Author's Notes:
Haha I actually had a writers block(For the first time)for this chapter. I had to literally hit my head to get the ideas out and type them up. So I don't really think this chapter will get you hooked but its only the beginning so please do carry on reading it gets better.
Finn was with Lukas, a boy who was not from this world but he has uncommon light blue hair and dark purple eyes and has skin a bit darker than the gerudo. He wore what clothing like Finn's(a kokiri outfit)but it was purple trimmed and black base coloured. They were both looking for a quest to do on the Royal Behest board.
"What should we do? I mean everything here is, like, really, really, stupid or really, really boring. Like household chore stuff," Finn said, rolling his eyes.
"Here's one: Find and capture the man that stole...Lon Lon Milk? He's tall with black hair, with gerudo like skin and wears orange," Lukas replied.
"It's better than each and every single one here," Finn said.
"He was last seen running across Hyrule to Kakariko and is currently staying at an inn there. Seriously? Too lazy to get the guards there? Oh well," Lukas said, yawning. They took it off the board and left Hyrule City, headed for Kakariko.
"Beat hurry up we've got to go now," Richard told Beat.
"Yeah, yeah one sec...aha!Got it!" Beat exclaimed.
"Got what?"
"None of your business,"
"Okay, lets just leave the village to go to Hyrule Castle as the Princess wants us there, for the letter, remember?" Richard said putting a high tone in his voice at the end.
They checked out of the inn and went down to the steps that were the entrance/exit to Kakariko. At the bottom of the steps they bumped into a boy wearing a kokiri outfit and one wearing similar but with different colours. He also had light-blue hair. Beat looked at the kokiri boy first and then the strange looking one.
"Hey, Navi, know that boy up there?" Beat said, pointing to the Kokiri dressed boy. Navi came flying out of his pocket.
"No,"
"Hmm...okay..."
"Hey how about that weird one?" Richard said "Where do you think he's from?"
"Not here," Navi said.
They continued on until they got to Hyrule Castle. It was a slow walk because they really couldn't be bothered to walk all that way quickly.
"What could Zelda want?" Beat thought in his mind. Zelda was in the throne room. Looking distressed.
"Aw man, seriously?! You've already arrested the guy?!" Finn shouted, annoyed because he had to walk a long distance.
"Yeah sorry kid, tell you what heres a few rupees," said the inn keeper and he gave them 20 rupees.
"Dude, seriously? Twenty frickin rupees? Rip-off man," Finn said, still annoyed. Not wanting to say anything more Finn and Lukas exited Kakariko Village, to trek along the vast Hyrule Fields...again.
"They need to make a better system," Finn said.
"Yeah I know, they make a behest that they've already done a week ago, and they don't take it off is just plain wrong,"
They were close to the Castle Town and it was getting dark.
"Oh snap, run!" Lukas shouted and ran off to the drawbridge followed by Finn. They got there in time so that drawbridge didn't close but they were now alone, in a dark, Castle Town.
"Hey, lets go in here," Finn said and headed off for a random building to their right.
"Finn you can't just-!" Lukas started to say but was cut off by the sound of a door opening and closing.
"Ugh, gotta go follow him now,"
Lukas entered the same building Finn went into. There was a guard there.
"Hey what are you doing in here?" he said.
"Nothing," Finn and Lukas replied in unison.
"Ah heck, it gets lonely in here anyways. Come sit down,"
They sat down on the floor.
"Let me tell you something secret that I heard being on duty at the castle," He said in a low voice. He looked around. "I heard the King of Hyrule's last advisor Lake, no, Jake? Something like that. Anyways I heard he was actually evil and that he's ran off somewhere with some guy in a skeleton costume"
Finn's eyes widened. "When are you next on duty at the castle?"
He smiled,"Tommorrow, just get some rest and I'll wake you up to smuggle you into the castle"
"Thanks," Lukas said and went straight to sleep. As did Finn.
Lukas felt like he was being shook.
"Wake up! Wake up!" Finn said.
"Huh, what? Oh yeah the castle," Lukas replied.
"Come with me," the guard said.
"I wonder what Zelda will talk to us about," Richard said.
"Same here," Beat replied.
They entered the throne room. Zelda turned to them.
"I know you must-" Zelda was cut off to see a boy dressed in kokiri clothing and another boy who looked similiar but his features told you he wasn't from around anywhere in Hyrule. However she recognized the kokiri boy.
"Beat, Richard don't let them come near me!"
"No, no Princess! Its not like that!" Finn exclaimed.
"Then whats it like?" Beat said cracking his knuckles.
"We heard that Drake ran off with a guy in a skeleton suit and since we know about Drake and we've been in a few scrapes with him, we thought we'd check it out," Finn said, very fast and scaredly.
"A guy in a skeleton suit? Skull King is not is not some guy in a costume...relax I won't hurt you," Beat said,"In fact I think we can help eachother. What do you think Princess?"
"Alright, but I don't trust you," Zelda said pointing a finger at Finn.
"Alright, first introductions," Finn said,"I'm Finn Jackson and this is Lukas. He's not from around here,"
"I'm Beat Grimsley and this is Richard," Beat replied.
"So, now that everyone is done with introductions, I will explain what I saw," Zelda said,"I saw our former advisor Drake on the back of a skeletal horse and a skeletal man on top of it. I don't where you got a skeleton costume from, but anyways I saw them head into an open crack in the air,"
"No, not again," Lukas mumbled.
"What do you mean?" Finn asked.
Lukas sighed,"The place I was from, another world was destroyed by a rip in the air or an open crack, I saw that to save myself I had to jump in. Luckily, my family survived because they jumped in aswell but I guess that they got sent somewhere else too. I also got this weird shard in my pocket," He took it out and held it up. It was amazing, on the inside it shined different colours: white, red, green, blue, purple, light blue the whole spectrum.
"Wow," Beat said.
"I think we need that to make a crack in the air to get to where they are," Richard said.
"I don't think so, we might get sent somewhere else," Finn argued,"Was there anything else you saw?"
"I also saw that my family went one way, I went the other," Lukas explained.
"Ah, so its a matter of direction," Beat said,"Thats easy just go the way they went"
"Yeah but they could've gone any way, dumbass," Finn said.
"Guys!Stop! Lets test it out in the Castle Courtyard, no?" Zelda offerred.
They all nodded their heads in agreement and left the throne room. The courtyard was just to the left of it so they didn't go very far. Lukas stood in front of them all.
"Okay, Lukas just throw the shard," Zelda ordered
He threw it. It hit the ground and...nothing happened. He was about to pick it up when suddenly a rip appeared and opened up.
"Lets try going to the right," Beat offered. Everybody, except Zelda jumped in.
Once in, because there was no real footing they had to wave their arms about, swam to the right until they saw light.
The next thing they knew they were on a field in the middle of nowhere.
"Great where are we now?" Beat said, groaning from the pain of the bad landing he got.
"Not Hyrule and nothing down here, I think like everything is in the sky," Finn said, looking upwards.
"What?" Beat asked and looked up. Surely enough there were the bottom of buildings...in the sky.
Chapter 2: A World Unknown by Beat15
Author's Notes:
The party find themselves in the world of Aeorobis, where a war between Aeronians and Groundies is taking place. The group split up, but soon find old enemies waiting for them.
"Well, I think this isn't Hyrule." stated Richard.
"No duh!" replied Lukas.
"Guys, I think we should find some locals, maybe find out what's going on." suggested Beat.
"Why can't we just go back?" complained Finn.
"Because it's your fault for trusting Drake. Besides I know Richard will agree with me." replied Beat.
"Sorry, I want to go back too." apologized Richard rubbing his head.
"I'll go with you." stated Lukas. "I'm curious as to how those buildings are floating."
"At least you agree, and since Lukas has the crystal we are staying!" laughed Beat.
Beat and Lukas walked off, heading towards a mountain of some kind. They saw birdlike creatures flying above them, and they kept getting closer.
"I don't trust those bird-things." muttered Lukas.
"Their people, but I can't understand how they can soar like that. They're clearly not Rito." replied Beat. "And they're following us."
Richard and Finn waited where they arrived. They spoke little and avoided eye contact. Neither trusted the person with them. They sat on the ground and stared at the floating buildings above them. When they saw something dive-bombing towards them, they noticed. They both jumped out of the way as it hit the ground.
