This is the start of our story but the end of Twilight Princess. A bet is made. Enjoy

A tear fell down the Twilight Princess’ cheek.

“Link... see you later.” She said as Midna sent the tear towards the Mirror of Twilight, it’s magic causing it to crack. The Hylian Princess and The Hero of Twilight turned in shock. The Hero’s face turning into horror as the mirror transported its precious cargo back home, his eye catching her face one last time, her wonderful eyes disappearing as they too were sent back to their world. The Mirror shattered when she was gone. Tears came to Link’s eyes his friend, the one from the beginning of his crazy adventure. One of the only few who knew of his dark, furry secret. Zelda placed a hand comforting him. They were the only ones who really knew what happed these past few months. Little did they know that there were not the only two. Far above them, higher then the clouds, higher than the City in the Sky. From a sacred bowl the three Goddesses Nayru, Din and Farore watched the scene going on far below them. Farore feeling Link’s sadness. Nayru and Din smiling as the couple walked away from the stand that once housed the mirror.

“Aww ain’t that a bit sad ain’t it, Farore?” Din asked Farore kept her tongue quiet. Not wishing to start an argument.

“Hey that’s not fair. Midna didn’t wish for any more evil to be formed by that mirror! Remember the monsters formed by the shards? That poor Yeti that was transformed into an Ice monster. Remember Din?!” Nayru shouted rising from her chair.

“Well sorry. Sorry that the brat I chose to be the wielder of the Triforce of power grew up to be an evil git. But then again if I didn’t we would have had this wondrous drama for us to watch would we?” Din asked waving her hand as if it didn’t matter

“How can you say that-?” Farore started

“Relax Farore, I was joking. If I didn’t care, would I have token the Triforce of power from Ganon when I did?”

“The sages were right when they told Link that Ganon got that Triforce by some divine prank. And you’re the divine Prankster of Hyrule.” Nayru giggled.

“Is there any way the mirror can be fixed?” Farore asked out of the blue

“Why? You want your Linky to fall for Midny?” Din teased

“Yes there is... we can fix it.” Nayru said, holding Farore back from attacking Din.

“I know why don’t we have a little wager?” Din said, holding her Triforce piece that once belong to Ganon.

“What kind of wager?” Nayru asked

“Well me and Farore both know that you, Nayru, want Zelda and Link to marry and such. I want young love to overcome with Ilia and Link. And it’s pretty obvious that you want the Twil to fall for Link Farore. So a wager... who will Link fall for? Ilia? Zelda? Or Midna? Now what should we bet?”

“How about... the one who succeeds in guessing the correct answer, becomes the goddess of love as well as our original titles?” Nayru suggested

“Sounds good to me!” Farore smiled

“Right now the rules,” Nayru stated “First we are allowed to only intervene once with each couple. Second you cannot kill anyone to prevent another’s goddesses’ couple from getting together. Third do not intervene with other people so they encourage Link and whoever to love one-another.... I think that is it.”

“Fine!” Din grinned rubbing her hands together. “So it is a binding contract!”

“Yes,” Farore said offering her hand left to Din and her right to Nayru. Nayru took her hand in her left and offered her free hand to Din. Din took both hands so they were in a triangle. The contacted was sealed.

May the Best Goddess win

Link is travling home after his adventure with Midna. But peace hasn't quite returned yet...
Rise Of a New Evil

