It was dark and foggy; she could only hear grunts from someone in the distance. She put out her hand as she walked forward as not to walk into a wall. As she got closer to the noise the fog was less dense. Instinctively she didn’t call out as she kept walking listening closely to her surroundings.
Finally there was a clearing. She could see that the sky was thick in fog and she was surrounded by darkness on a desolate wasteland. She wandered about, looking for any sign of someone. There was a tower, or what was left of it in shambles, dust floating as if still settling from just being demolished. She finally noticed that she was wearing gloves and a gown with the Triforce symbol on it. Her ears felt weird. She ran over to the sewage looking water and gasped at her reflection.
She touched her face and her new pointy ears. It wasn’t that drastic just some of her features were altered.
She jumps up when the grunt sounded by her ear.
She almost fell into the water when she caught sight of where the grunts had come from.
It was Link he’d also been altered in some features and he was wearing a red tunic and hat, white pants and brown boots. He was battling a huge green creature.
“Princess Zelda!” He cried out to her as his sword bounced off the monster.
She ran off confused and scared.
Suddenly she was lying in a bed with sheer curtains concealing her. She sat up quickly to find that the room only contained this bed surrounded by stairs.
“Hello?”
The door to the room suddenly opened and in came Link. He was again different in appearance but he was wearing a green tunic and brown pants.
“Link?”
He stared at her and fell to his knees.
“I was supposed to protect you.” He slammed his fists into the ground. “I’ll wake you up. And then make sure nothing evil ever touches you again.” He got up and rushed out of the room.
“Link!” She called as she ran after him.
The place changed again as he disappeared through the door.
She was on a ship, a pirate ship it looked.
The men on the ship went on with their duties as if it were a normal day for them.
She noticed Link looking out at the water.
“I’ll save you. Don’t worry.” He whispered.
His appearance differed as did hers and they were younger.
She stretched out her hand to tap him when someone shouted a familiar name.
“Tetra!”
She turned quickly and was suddenly surrounded by a blinding light. She was now in a temple and the only thing that could be seen was the triforce. They were there floating together.
“Soon you’ll remember everything and you and Link must save Hyrule once again.”
She searched for the person who was speaking but could see no one.
“Whose memories are those?” She called out.
“In a sense they are yours. They are flashes of what was and there are more to come as you slowly regain your former self. I am Rauru I protect this realm of light and Sages. You must find the other six sages and you must come together and help Link destroy Ganondorf and banish him forever. Once you do that, another golden age can begin and all will be restored to what it was.”
She stared up at the triforce.
“Where is my piece?”
“In three days, everything will revert to its former self. It will be full of monsters attacking the kingdom and Ganondorf at full strength. No one will have a recollection of this new life beyond you and Link. Ganondorf has already forgotten as he enters the last stages of transformation. You must find the sages before these three days and be together on that last night otherwise when it is up Ganondorf will go after each and every one of you. And if you’re not at full strength you will succumb. After that you will have to send Link on ardous journey to gain back his skill and the rest of his memories along with the last two triforce pieces and the master sword.”
She swallowed hard as she tried to take in this information.
“Have confidence my Lady and you will succeed.”
Then it went dark again and she could hear someone calling her name in the distance.