"Oww. Still gotta learn to stick the landing." whined the boy laying on his face. He had strange metal wings on his back, and wore a helmet that seemed to be undamaged regardless of the fall the wearer just had.
"Who are you?" asked Finn.
"Huh? Wha!" screamed the boy. He jumped back and drew a knife. "I'm not letting myself be captured by Groundies!"
"Groundies?" repeated Richard confusedly. He looked to Finn and was greeted with a shrug of shoulders.
"What's a Groundie?" asked Finn.
"You two are! Any who live on the ground are Groundie scum. They contaminate this world, this is Aeorobis, land of Aeronians! And I am the fourth prince, Jeremiah." announced the boy pulling his wings to hide his face.
"Well, we aren't Groundies, we're Hylians." replied Finn.
"What's a Hylian?" asked the supposed prince.
"This is gonna take awhile." sighed Richard slapping his head.
Beat and Lukas ran for cover as they were attacked from above. The people attacking them used strange weapons that fired metal at high speeds. They reloaded in no time at all, and made loud banging sounds as it was fired.
"Lukas do something! I left my gear at the castle. The only thing I have is a bag of bombchus!" shouted Beat dodging the projectiles.
"Like I know what to do! You had our gear confiscated!" hollered Lukas.
"I didn't kidnap the princess, so I'm not the cause of mistrust."
"Neither did I, Finn did that on his own!"
"Fine then just keep runn..." Beat was cutoff when he fell into a hole.
"They really should put a warning sign." sighed Lukas.
"Halt Groundie! You've nowhere to hide! We know you're holding fourth prince Jeremiah captive." commanded the head flying soldier.
"Lukas get your Vaati imitating ass in here!" screamed Beat grabbing his ally. He dragged him into the hole just in time to avoid being shot by multiple blasts.
"Hehe, welcome to the Underground. I'm Leon, head of operations. I doubt your from around here." greeted a voice behind them.
This "prince" was a real burden. Finn and Richard had a hard time keeping him from running off. He kept screaming he will not embarass his family and be captured. He was shut up by Finn smacking him across the back of his head.
"Shut up already! We aren't Groundies, we aren't from here!" screamed Finn.
"I must agree. After all, I doubt Finn would know about this world. Aeorobis is a world far more advanced then our own." laughed a voice too familiar to Finn.
"Drake!" roared Finn rushing towards the man who betrayed him and his father.
"Didn't I teach you better than that?" cackled Drake as he teleported somewhere else. "I granted you the power to do this, oh wait. I stole it back on the Majestic Beauty while you slept, unaware of my intentions!"
"Shut up damn you!" screamed Finn.
"I guess I have overstayed my welcome. Very well, but before I go. I think he should come with me." grinned Drake as he warped to were the prince was. He grabbed hold of him and vanished.
"There goes our lead about this place." sighed Richard. "Huh, Drake sure has changed."
The Underground was a network of tunnels lighted by lanterns that used no fire or oil. Leon said it used "electricity" whatever that was. He explained his people's war with the Sky People. They thought of the earthbound people as filth and sougt to destroy them.
" That's awful!" gasped Beat. "The Aeronians have to atone for their murder of innocent lives!"
"I'm glad you see it that way. And our new recruit, though scary as a pack of pissed Aeronians, seems to have an idea what to do." laughed Leon.
"I hope you're not talking so highly of me." laughed a raspy voice. The owner of the voice hobbled forward. He was hunched over and wore a brown cloak. His hair was tattered and was very grey. He wore a Skull Mask like the ones sold in the Happy Mask Shop. His eyes were a creepy blood red behind the mask.
"Hello, I'm Be,"
"Young Master, Beat Grimsley. A pleasure to finally meet you. I'm Skull." greeted the old man grasping Beats hand.
"How do you know my name?" gasped Beat.
"I'm not from this world either. My children and friends visit you often. You're responsible for the death of my children. But then again I suppose I could forgive you, seeing you have been cursed with uncontrollable rage. I too am cursed." sighed Skull. "I am consumed by uncontrollable greed. The Curse of the Antriforce, the dark-side of our golden goddesses."
"Wait, are you telling me you're the Skull King? I'll kill you here and now!" roared Beat grabbing the old man by his neck. He made the mask fall off to reveal a face Beat didn't hope to see, Jacob's.
"Guess the shows over." he sighed before releasing a blast of energy. "You'd believe my master was in this dump? What a fool." laughed the red haired teen.
Suddenly a man appeared. "Let's go Jacob!" he shouted.
"Very well Drake." sighed the boy. "This place is a dump, maybe I should bring some people here to renovate."
"Go ahead, we have what was needed." muttered Drake as he vanished.
"Oh goody!" laughed Jacob as he gathered the yellow energy of fear around him. He snapped his fingers and three redeads appeared. He then warped somewhere cackling.
"What the hell are those things?" shouted Leon as they attacked the people coming to see what was happening.
"Those things feed off of living people, run away from them." shouted Beat. "Somebody give me something I can kill these with!"
"Here take my gun!" wheezed someone who had been attacked.
"How do I use it?" asked Beat.
"Just point it at it and pull the trigger!"
"Like this?" asked Beat while pulling the trigger. He shot the redead in the head, blowing it's head off.
"That'll work." shouted Leon. He then fired at the redeads wandering around, looking for more food. He managed to decapitate one, but the other was only shot in the chest.
"Leon!" screamed a boy rushing forward. The redead that wasn't killed lunged at the man and snapped his neck.
Beat quickly fired several times at the monsters head. He killed it with the first shot, but he kept shooting until he was out of ammo. He then went over to the man who saved them.
"Can you heal him?" asked Lukas.
"No, they sucked the life out of him." growled Beat. "Jacob, holder of Fear, I am really going to kill you soon."
"You know that guy?" gasped the boy. He stood out from the rest of the people here, he had lighter hair than everyone there. He was about Beats age.
"Yeah, I've been trying to kill him for some time now." sighed Beat.
"Let me help you! If I'm with you, you won't be attacked." begged the boy.
"Sure, we need a guide." shrugged Lukas.
"Giriko, can you get me my gear?" asked the boy.
"Sure thing Zachari." nodded the man named Giriko. He returned with a pair of metal wings and a gun. Then Zachari strapped a sword across his waist.
"I'm Zachari, second prince of Aeorobis."
Finn and Richard had started arguing. They blamed the other for the loss of their prisoner. Finn rushed the guy, but Richard just stood there. They didn't notice a pile of bones starting to build up nearby. The bones formed a body of a fighter. He wore armor that was black, and bones jutted out of openings in the armor, looking like spikes. A waterfall of crimson liquid flowed out of the back, creating a cape. A skull grew and mounted a war-helmet with bones forming two horns. His face had green flames for eyes, and sinew and rotted skin clung to his face.
"My, my. You're the Finn Drake is constantly ranting about. You're not as impressive as I thought. You must hate him." wheezed the bones.
"I want to kill him! He betray-ay-ay Agghhhhhh!" screamed Finn as he looked at the skeleton.
"You're not a Bone Soldier!" gasped Richard backing up.
"No, they're my children. I'm the Skull King! And Richard, you know my handiwork." laughed the Skull King.
Richard looked at his right arm, where the scar he received due to the king's meddling. He gritted his teeth and stepped forward. "You've got no control of me anymore!"
"I know. I'm just going to take you with me!" howled the Skull King.
"Not if I can help it!" roared Beat dashing forwards. His eyes shone red and his left hand glowed. He was enraged. "Get away from them!"
"Very well, I'm done here anyway. You can be destroyed here along with this pathetic world." laughed the Skull King as he rose into the air.
"Shall I release it?" asked Drake appearing next to his ally.
"Go ahead release Drazo."
Drake grinned wickedly, and threw his hands into the air. Suddenly a giant crack appeared in the sky, and a piercing roar ripped through the air.
Suddenly the buildings began crumbling and the sky turned red. The two villains laughed as the sky seemed to start cracking like an old wall. Then chunks of the red sky fell to earth.
"Tata, Finn. I'll tell your father where to find you. Then I'll send him to hell where you'll be waiting." laughed Drake.
"Lukas use that crystal!" screamed Richard.
"Right!" cried Lukas throwing the stone to the ground opening the rift.
"They've got a Dimension Shard!" screamed Skull King.
The group jumped into the rift accompanied by Zachari.