As Link starts to walk down a long grassy road on his way home to Ordon Village he was thinking on how to reunite with Midna, but realising that there is no way to see her since the mirror was destroyed. But for now he put them at the back of his mind because he wanted to see his friends again. As he gets nearer to the village there was a fence that he couldn’t climb over. Luckily there was some horse call grass growing next to it; as he blew into the horse call grass a sudden loud song played. All of a sudden the ground started to shudder as a large animal galloped towards Link. As it got closer it stated to gain some features; a long white mane beautifully brushed, strong legs and a brown worn down saddle. As the creature got nearer Link it slowed down and a beautiful horse stopped in front of him.
“Long time since I seen you after beating Ganondorf, Epona,” Link said to her. Link climbed on to the worn down saddle and took a few steps back to allow some speed before attempting to clear the fence, with a click of his tongue Epona galloped right towards the fence and with a massive jump they cleared the jump with Epona’s strong legs and continued with the journey home. They pulled up to a slowly withering tree which had a single ripe apple that fell in front of them.
“Here Epona you deserve this,” Link said as he picked the apple of the ground and walked to Epona. Link knew the look on Epona’s face that she was enjoying it. As they set off on the journey home they didn’t no wt was happening at Ordan Village.

“Hahahaha!!!” a loud evil laugh was out load which made people quiver in fear and put darkness in there hearts.
A voice cried out “Link, hero of Twilight, please save us!”
Link was slowly getting to his house and suddenly there was an explosion and a load of moblins came towards Link. A load cry from Epona came and suddenly she turned went away from Link.

“I thought I had took care of you for the last time” Link cried out in anger as he drew the Master Sword from his back and defeated the moblins using the great spin thought to him by the hero of the past. As he arrived at his house just outside Ordan Village he saw the mayor barely holding on to life.
“Mayor, what is going on here? What is happening? I thought all the evil was gone along with Ganondorf!” Link asked the Mayor as he grabbed him to stop him from collapsing on to the ground hard.

“We thought that the evil had gone since you beat Ganondorf, but an evil power has appeared,” the Mayor replied “I’ll be fine. Please go to the others!”
“No!!” Link cried as his anger overwhelmed him “I will not let this evil take away the closest thing I have to a family.” As he placed the Mayor carefully on the ground he drew his sword and shield and headed to save the village.

--

“Link it is too late, everyone here is dead,” an evil person laughed as he slowly vanished.

“It’s never too late,” Link cried as he went in for the kill, but the moment his sword got to him he had vanished.

   “Help!” someone cried out.

“Where are you,” Link cried out as he followed the voice. When Link found the person he was surprised who it was.

“Link, The evil person has killed everyone including Ilia, and he said something about the Triforce won’t be able to beat him alone,” said Rusl before collapsing into death.

“Whatever happens I’ll find a way to beat him, I promise” Link said as he went to see if Rusl was right about Ilia. As he searched her house he couldn’t find a trace of her.

“Why is it, all who I get close too must die or must be separate from me?!” Link cried out in anger.

--

Nobody knew that Ilia had survived and was at the Kakariko Village, out the way of the destruction, and was at the spring, praying for Link to come save us.

“Goddess of Wisdom, Power and Courage please guide Link safely on his path to our rescue from this evil,”

Ilia’s sweet voice rose to the heavens, The Goddess of power, Din came down to her. Shining so bright it made Ilia blink uncontrollably.

“Don’t be scared Ilia I have come to answer your pray” the gold figure said.

“Goddess Din what am I to do? I am powerless without Link guiding me,” Ilia asked the Goddess.

“The only way you can help Link is to help him find a way to beat this new evil. I have no choice but to bless you with the Triforce of power,” the Goddess answered Ilia.

“Please accept it, but wait until the time is right before meeting Link again.” Din said before holding her hand out, the piece rising out of her palm and floating towards Ilia. She touched the piece with her right hand. A bright light suddenly glowed from the Goddess and Ilia’s hand clenched in pain as the Triforce entered her hand, her heart and her soul...

“Never forget. Those who are unaware of their power will soon be ruled by it.”

So Din's plan is to make Link fall for Ilia via the link between the triforce?...

Searching For The Evil

As Link cried out in anger for his fallen friends, Farore descended towards Link. The bright light prevented Link from losing the anger that had began to swell up inside of him.
“Link. Please control your anger so you may think clearly,” Farore said trying to calm Link down, “The last thing you want at the moment is a unclear mind.”

