself before she caught sight of them holding hands.
After the little greeting she looked at her watch and noticed she hadn’t even opened the café yet, and ran off.
“I’ll be back.”

…Ganon stood in front what was left of his house after he’d burned it to the ground. No feelings of guilt, he had no feelings at all. It had burned down so quick no one had even took notice until the absence of the house was noticed by the neighbor.
He walked off in the direction of the museum whistling cheerfully.

…Link consumed his food very quickly as to get to the point of the brunch. While Zelda gingerly picked at her food and Agahnim cut his Salisbury steak into tiny pieces and then ate it bit by bit.
He put down his fork and stared at both of them.
They stared back expectantly.
“My colleague finished the translation of the stones you saw.” He stated as he sipped the last of his coffee. He continued, “Very interesting story. It’s tells of a Hylian Princess and her Hero. Through the years their descendants always end up meeting whenever the kingdom of Hyrule was in danger. He was always victorious this hero. But then his luck ran out. The Princess was killed in the tower after the evil they had fought for many centuries came to collect the triforce of wisdom from her, next came the hero who wanted to avenge the death of his princess but he too succumbed under this evil whose power had increased. His name was Ganondorf. ”
Link stood up in surprise. “Are you sure?”
“Yes. My colleague is quite efficient when it comes to translations. Anyway, the goddesses watched as this tyrant darkened Hyrule and so they intervened. They decided that this was not meant to be and so froze time and took all the souls in Hyrule and reincarnated them into human form erasing their memory till the day Ganondorf would again arise and with him the hero and princess to wage the war he’d started so many years ago.”
“You’re telling us we don’t look like this?” Link asked incredulously.
He nodded. “Well most of us had severe changes while those of hylian blood did not take on much of a change as others did. There were many varieties of classes. Though we are unsure of what any looked like.”
He was studying their reactions; he had regained bits and pieces of his memory enough to know they were enemies of his.
“Everyone in town has a part to play. In time we all will remember and then take sides.”
Zelda looked at him sensing he knew what side he was meant to take.
Link walked away trying to take it all in.
Zelda followed after him after thanking Agahnim for his time.
“Link what is it?”
He turned to look at her and took her hand.
“I hope we’re on the right side together.”
She looked down and smiled.
“I have a feeling we are.” She squeezed his hand.
A crash came from above and link instinctively shielded her with his body as they fell to the ground.
Fog filled the museum as the debris settled. And nothing could be seen but a dark towering shadow.
Link stood up quickly and pulled Zelda up with him.
It finally cleared to reveal Ganon, though he had aged and was at last in the final stage of transformation, he was now Ganondorf with no recollection of his new life.
“Ganon what are you doing?!”Zelda cried out from behind Link.
“Don’t refer to me as Ganon but to Ganondorf I will answer. You look different princess. Your alive.” He stared at them eyes now a gleaming red.
Zelda felt as if a lock in her mind had been opened with a key and with it some of her old memories.
She stepped in front of Link and put up her shield as Ganondorf raised his arm and let loose a spark of his dark power he had gained back.
Link was taken aback by this sudden power from her.
“I never understood how you were raised but I can take a few guesses.” She shot a glance at Agahnim. “But then who raised you Agahnim.”
Agahnim floated by her and went to stand by Ganondorf’s side.
“In time you’ll find all the answers but right now we have something that belongs to his majesty.” Agahnim answered as he unlocked the case holding the triforce.
Link and Zelda ran over to stop him from taking it when they were hit by a blast of energy and sent flying.
Link went into the wall with Zelda right beside him.
Ganondorf grabbed hold of the triforce of power and felt a surge go through him.
“Let us raise my castle now.” He floated up with Agahnim to his left as they escaped through the gaping hole in the ceiling.
Zelda watched as they disappeared and then everything went black.