In the rift they floated. They remembered they had gone right to get here. They all swam to the left and found the light. When they entered the light, they found themselves back in the courtyard of the castle. But it was covered in snow.
"Beat? Richard? Is that you?" called a knight walking by.
"Leo!" laughed Richard running up to his brother.
"You're both alive? Zelda will be pleased to know you're both back." laughed Leo hugging Beat and Richard. "But she said there'd only be four."
"We brought him along to save him." replied Beat.
"Very well, follow me."
Beat looked to Richard they both noticed the difference. Leo was older, his hair was longer and uncombed. But when they arrived in Zelda's throne room, they gasped at the sight they saw.
There sitting on the throne was Link and Zelda. But they were taller. Zelda was more mature looking and had longer hair. Link wore armor and a gold crown. Navi floated nearby Link.
On the right side of the room was a shrine, that had a carving saying "We'll always have you watching over us as spirits or friends. Beat and Richard"
"What the hell is this?" gasped Beat as he walked into the room. "We're gone three hours and you are thinking we're dead?"
"Beat?" gasped Link. He rose and ran to his friend. "You're alive!"
Zelda rose and ran to her friends, seeking to confirm what Link said. "You came back!" laughed Zelda, tears flowing down her face.
"Did you use a spell or something? I could've sworn I was taller than you."
"That was six years ago! You have been gone for years!" cried Zelda hugging Beat close to her.
"What?!?" gasped Richard.
Beat fell to the ground shocked into unconsciousness.
Finn and Lukas stayed back, wanting to let the two be reunited with their friends. But when Finn realized who the man was he ran forward.
"Link!" he cheered tackling his old friend.
"Finn?" gasped Link. "You're the one who went with Beat?"
"Yeah, and my friend Lukas came too."
Beat suddenly bolted upright. "Where's Ivy?"
"Beat, this is hard for me to say." sighed Link. "She waited for you to come back, never leaving that courtyard. She waited for three years, rain or snow. But she got pneumonia and died. I'm sorry."
"No. No, you're joking right? Ivy where are you? Come on out you're scaring me!" cried Beat.
"Zelda, can you take him to the courtyard? I think I should explain what happened to these three, plus the boy they brought along." requested Link.
"Right, come on Grimsley." she sighed grabbing his arm.
"Ivy? Ivy where are you? I'm sorry I missed our date! Don't be angry!" sobbed Beat.
As Zelda led Beat back to the courtyard, they bumped into a familiar face.
"Is that?" gasped Impa.
Zelda nodded. She guided Beat further along. Meeting several of the sages. Nabooru gasped when she saw Beat.
"Beat!" she cried grabbing him and hugging him tight.
"Oh hey Nabooru. Have you seen Ivy? I think she's mad because I missed our date." laughed Beat.
"He's gone crazy." sighed Zelda."Only the goddesses can help him."
Finn stood shocked. He couldn't believe that Hyrule had been overrun. He now looked out to see Castle Town falling apart. Beyond the gates of the town stood a castle of bones. Flames floating above each tower. The Skull King had established his castle next to Hyrule Castle. He let it stand to mock those who remained.
"So the Sage's Army?" asked Richard.
"Very few survived. I fought until I was dragged back by the sages. Ganondorf helped fight but was captured. I doubt they kept him alive." sighed Link.
"Our world is ruined!" screamed Finn.
Beat gasped when he saw the statue of his love. He broke down and started weeping. The statue held her blades on her arms and showed the kindness she had in her face. Engraved on the tomb said "Eternally waiting for the return of her love, Ivy Elson, fianc of Beat Grimsley, Gerudo Prince."
"I am sorry for your loss." apologized Zelda.
"My sweet Ivy, what have I done?" sobbed Beat.
He had to be dragged away from the grave. Zelda had explained the events that occurred since he went into the rift. He was brought to the room Zelda had made his. He sat on his bed contemplating the events that happened. When he knew what must be done, he gritted his teeth.
Finn sat with Lukas in the room they were given. They were wondering about the mayhem that occurred when they left in the rift. Suddenly the door flew off it's hinges and shattered against the wall.
"Oh boys!" laughed Beat insanely. "I've got a little surprise for you!"
End Notes:
My first contribution to our collaberation. Beat little insane breakdown will be fun to use.
Chapter 3: Beat's Breakdown by Beat15
Author's Notes:
Hey peoples! Beat15 posting this chapter too. I may have focused more on Beat on this one. My bad. But hey, it gives some foreshadowing for the Beat Grimsley Saga.
Link jumped when he heard the sound of splintering wood. He grabbed his sword and shield from the wall and rushed to see the cause of the sound. He gasped when he saw Beat clutching Finn and Lukas by their necks.
"Put them down Grimsley!" shouted Link.
"Why in the world would I do that? I lost everyone! My friends, my race, my true love! All because these two had to play detective!" roared Beat.
"Put them down Grimsley." ordered Nabooru walking in the room.
"Nabooru, please. I need to go and stop the bones." laughed Beat tightening his grip.
"Help us," gasped Lukas.
"Beat Grimsley, unhand them!" roared Zelda.
Beat dropped the two boys and proceeded to kick Finn.
"Don't harm them." she added.
"Fine." muttered Beat.
"You won't get anyone back by killing them." lectured Link.
"Sorry, your highn-ass!" snorted Beat. "They were you're friends too. Why are you so calm?"
"I reacted like you during our final fight. I decided to kill anything that I could see bones on. I laid waste to the army, but was dragged away in the midst of battle by the sages. They needed one Sage Warrior alive." explained Link.
"Well then you won't mind me dying. Cause I intend on making that eyesore collapse. I'll use my rapier and staff."
"You're not leaving like this." replied Link.
"I never liked you!" screamed Beat. "You just let Navi leave you. You let people suffer. You didn't help with the Archer or Richard incidents. You lay back in the ranks until a big fight to occur before trying to take charge. You had no right to lead them!"
Link stood stock still, absorbing the cruel words spoken to him. He stared at Beat, his mouth agape.
Zelda ran forward and smacked Beat. "Silence you! You can't speak to him that way."
"Piss off Princess." muttered Beat storming off towards his room.
"Are you alright Link?" asked Zelda concertedly.
"Fine, just a little unsettled." sighed Link. "How are those two?"
"Still alive!" wheezed Finn.
"Why did we come here? Why did I come here?" mumbled Lukas. "Maybe he was right."
Beat stormed into his room and began breaking everything. He kicked his desk across the room watching it explode in wood chips. He tipped his bookshelf over. He tore curtains off the hangers, and tossed them on the floor. He laughed as he smashed the cabinet holding all his dishes. He then ran to his wardrobe and changed into his Sheikah clothes. He ripped his tunic off pulling on the tough black fabric onto him. He recalled his first time wearing it, during the Blazing Fist Fighting Cup. He finished putting on the clothes when he noticed his violin on his bed. He walked up to it and smiled.
Finn walked down to Beat's room to check on him. When he reached the door he heard a shout.
"I fucking hate this violin!" followed by the smashing sound of a stringed instrument.
Finn opened the door slightly and saw the fierce look in Grimsley's eyes. He looked like a warrior, headed for his last battle. He wore a rapier at his side and a red staff across his back. He wrapped a black scarf around his neck, and grabbed a bottle. He opened it and took a long swig.
"I hope I get what this drink is named after." muttered Beat walking to the window. He jumped out the window and was followed by a loud splash.
"No!" screamed Finn rushing inside. He looked out the window to see Beat swimming across the moat. "That ass."
Link was startled by what Finn described as Beat. He always treasured that violin, why destroy it now?
"He destroyed it because it mocked him." sighed Zelda. "I think the sages should bring him back."
"I'll go tell them!" volunteered Navi.
"What about Beat?" asked Richard.
"He has gone looking for revenge. And he has the power to topple that castle on his own. He doesn't even need a weapon to destroy that castle." sighed Link.
"How so?" asked Lukas.
"He can break a Hylian shield with one punch, one playful punch." replied Link.
"Woah!" gasped Finn.
"And he could crush that castle using his voice, seeing as he destroyed his violin." added Zelda.
"His voice?" asked Lukas.
"The Elegy of Ending." whispered Richard.
Beat walked up to the castle gates. He leapt onto a building's roof and then jumped to the wall.
He got a running start and jumped off towards the castle of bones.