“Farore, the evil has made me so angry I want vengeance,” Link cried angrily at Farore, “Nothing I can do to bring my friends back.”

“The power you possess alone at the moment is weak compare to this evil but I know where he was heading.” Farore told Link.

“Then let me go and defeat him!” Link shouted, but he couldn’t move due to Farore’s power holding him back, “Let me go! I want vengeance!”

“Oh dear, it seems that you have forgotten that you’re the Hero of Twilight. Chosen by me. Link control your anger!” Farore shouted snapping Link back to his senses.

Link calmed down. His anger disappearing. “Rekindle your anger when you need it. But for now listen to me. The evil is after the Mirror shield which is in five shards.” explained to Link, “Link, if you want vengeance then find the shards.”

“So where are they and how do I fix it?” Link asked.

“A person called Bazzar he will be able to fix it,” Farore replied.

“So where do I find him?” Link asked.

“I will tell you when you have all five shards,” Farore replied, “Here this is the first shard protect it well.” Farore gave Link the shard and with a bright flash departed back to the heavens. As Link followed the trail back to the woods something appeared out of nowhere.

“So you’re the Hero of Twilight?” a deep voice sounded behind Link.

“Who’s there? I warn you I have a sword and not afraid to use it!” Link shouted in a courageous voice as he turned.

“Indeed. You wouldn't be where you are now if you were afraid to use it.” the person laughed, “Look to the shadows.”

Link glanced around to see a shadowed figure stood in the shadows of the trees. A hood was covering their face.

“Who are that you?” Link asked in mystery.

“I guess I could tell you that, without killing you.” the man replied. “I am Sheik, survivor of the Sheikahs, protector of the Hyrule’s royal family, well Zelda at the least. No other royal member exists. Yet. You have already met my aunt, Impaz of the hidden village. I thank you for your help there. “Messenger of the heavens”” he laughed out.

“Why are you here? There is an evil around destroying everything.” Link said in worry.

“I have come to help you on your journey, the Goddess of Courage, Farore, told me to help you out,” Sheik replied.

“Well how am I suppose to get to the where the evil has gone,” Link asked in confusion.

“Well you know where you saved the monkeys? In the Forest Temple is where you will find the Shards and this new evil.” Sheik explained,

“Ok, I’ll go and find the mirror shield shards and can you go find out about someone called Bazaar?” Link replied as he ran off.

“Sorry Link I can’t do that.” Sheik said quietly, as he pulled out a deku nut and threw it on the ground then vanished in a flash of light. As Link got to the entrance to the forest temple, it was covered in ivy that couldn't be burnt by his lanturn nor cut away by his sword.

A sudden howl burst out of nowhere that made Link jump. Link turned around and drew his sword. A golden wolf pounded at him and took him to away from this world.

Link got up to his feet, looking for the wolf that took him here. With a howl and flash, the ghostly image of a warrior clad in armour.

“Hero of the present, the quest of defeating Ganondorf is over. But something is wrong with the world.” the Hero of the Past said.

“I found that out when I arrived home. Someone had destroyed the village,” Link said in a sloume voice. The one he used for his predecessor.

“I have more hidden skills that will help you on your journey.” the Hero of the Past explained. “I know you are worthy to receive them.”

--

“The first is a power that was given by Din.”

“Charge your emotions to your blade to set it aflame! Then swing your blade, if done right it can be deadly. Show it to me!”

The heroes swords clashed in friendship. Link tried and succeeded.

“That was a pin-point strike. You have reached your potential alone. But with friendship and love you will learn your true potential,” the Hero of the Past disappeared.

--

“I hope this works,” he said as he started his run to burn the ivy. All of a sudden a huge flame appeared and burned all the ivy to ash. “I think I struck at the right point,” Link said, “I better keep practising it.” He went into the dark hole and entered the temple.
