“Zelda? Can you hear me? Zelda please wake up…”
Her eyes fluttered open.
Link sighed in relief as he held her head in his lap and coaxed her into staying awake.
“Link…” She mumbled trying to focus.
“I’m right here.”
She sat up with his help and held her head in her hands as the headache forming slowly faded away.
“We need to do something.” Link said as he pulled her up and steadied her.
“We have to find a way to tap into our old memories.” Zelda said as she watched the group of people around them grow.
“How are we going to do that? I’m still having a hard time believing this.”
She grabbed his hand and broke into a run as they exited the museum.
“Where are we going?” He huffed.
She let her thoughts wander trying not to focus to hard on the question so she could receive an answer.
“I have to find out what the Seven Sages are.” She thought aloud.
“The what?” Link asked as he stopped abruptly causing her to swing back into him.
“I had another dream. I saw you. You were fighting a beast and then I saw other old memories so many things that I can barely remember them clearly. Someone spoke to me, he said his name was Rauru.” She continued on and told him what she was told.
Link leaned against a wall finally realizing that this was really happening.
…Ganondorf looked about trying to think of a place to put his kingdom.
Agahnim twiddled his thumbs in angst, he had regained all his memories and his powers.
“Sire, what about in place of the library by the ocean and overlooking all of hyrule.”
Ganondorf glanced in that direction and replaced his scowl with a sneer.
“I have already chosen that spot. Stop being useless and start rounding up my servants.”
Agahnim bowed graciously and flew off.
“Hyrule will be mine again.” He snarled as the sky grew dark with storm clouds and the wind picked up.
…Malon opened the café and left her coworkers responsible for closing it. She ran most of the way to the museum. She arrived as they locked the doors leaving a sign reading “closed for repairs”. She hit the door with her fist and then held it to her chest as it throbbed in pain.
She looked up as the sky rumbled and began to darken.
“Something is stirring and I’m going to find out what.”
She ran in the direction of the library.
…Zelda stood still as she noticed the dark sky. The wind blew her hair in front of her as it picked up.
“It’s already starting. We have three days to find these sages and I’m not even sure how.”
Link stood against the wall and stared at her willing an idea to pop up.
“Let’s go to the library. There has to be something that gives us a clue.” She blurted.
She grabbed his hand again and started running toward the library.
“Here we go again.”
…Agahnim floated over to the public park anticipating a huge crowd, and among the crowd old allies. The sun was now submerged in clouds and people were beginning to leave.
“Wait!” He roared catching everyone’s attention.
They all looked up in shock.
“Is he floating?” Someone asked from the crowd.
“How can that be?” Someone else called out.
“Saria look at that man?”
A young girl with green eyes and green hair turned to look at what her friend Mido had yelled about.
“What the…?” She muttered, astonished.
She felt it in her gut that something bad was about to happen.
“Mido we have to get these people out of here.” She told him as she ran over to a large rock to stand on.
“Everybody get out of here! Don’t stand there and look at me! Leave!” She cried out as loud as her small body would allow.
They just stared.
Agahnim scanned the crowd with his eyes as he searched for Ganondorf’s army, when he came upon Saria.
“Well we are supposed to wait till everyone is revived but I might as well get rid of one sage for now.” He said quietly to himself.
He pointed at her and let loose a bright orb.
Saria caught sight of it as it was about to hit her.
“Saria!” Mido screamed.
…Ganondorf closed his eyes and imagined his castle. He lifted his hands up and started speaking the dark ancient spells of his people. The clouds finally became one and the rain began to pour down, and lightning shot out from all over the sky with thunder rumbling in the background.
…Malon threw herself against the wall as a bolt of lightning came down and nearly struck her. She looked up and caught sight of a dark figure in the sky.
“Ganon…” She said as she regained her footing and ran into the library.
…Link pulled Zelda back as lightning bolts struck down all around them. The light from the lightning revealed a shadow above the library.
“Link what is he doing?” She cried out as the rain poured down harder.
“I don’t know but it is nothing good.” He said watching in terror.
He pulled her and ran the rest of the way maneuvering around the bolts.
“We got to find something useful in here.”
…Saria stumbled backwards and slid off the rock narrowly missing the orb.
She jumped up and ran with the rest of the crowd as they panicked.
Saria grabbed Mido and ran into the trees trying to get as far as possible.
They fell forward as they heard a loud crack from behind.
A tree had fallen and blocked their way back. Then as they scrambled to their feet and made their way through to the path in front another tree fell down behind them.
“What is going on?” Mido asked as they picked up their pace and trees fell down as if leading them somewhere.
They kept up with the trees as they blocked paths and left certain ones open.
Finally they came to a clearing and a cave.
“What is this Saria?” Mido said as he wandered over to the cave.
“I don’t know but I think we have to go in there.” Saria answered as she entered the cave.
... “Evealray ouryay uetray elvessay!” Agahnim chanted over and over, faster and faster. Then he let loose an orb the size of a truck. It struck the ground and shocked everyone within a 20mile radius. The ones who were servants were encased in cocoons, while the others passed out from the shock.
“Soon an army will rise…But first I must locate the third and final piece to make the triforce of power whole…” He floated off to his next destination.