"I'm going to destroy everything there." he laughed. He had his most powerful weapons, his Spirit Rapier and Staff of Din. He remembered how he obtained these weapons. The Spirit Rapier, given when he awoken as Sage Warrior of Spirit. He smiled, at least the Sages were alive. Then he recalled the miraculous experience of gaining the red staff. He had been with Link, and they were trapped in a shrine to the goddess. They were being buried alive but were suddenly surrounded by warmth, and found themselves standing before Din. She apologized for the trouble caused by her. He had comforted her by saying he was always like that. She laughed and taught them two songs. The Elegy of Ending, which could destroy an army, but with the price of those aiding in a fight. The second song could bring the spirits wandering the area nearby to life again. It was the Requiem of Reincarnation, but it could only bring back those who wanted to come back. When she let Link go she stopped Beat. She gave him a staff that would show her blessing. It contained the magical qualities of fire. She taught him every spell that he could learn. He could only master the spells she created. But he mastered the fire magic easily.
He snapped back to reality. He smiled as he felt his hidden weapon in his boot.
"Payback time, bitches." he growled.
Finn was trying to find Beat. He and Lukas split up and searched the town. They were shocked at how much the town had changed. No more children playing in the fountain, or merchants selling their goods. People scrounged the rubble of buildings, looking for anything that may help them. Finn readjusted Lightbringer, making sure no one had taken it.
Lukas walked through an alley where he saw a woman being chased by a man twice her size. Lukas mustered his strength and attacked the older man.
"Leave her alone!" he shouted toppling the man over.
"I will kill you, brat! Then I'll get to the lady." growled the man drawing a knife.
"Run!" shouted Lukas to the woman.
"Thank you!" shouted the girl as she ran off.
Lukas had the man pinned, but couldn't keep the knife away from him. Then he recalled the Aeronian weapon he had. He pulled out the gun and placed it to the man's head.
"This can splatter your brains across the pavement. I suggest you toss that knife aside and forget about the girl." hissed Lukas pressing it closer to the man face.
The man grew scared, sweat pouring down his face. He began to cry and begged for his life.
"Leave your knife. Then get out of my sight." ordered Lukas. He watched the man drop the blade and run like hell. "Is this what has happened because of Drake's tampering?"
Beat found himself on the ramparts of the castle of bones. He crept silently in the shadows, avoiding the guards. Whenever he encountered a guard he would grab the skull and crush it against the wall. He searched every body, looking for items that could help his mission of vengeance. When he found a ring of keys he grinned.
"I guess I can go inside now. But maybe I should take care of the guards outside right now. Oh I've got an idea!" he laughed cruelly.
Finn ran through the ruins of the Temple of Time, searching for anything. He looked up at Death Mountain and saw several fiery snakes circling it.
"I can't believe they released dragons." muttered Finn. He drew his sword and swung it, releasing a large blast of energy that hit the Gossip Stones nearby.
"Ow!"
"Watch it ass!"
"What's the big idea?"
"Jerk."
Finn ignored the shouts of the stones, and focused his senses. He smelled smoke. He turned and saw a blazing inferno where the Bone Castle stood.
"That's where he is!" shouted Finn running towards Hyrule Castle.
Link saw the flames from his study in the castle.
"Damn you Grimsley! Why are doing this?" he shouted running out to the gates.
"He wishes to die." stated a voice in his head.
"So, you've come back to torment me?" sighed Link as his shadow took a body of it's own.
"I thought you needed a little encouragement. Besides, I missed your stupidity." laughed the woman standing before him. She had blueish grey skin and orange hair. She smiled devilishly at him.
"Midna, not now I have to bring him back." growled Link shoving past her.
"I could send you there, would that interest you?" she offered.
"Better yet, bring him here please." replied Link.
"I'll try." nodded Midna. She concentrated her energy into finding Grimsley.
"Just go there and grab him!" shouted Link.
"Fine, I liked you better when I could ride on your back." muttered the woman vanishing.
"Why is the Twili Princess helping me now?" sighed Link.
Richard shook his head when he saw the fire. "That idiot. He's gonna get himself killed."
Beat laughed as he set the grounds within the castle of bones ablaze. He drew his rapier and slashed any moving object there. He cut down stalfos, stalchildren, stalhounds, and Bone Soldiers. He had gone mad. He made sure nothing outside the building was left alive. When he determined nothing else was outside he ran inside. He smiled when he saw Edmund standing in front of the entrance.
"So Grimsley, finally decided to show your face?" laughed the blue-haired man.
"You know Edmund, I was praying I'd see you first. I've wanted to do this since I found out who you were." laughed Beat reaching in his boot. He pulled out the gun given to him. He pointed it at Edmund's head and simply said one word, "Bang."
Edmund fell to the ground a hole in his forehead. Blood splattered the doors he stood before. Beat remained emotionless as he walked past his old enemy.
"That's enough young Grimsley." ordered a woman walking from the shadows.
Beat turned and pointed the weapon at her. "Who're you?" he growled.
"I'm the Twili Princess, Midna. Link sent me here for you." she replied.
"Thanks, but no thanks. I'm going to burn this place to the ground." muttered Beat pushing her aside.
"Sorry, but no." laughed Midna snapping her fingers.
Beat found himself being pulled upwards. He fought to get out of it, but the force was too strong. He only had one option left.
"Din's Tempest!" he roared. He watched the inside of the castle glow, as he vanished.
Skull King sat in his throne. He laughed when he watched his enemy rampage through the castle. Drake strolled up to his partner, and laughed at the misfortune of Edmund.
"So, Grimsley has a gun, looks like we'll have to get our toys from Aeorobis ready." laughed Drake.
"Yes, but I think your friend Finn needs some pushing. Grimsley has snapped. There's no way he can go back." cackled Skull King.
"What a shame Edmund had his brains blown out." yawned Jacob.
"He was expendable. Besides, we have the true essence of evil, Lord Drazo." laughed Drake.
"It doesn't matter. And we can ignore the castle. It isn't our command of operations." sighed Jacob.
Skull King rose, and waved his hand across the viewing glass, revealing a web of pictures. He stabbed a bone into Aeorobis's picture. He grinned evilly and pointed to a world where the roadways were covered in giant metallic people.
"Our next target is Cybritill, a world far more advanced than Aeorobis. We know what we need." he wheezed.
"Yes my lord." nodded Jacob.
"Yeah, sure whatever." muttered Drake. He walked away vanishing in darkness.
"So arrogant. Drake, you are a great asset, but you are too much of a threat." muttered Skull King.
Beat was carried into a holding cell and chained to the wall. He struggled and fought the guards pulling him. He bit and scratched at his captors.
"Unbind me! Release me! Let me get my revenge!" roared Beat.
"Trust me, you did." replied Link, strolling outside the bars.
"You need to relax, Beat. Let it go." laughed a voice Beat thought was dead.
"Will?" he gasped.
"Long time no see buddy." laughed the rugged looking blonde. "We missed ya at that battle we lost."
"We?"
"Well you certainly blew up." laughed a young Kokiri.
"Archer?" gasped Beat again.
"You can thank that Finn kid for our return." sighed Romero, walking in.
"You're all back." cried Beat. "I thought you were all killed.
"We were." muttered Tael, rubbing his head.
"I'm still surprised by how you and your sister got that big." sighed Beat.
"Don't make him explain again." begged Tatl.
"How are you all back?" asked the puzzled captive.
"Finn brought us back. He fixed the violin I gave you. Yeah I saw you break it." growled Romero.
"Sorry. I let my curse control me. I just, hated knowing you've all been killed because of my absence." apologized Beat.
"Hey, you saved our bodies. We were all made into Bone Soldiers." replied Will. "Personally, I preferred my first time better."
"Wait, does that mean she's back?" asked Beat, hope filling his eyes.
"Maybe." laughed Link.
Finn, stood in the charred remains of the bone fortress. He took the bow away from the violin, watching it fall apart.
"I hope it worked." he muttered.
"Not bad buddy." laughed Lukas. He was accompanied by a woman that stood by his side.
"Who's your friend?" asked Finn.
"I'm Gwen, your friend here saved me from a fate best left unmentioned." introduced the black haired girl.
"I'm Finn." replied Finn.
"I know. Your friend told me about your little adventure. I know that song you played, it's called the Requiem of Reincarnation." explained Gwen.
"That's what the lady in red told me." muttered Finn.
"Who'd you learn it from?" asked Lukas.
"My friend. You got assaulted by him. Beat Grimsley." laughed Gwen.
Finn sighed, and then said "I should have known."
Beat rushed throughout the castle, all traces of his sanity loss forgotten. He rounded a corner, loss his traction and fell on his face. He stood up, and wiped the blood that came from a cut on his forehead. Then he ran to the castle courtyard. And stopped dead in his tracks in front of the statue of Ivy. She stood there, a smile lighting up her features. Beat ran forward to embrace his dearly beloved, but went right through her. He turned and saw she wore a frown now.
"I'm sorry Beat, but I can't return to you." she sighed.
"No, don't say that!" begged Beat dropping to his knees.
"I will stay here. I can't do it. You're a child, and it's wrong."
"Bullshit! Remember the story Link told us? About Anju and Kafei, and how they married even though of he curse on him." shouted Beat.
"It's not that, it's that I died to see you again, and now that I have I can rest in peace." sniffed Ivy. "I want you to know, I always loved you. From the moment you scared me at the Blazing Fist tournament."
"Ivy, don't leave me." cried Beat.
"I have to. I love you."
"No! No, no, no! I won't let you leave!" cried Beat. He inhaled and then began to sing "Hear me death, return their breath, and let me embrace my friend. This isn't the end, come back to me. We have more to do and see." but nothing happened. He sang three times afterwards but nothing happened. "No, Ivy. I need you." he cried. He sat on his hands and knees in front of his loves tomb, and weeped.
Finn walked back to the castle and found Beat sitting on the steps to the main hall. He was shaking, and had tears coursing down his face. When Finn stepped at the foot of the steps, Beat started to clean himself up.
"Oh, huh, hey Finn." sniffed Beat, wiping his eye. "I have to apologize, I didn't mean what I said to you and Lukas. You brought them all back." cried Beat hugging Finn close to him. "Thank you, so much."
"It's nothing." laughed Finn.
"No, it's everything. Those people in the main hall, they are what keep me sane. My friends, I care for them all. I die inside, when my friends are hurt. You brought me back from a state of mind I never want to experience again. You saved them and me." sobbed Beat into Finn's tunic.
"Oh, and I guess me keeping Gwen from harm is unnoticed." muttered Lukas walking up with Gwen beside him.
"Gwen? You survived?" gasped Beat.
"Well yeah, I stayed back with Ivy, until the fitting started I waited here to honor her memory. Then the town was overrun and I decided to try and help the few people who survived out. And besides, now Hyrule is free thanks to you guys." laughed Gwen.
Beat stopped crying and straightened up. He reached into his tunic and found the bottle he had always carried with him. He smiled, and looked inside, the fairy inside glowed a healthy blue. It was a gift for Ivy, the fairy didn't mind staying with Beat, for he was known by the fairies to be kind and caring. He had caught it when he and Richard were leaving Kakiriko and encountered their new friends. He released it, and circled around him.
"I guess I've got to move on." sighed Beat. "Tomorrow I'm going to go back in that rift."
"What?" gasped Finn.
"I think that if we went back we could find new worlds. And besides, I doubt I got Drake and Skull King. The only main guy I killed was Edmund, who was one of Skull Kings top fighters, the Seven Sins." explained Beat. "Besides, we might go back to our own time."
"I'll talk to Richard and Lukas about it. You need to recover first though. I think a day here will give you time to recuperate. I'll help start with the rebuilding of the town. And then the races will return to their homes and rebuild their races civilizations." replied Finn. "But for tonight, let's enjoy a safe Hyrule."
"Yeah, I think I do need a break anyway." yawned Beat before falling down the stairs. He didn't feel anything though, he was far too exhausted.
Richard walked up to find Beat lying on the floor. "He just can't learn any control, can he?" muttered Richard picking up his friend. He carried him to the newly repaired room, where a fully repaired violin waited for him on the desk.
"Thanks Richard. You always know how to help me." muttered Beat in his sleep.
"Sleep tight buddy. You need to rest."
End Notes:
Beat brokedown, and now he's passed out. I'd say he'll be out for an entire day.
Chapter 4: Rebuild by Beat15
Author's Notes:
Hyrule is rebuilding itself now that the people have been revived. Finn and Lukas decide to help the people in a special way.
The now revived citizens of Hyrule came together to repair the castle town. Beat was made to rest and recover from his little breakdown. Finn had decided to help repair the town with everyone else. Link had left to play the Requiem of Reincarnation across Hyrule, bringing back those who were transformed somehow. Richard stayed to watch over Beat, and Lukas wandered town helping wherever it was needed. Things were set on a track to recovery.
Jacob yawned as he watched the screen reveal Beat. He viewed the action that brought Grinsley back from the brink.
"My king will not be happy." sighed Jacob, turning to vanish in smoke.
As he left a man crept inside. He was clearly q great warrior, for he carried a great bow. He thought it would never compare to his main bow, but it was in a good place. With his son, Finn.
"Alright what do you have planned Drake?"
Finn walked through town carrying timbers to a building under reconstruction. He set the boards down and wiped the sweat from his brow. "I didn't think it'd be this hard." he sighed.
"I know someone who can help." whispered a voice in his ear.
Finn quickly punched the source of the voice, unknowingly hitting his friend Lukas.
"Ah, you ass! That hurt." shouted Lukas.
"You shouldn't have snuck up on me." replied Finn casually.
Beat slept peacefully over the night. Richard sat close by, waiting for his friend to recover. Richard had traveled with Beat for some time, but he never saw him act like this.
"Something's up, and I'm going to find out." whispered Richard.
Lukas helped carry boards with Finn to help rebuild the town. Many of the newly revived guards worked on the outer city wall, and gate.
Finn grew restless wanting to do something else besides build. He just couldn't figure out what.
Beat woke up, and tried to leave his bed. He was pushed back into bed by Richard. He felt exhausted, but he needed something to eat.
"Can't I at least walk around the room?"
"Nope, Finn said you need rest. So stay here." ordered Richard.
"But I'm starving!" moaned Beat.
"I'll get you some fruit." muttered Richard.
Lukas stared at Death Mountain, and shuddered. He stared at the dragons circling the mountain top. "I wish I could help." he sighed.
"We can, remember how quickly we could to Kakariko? We only need to climb the mountain." laughed Finn. "Let's ditch this work."
"I don't know." said Lukas nervously.
"Go ahead. You've done enough." assured a Kokiri boy.
"Thanks, Archer was it?" laughed Finn.
"Yeah, that's me. Go do what you need to do." ordered the boy.
"Thanks. Let's go Finn." urged Lukas.
"Geez, this town is trashed!" gasped Finn as he entered the ruins of Kakariko.
"Yikes." muttered Lukas. "This is gruesome."
"Oh it's fine. I managed to live here." laughed an old man. "I'm Jackson Fright."
"Hello there, I'm Finn, and this is Lukas greeted Finn.
"Ah, you're the young man who brought back the Sage's Army. I must say that was impressive." said the man with a smile.
"Ah, it was nothing." blushed Finn.
"Oh but it was. I'm a very prideful man, but it makes me happy to say you did a great job."
"Oh, don't worry, I'm fine. I didn't help at all." growled Lukas.
"Ah, young Lukas, you have done quite remarkable feats. Such as saving the young Gwen, or the Prince Zachari." cackled the man.
Lukas tensed up. He had a bad feeling. This guy had a murderous essence lurking around him. The man seemed familiar, too familiar.
"How did you know about that? I didn't really explain things about Aeorobis."
The man growled, and tensed up. He then smiled and straightened his back. He pulled his hair back to reveal fiery red hair and a grim smile.
"You're Jacob! You caused the deaths of those Groundies!" growled Lukas.
"Oh, dear. My past has come back to haunt me. I'm so terrified. Please make my death swift and painless." yawned Jacob.
Finn drew his sword Lightbringer, and took a fighting stance. Lukas drew the gun he brought.
"You won't play your mind games with us." spat Lukas.
"Oh really? Then how about I play this?" laughed Jacob ripping through the air with his yellow energy. Suddenly five skeletons jumped through the rift. "Bone Soldiers, tear them apart."
"With pleasure my lord." cackled the head skeleton.
"Please, those things can't stop us." laughed Finn. He slashed his sword releasing a blinding flash of light.
Jacob and his soldiers all shouted as they tried to regain their sight. Lukas took the confusion as an advantage. He shot at the Bone Soldiers, taking down the three lead soldiers. Finn used the light from his sword as a whip, and snapped the neck of the one on the right. He then sent the whip straight through the head of the final soldier.
Jacob stood alone as the light cleared. He was surrounded by bones, and had a gun focused at his head. "Oh wonderful, back where we started." growled the redheaded teen.
"Huh, this is boring." yawned Beat. He played a short tune on his violin, and then grew tired of it. He got out of bed and headed towards the door. "Wait, they'll expect me to do that. To the window!"
"Yeah, no." laughed Romero appearing at the window. "Back to bed."
"Damn it." muttered Beat, climbing into the bed. Then he smiled, a great idea blossoming in his mind
"Alright let's see, we've repeated that little stunt three times, can I please kill you two now?" sighed Jacob. "You'll have to run out of bullets sometime."
"Oh get over it. We will kill you soon." laughed Finn.
"I won't kill him, I'm out of ammo." whispered Lukas.
"Perfect, now it's time to end this." grinned Jacob.
"I couldn't agree more." growled Finn. He sheathed Lightbringer, and drew his Mad Bow.
"Oh please, you have no arrows." scoffed Jacob.
"I just need focus to use this." stated Finn, before releasing an energy bolt from the bow, sending Jacob flying.
"Nice shot. I think he flew into the windmill." laughed Lukas.
"Alright, let's kill those dragons!" announced Finn running off.
"Can I have an apple?" asked Beat looking to his new guard, Nabooru.
"Sure, catch it." sighed Nabooru tossing him the red apple.
"Thanks. You know, I want to help rid Death Mountain of those dragons. I mean they are all the same as Volvagia, right?"
"No telling Grimsley. No telling." sighed the Gerudo.
"Bullcrap! I am not going up there." shouted Finn.
"Come on Finn, don't be a bitch." taunted Lukas climbing up the mountainside.
"Don't call me a bitch, Bitch!" roared Finn running up the path.
They reached the top and found the path to the crater blocked by boulders.
"Well we tried." shrugged Finn turning back.
"I don't think so, we're headed for the Goron City. They had a secret passage leading to the crater."
"Right let's go, back down the mountain. Or we could shoot at them from here."
"Come on Finn, we both know you're not that good a marksmen." chided Lukas.
"I could get you up there." laughed a masked man, who wore nothing but black. His mask was red with a wicked grin painted onto it. "Call me Red Spirit, I'm rather close to your friend Beat."
"How are you gonna help us?" asked Finn.
"With these Goron Tunics, they cancel out heat of the volcano. You can trust me, I'm wearing one also." laughed the masked man, pulling back his cloak to reveal his tunic. "I would suggest scaling the side instead of climbing up from the inside. We'd be easy picking for any nestlings inside. Our main target will be the King Dragon, which will be the biggest one there." explained Red Spirit.
"Aw jeez, this is just what I needed." sighed Finn.
"Suck it up, let's get climbing." urged Lukas scaling the mountain.
"But it... Ah screw it." muttered Finn following Lukas.
"Hmm, they seem off." yawned Spirit under his mask. "Beat should have warned me better."
End Notes:
Yeah, I kind of got a little too familiar with this. Well, Madskills turn.
Chapter 5: D-D-Dragons! by MadSkillz
Author's Notes:
MadSkillz is doing this chapter today! I'll be doing the next two after aswell.
When they were scaling the
mountain, about halfway from
where they wanted to go they
spotted the three dragons that
were circling the mountain
from before. One was red, another blue and the last one
green. Finn and Lukas thought
that the red one would breath
fire, the blue one would freeze
you and the green one was
either poison or just had bad breath.
"How do we get past these
things?" Finn asked in a
hushed tone.
"I don't know, I guess we'll
have to fight!" Lukas said, a bit louder than Finn.
"This is why I said we
shouldn't come up here!" Finn
said a bit louder now but still
in a hushed tone.
"Take out Lightbringer and bind them with light,"
"That will take too much
energy out of me,"
"Can you shoot them down
with the Mad Bow?"
"I'm not that good a marksman,"
"How about-"
"How about you try
something,"
"I have no abilities like you
guys," Lukas said looking down.
"Yes you do like...you can...I
mean remember that time
when you...yeah I know," Finn
replied.
"Where I come from, the world long since destroyed,
the people in my village all had
some control over some
element, there was an age you
were supposed to be to get
them but I never got mine, I was mocked by all the
children and I came became
the scum of the village" Lukas
said now looking away to
hide some tears that were
threatening to come out. "Wow man, maybe you're just
a late bloomer," Finn said
trying to comfort Lukas.
"I guess," Lukas replied in a
depressed tone. All of a
sudden water hit Finn on the cheek.
"Dude, what the hell do you
think you're doing?" Finn said.
"What?"
"Your tears just hit me on the
cheek," "Do tears not do that?"
"No,"
"They always did for me..."
"Don't you get it, man?" Finn
said a smile perking up on his
lips. "What?"
"You can control water,"
"I can?"
"Yeah pretty sure, just focus
and tell those tears in your
mind to hit the rock in front of you,"
Lukas did as he was told and
he summoned the water to hit
the rock. It took five minutes
to get it working but the last
tear he made hit Finn in the face again.
"Again? Seriously?" Finn said
in a bothered tone.
"Yes again!" Lukas laughed.
They started scaling the
mountain again, they forgot about the dragons that were
scaling the mountain and
when they got to where the
dragons were, the dragons
spotted them and swooped
down and hit the mountain. "D-D-Dragons!" Lukas
exlcaimed.
"Oh yeah," Finn said not
bothered by that fact.
They looked smaller than
before. In fact, way smaller than before. They still looked
fearsome but they were
probably just about Lukas'
size, if not a little taller. How
the heck do we kill these
things? Lukas thought. All of a sudden Red Spirit
showed up and he
spoke,"There are three
dragons"
"Oh yeah we never noticed,"
Lukas said, sarcastically "How do we kill them?"
"To kill these things you must
chop off what man was never
born with," Red Spirit said
"You must hold your ears with
your hands if you do not wish to become deaf,"
"Whats that supposed to
mean?" Lukas asked.
"I'll help you fight the
dragons," Red Spirit said,
taking out his chain and threw it at one of the dragon's feet
and chained it to the
mountain.
"You ignored my question!"
Lukas shouted and clutched
his ears to the roar of all three dragons. After that Finn gave
him his Mad Bow and
proceeded to fight the
dragons. Lukas held the Mad
Bow and for a long time didn't
know what to do with it. He got a strange feeling in his
mind that made him start
shooting like crazy at the
dragons. One dragon came
charging at him and he only
laughed manaically and fired loads of magical bolts at it.
The dragon sustained so much
damge on it's face and wings
it couldn't fly anymore and
started falling. Finn and Red
Spirit stood there watching, with their jaws dropped.
Beat never warned me about
this. Red Spirit thought.
He's going crazy with that
bow. He doesn't have a strong
mind like me. Finn thought. Dragon came from behind and
snatched Lukas up. Lukas just
started laughing and gripped
the Mad Bow and started to
shoot magical bolts at its head
and it loosened it's grip on him a little. He climbed onto its
back and crawled to its tail. He
laughed as he charged his
magical bolt and it cut straight
through its tail. The dragon
proceeded to fall and Lukas jumped off the back and back
onto the mountain.
The last dragon Red Spirit and
Finn took care of whilst Lukas
was in the air. They tackled
Lukas and took the Mad Bow away from him. Lukas was
resisting for a while and
stopped. He rubbed his head.
"What happened?"
"You became mad whilst
holding the Mad Bow for too long. You took out two of the
dragons but you could've done
anything," Finn answered.
"Oh wow...where's Red
Spirit?" Lukas said looking
past Finn's shoulder "I'm sure he was here a minute ago"
"Hmm...you're right where is-" A loud roar from the top cut
Finn off. They covered their
ears for the roar but the
intesity was much more
stronger so their ears were
hurt a bit aswell. "Well, well, the King Dragon is
angry...we'll have to scale
some more and prepare
ourselves for-"
Rocks tumbling down the
mountain cut Finn off again. They dodged some rocks but
Finn had to use Lightbringer to
hurl some rocks aside. It was
taking a toll on him since there
were so many and so heavy.
Lukas had to catch him sometimes because he
sometimes lost his footing.
After the rocks they had to
take a little break for Finn
who was tired. The break was
about 10 minutes long before they started to go off again. Beat was bored in bed. The
amount of time he had to wait
was agonising. There was the
door again. He was going to
take that escape route but
thought to himself, but wait they'll think I'll take that way
from last time. But then again
they might think the same
thing with the window since
it's the same way I escape a
lot of times. After much thinking he went
to the door. He opened it and
Richard was there. He sighed.
"Back to bed again?"
"No actually," Richard said
"We're gonna go to another realm to try to find Drake and
the Skull King. They've left
since a man weilding a great
bow around his back told us
so. He said he knew Finn but I
don't know. He didn't really look trustworthy to me but I
guess we'll have to believe
him for now. Finn and Lukas
aren't back from their little
adventure so there's a little
more waiting to be done" "Really? I'd rather go back to
bed," Beat replied.
"Be my guest, we're waiting
for Finn and Lukas anyways,"
Beat sighed and lay back on
his bed. You better hurry up Finn and Lukas he thought. A fifth roar out of five came
from the top.
"Do you ever shut up!" Finn
shouted.
"Then come up here and let
me kill you for murdering my children!" Something shouted
back at Finn.
"You can talk?" Lukas asked.
"Yes, I'm not the head dragon
for nothing you know!" the
King Dragon shouted back.
"I'm gonna have fun killing you," Finn replied.
Chapter 6: A New World by MadSkillz
Author's Notes:
Finn and Lukas finish their adventure and the party go to a new world in which they encounter a lot of...things.
At the top of the, unusually flat, mountain stood a fearsome dragon. It had different coloured scales on it, some red, some blue, some green, some purple and it had two large, massive, yellow wings that were red trimmed. On its head it had two massive horns. It's eyes were red with rage.
"You come on my mountain, kill my children and now you expect me to surrender?!" the King Dragon shouted and then started laughing"Hahahahahahaha! I will never surrender to two puny children! I am the King Dragon, Volvagia! Named after my Great Grandfather who died by getting his head chopped off by a man in a ridiculous green...suit" It looked at Finn's clothes. "You! You wear the same clothes as he, you must be a decendent of him! I shall slay you!" It charged at Finn with its horns pointing at him. Finn jumped out of the way and the dragon turned around and kept on chraging at Finn who kept dodging and had no time to draw any of his weapons.
If only I had some water, damnit! Lukas thought and clenched his fists. He didn't have to do anything since the dragon, Volvagia was going after Finn only. He felt a tap on his shoulder. It was Red Spirit.
"Need some water?" He asked.
"Yeah I do, where the hell were you?!" Lukas asked, shouting.
"That's for me to know and for you to find out, now here's a bottle of water as some advice try to freeze the water on the dragon and when you don't need to anymore, try to melt it back into water," Red Spirit replied.
Lukas nodded and looked at the dragon. He undid the bottle cap and focused the water onto the patch of land the dragon was on and froze it. The dragon skidded on the path and fell off the side of the, unusually flat, top of the mountain.
Finn drew a sigh of relief and drew his Mad Bow.
"Thanks," He said.
"No problem, get ready," Lukas replied and the dragon came back up flying.
"You thought that would get rid of me?!" The dragon asked.
"No not really," Lukas answered. Whilst the dragon was still flying, Finn shot multiple magic arrows into one wing of the dragon, rendering it useless and making the dragon fall back down.
Finn and Lukas walked to the edge and looked down. There was the dragon, trying to fly but failing. They both burst out laughing.
"Hahahahaha!Look at him he looks like an idiot! Hey dragon if I were you I'd just kill myself!" Finn teased "Watch this!" He took out his Mad Bow and aimed at the monster's other wing. He shot serveral holes through that wing aswell. Rendering it useless. It lay on its back spewing futile flames at the boys. Some green, some blue, some red, some purple but it didn't reach them. Finally, the boys decided to down the mountain and put the dragon out of it's misery.
At the bottom of the mountain, Lukas splashed water in the dragon's eye.
"Aargh! Stop, please!" The dragon pleaded.
"Hmm...okay," Lukas replied and splashed more water in its eye.
"Ready to fnish this?" Finn asked.
"Always," Lukas answered as Finn got out his Lightbringer and sliced the monster's tail as if it was butter. The dragon's body went limp and his eyes were lifeless.
"Well, back to Hyrule Castle now huh?" Lukas said, bored.
"Yep...wow there's nothing to do here is there?" Finn replied, bored aswell.
"Yeah..." Lukas said.
Back at the castle, Beat looked up at Death Mountain. There were no more dragons circling it. Must've finished their adventure. Beat thought and smiled, Well we can finally get this thing started. He opened the door to his bedroom and Richard was standing right beside his door.
"Finn and Lukas aren't back yet," Richard said.
"Yeah I know but their adventure is finished," Beat replied.
"What do you mean?" Richard asked.
"Look at Death Mountain," Beat answered and as he said that Richard walked over to the window and looked up at Death Mountain. He saw the same thing as Beat, no more dragons.
"Wow...they did that?" Richard asked, surprised.
"Yeah what did you expect?"
"Well I guess I did expect them to do their adventure,"
"Yeah well Finn and Lukas are-" Beat was cut off by Finn and Lukas' entrance. "Well speak of the devil!"
"Hey guys, we just killed-" Finn was cut off by Beat.
"Three dragons, yeah I know," Beat cut in.
"No, four actually, there was one massive dragon that we took down quite easily," Lukas said using his hands to show how big the dragon was.
"Well we can finally go to another world, to try to get to where Drake and the Skull King is," Richard said, reminding them of their main quest. They nodded in recognition and walked down to the Castle Courtyard and looked at Lukas. Lukas threw the dimension shard and it caused a huge rift to open. They stepped through the rift and decided to go down.
There entered a world full of trees. Or so they thought. As they walked through they came to the exit of the forest and in front of them was a really shallow but wide stream where the water came up to your ankle. There was a cave directly opposite them across the wide stream, to their right was a way out of there and to go somewhere else and to their left was a medium sized, horizontal hole in the rock where a three strange creatures that had a frill on the sides of its face, red eyes, a tail, two hands and two feet, though the hands were small. It had claws coming out of its feet and along its back it was light blue trimmed but the rest of its body was orange. One of the three monsters spotted them and did some kind of warning call and the other two turned and looked them. They started slowly approaching them and they all drew their weapons to fight.
At that moment a man in armour that had what looked like some of the monsters skin on it but also iron in other places came out with a long sword shaped exactly like a katana though he had to hold it with two hands because it was that long. He took them out quickly leaving big wounds in their bodies and Beat noticed whenever he sliced one of them, water would come out of it. He took out a dagger and started to take off claws and some of their skin on all three of them.
When he was done he turned and around saw all of them. "You're not from here are you?" He asked.
Chapter 7: Lost in a Kayve by Beat15
Author's Notes:
Oh dear, Beat is writing this one. I also get the privilege of writing the next one, muwahahaha! Ok I'm done.
"No we are not my good man. Thank you for saving us." stated Beat with a bow.
"I wasn't saving you. I was protecting my village." growled the man.
"Well, maybe you could guide us there." suggested Finn.
"Sure. I'd never turn down some lost kids." replied the man. He motioned for them to follow.
"I'm a little skeptical about following this guy." whispered Richard nudging Lukas.
"Me too." agreed Lukas.
Beat and Finn were walking right behind the man. Lukas and Richard trailed behind. Beat was curious about this place, but their guide refused to speak.
"So where are we?" asked Beat.
Nothing.
"What do you go by?" asked Finn.
Nothing.
"What were those things?" asked Lukas.
Nothing.
"Are we there yet?" moaned Richard dragging his feet.
"Yes." replied the man stopping.
They found themselves in an open area of trees.
"Where'd you find these boys Kane?" laughed a voice.
Finn looked up to see an old woman leaning over a rail of a treehouse.
"I found them out while I was getting rid of those Ripters. Damn things are hiding more." explained Kane.
"Hello there. Aren't you a pretty thing, where's your mother little lady?" greeted Beat devilishly.
"Aww, aren't you sweet!" swooned the old lady. "Kane let them up!" she screamed.
"Yes madam elder." grumbled Kane walking up to the tree. He pulled the bark and revealed a ladder. "Up you go." he muttered.
Finn climbed up first and found himself up in the center of the treehouse. Richard followed in after him with Lukas and Kane.
"Where's the polite young lad?" asked the elder.
"That depends on who you think is the polite one." laughed Beat circling around her.
"Ee-hee-hee! You're quite a talented boy." laughed the old lady smiling a toothless grin.
"Oh please." gagged Finn.
"Quiet you!" growled the elder pointing a bony finger at him.
"My dear beautiful young elder, please, could you explain this place to us?" asked Beat holding her hands.
"Why ask away my dear boy." cackled the woman.
"You guys may want to come with me." warned Kane grabbing Lukas and Richard.
"Gladly." nodded Lukas. He and the others followed the man clad in armor.
"You owe me big time" mouthed Beat glaring at them.
Kane guided the boys to another tree where no one seemed to be.
"This village is my home. I'm Kane. I wandered this jungle until I met my beautiful wife, Evelyn. She lived in this village and convinced me to settle down. I had a handsome young son, who I named Solace. But about a month ago, a rift appeared in the sky, releasing two men. One with long red hair, and another with a dark skin. They seemed to float, but when the red haired one looked around he seemed bored. He snapped his fingers and several rifts appeared, releasing monsters throughout our jungle. We have heard the names of these creatures from the men controlling them. They rampaged through the jungle, killing all the people who weren't in the houses, including my family." explained Kane.
"The land you are in right now is the world of Kayve. This world is so peaceful, yet so boring." yawned Jacob, looking at his captive. "You see, I have made it so every creature I brought here can serve a purpose, even after death. I can see what is going on around the remains of my pets. I hope you'll enjoy you're stay."
"Go to hell!" wheezed the man. He was big, but had cuts and scars all over him. He was a shell of the man he once was. Ganondorf stood weakly before his captor. "Why are you doing this?"
"Oh? You can still talk." laughed Jacob. "We want everything! Skull King is in need of everything. That'd be the plain way of saying it."
"My lord, we've confirmed the arrival of the four you warned us of. They are also accompanied by the man that's been killing our Ripters." announced a lizard-like man.
"Kane? Please, he's no threat. He has nothing... Wait the other four? Grimsley and Finn, Richard, and that other kid. Shit!" shouted Jacob hurling a knife at his informant.
The unfortunate lizard writhed in pain as it breathed it's final breath. Letting water pour out of the wound.
"Damn it! How did they know where to go? Agghhhhhh!" screamed Jacob, rampaging through the room.
Ganondorf managed a weak smile as he was tossed aside. "Beat you should fall asleep so I can warn you."
"Dear Nayru, kill me now!" thought Beat as he listened to the old woman. "Shut up you old hag!"
"And so then I,"
"Yo, Grimsley! Kane is gonna show us how to use that sword he used, you should join us." shouted Finn.
"Sorry m'dear, but I must be off." sighed Beat struggling to hide his joy. He ran to the rail, grabbed hold, and flipped off of it.
"Nice entrance." laughed Richard.
"Thank you all. Especially you Kane, for coming to my rescue." sobbed Beat happily.
"No one should have to suffer through that. Now, if you want to keep safe, just stay away from her. Now come and I'll show you how to use a katana." laughed Kane.
"Sweet." laughed Beat. "I was getting bored with this rapier, and I get too drained using the staff."
"Haha, I can teach you how to use one, and then I'll give you each one." announced Kane coming to a stop in front of a cliffside. "Who wants the first round?"
"I'll go." volunteered Lukas. He noticed a light drizzle starting. "Perfect" was echoing through his mind as he stepped forward.
"Are you nuts?" gasped Richard. "You don't have any real weapons! A knife won't cut it!"
"Richard please. You know the strength am unarmed man can have. Perhaps something new can show you the light." sighed Beat sitting beneath a tree.
"Lukas can handle this. Unlike Mad Bow." muttered Finn.
The man bowed, so Lukas did the same. When both rose the fight began. Kane darted forward, blade drawn going for Lukas's arm. Lukas slid under him using the mud made by the rain. Lukas pulled the knife from Kane's sheath and stood up.
"Damn, kid makes me look bad." laughed Beat.
Kane slashed down to be blocked by the knife.
Lukas stood still focusing. He had an idea. He focused on freezing the water on the knife, making it larger. Unfortunately, it didn't work as he planned.
"Holy crap! Why am I getting encased in ice?" shouted Richard.
Lukas looked to see Richard's demise, making it easy for Kane to strike. But when Lukas tried to melt the ice on Richard it froze the rain on Kane, pelting him with hail.
"Lukas, give it a break." sighed Finn shaking his head.
"You did that?" laughed Beat. "Hooray, I'm not alone."
Before anyone could ask he snapped his fingers and the ice around Richard started melting. The rain also evaporated and turned to steam.
"Is it hot in this world? Or is it just me?" teased Beat.
"Real funny." growled Richard. "Now use those flames near me again and I'll strangle you in your sleep."
"You wouldn't do that." yawned Beat.
"What are you boys?" gasped Kane shaking his head.
"Hmm? We're Hylians, or at least Beat and I are. Richard is human, and Lukas is from another world too." explained Finn.
"Explain your worlds please I'm too confused. Mainly explain the fire and ice control." sighed Kane.
"Not ice, water." corrected Lukas.
A man watched the group from the shadows. He knew his job. Protect his son at all costs. But remain hidden. He saw the Wrecktiles moving through the trees, and sighed. He notched three arrows to his bow, releasing all three at once. The arrows hit their marks, each monster falling to the ground.
"No one harms Finn." he growled.
Beat had explained how he had been given the power of controlling fire. Richard had added how he got dragged into Beat's adventure. Finn had told how he was deceived by Drake, and Lukas explained his home's fate and how everyone had some kind of power. Kane then explained his villages misfortune.
"Jacob!" growled Beat.
"I thought we beat him." moaned Lukas.
"Wait you fought him?" exclaimed Richard.
"Yeah, back in Kakariko. He was pretty easy. But I had to ditch my gun, I ran out of bullets." explained Lukas.
"Haha, I tried to use them sparingly. I only used it once when I attacked the Bone Castle." chuckled Beat.
"Alright, get over it! We wanna learn how to use those katanas." growled Richard.
"Fine." grumbled Beat.
"Damn it!" growled Richard as he was knocked over by Finn. "Hyaah!" he shouted swinging his sword around.
"Tsk, tsk." sighed Beat watching his friends fight. He then deftly dodged a stab from Lukas. "Oh right we were fighting." he yawned ducking under a slash.
"Oh great. These kids fight each other all out. Just glad they don't use any other powers or crap they have." muttered Kane.
"Owww!" screamed Lukas clutching his left leg.
"Oh come on! I didn't use enough force to break the bone." whined Beat.
"You smacked me with the frickin with that wooden stick!" shouted Lukas. He focused his tears to dart at Beat, but they evaporated before reaching Beat.
"Yeah, that won't work." yawned Beat.
Richard then screamed in pain.
"You bastard!" wheezed Richard kneeling to the ground.
"Sorry Richard, if I'd known you were gonna flip backwards I wouldn't of done the down slash." apologized Finn rubbing the back of his head.
"Alright." moaned Richard.
Finn helped Richard to his feet and shook hands with his friend. Beat tried to help Lukas, but he refused.
"Fine. I'm sorry for trying to help." growled Beat turning away.
"Oh come on, cut it out! You should just get over it Lukas." sighed Finn.
"I just want to hurry up and end this." yawned Richard.
"Hey don't blame me!" growled Beat.
"Just chill." suggested Finn.
"Shhh!" shushed Lukas focusing. "I hear something."
"That would be the hunters returning." replied Kane. "Let's go eat."
The meal consisted of roasted fish, assorted fruits, and bread. For drinks nothing but water.
"This is really good." stated Finn between mouthfuls of fish.
"Mmhmmm." agreed Richard with a nod.
"Eh, it's alright." yawned Beat, polishing an apple on his shirt.
"Show some respect Beat." hissed Richard kicking Beat under the table.
"Ow!" whispered Finn, trying to keep from screaming.
"Sorry." apologized Richard.
"Jerk." muttered Finn as he kicked Richard back.
"Quit it you two." chided Lukas, before taking a bite of bread.
"All done." whispered Finn.
Richard kicked Finn one more time, then stopped. "I'm good."
Beat shook his head and looked to the stars. He sighed and thought to himself. "Why this peaceful place? Why Aeorobis? Why Hyrule? Why are his enemies doing this? What is Skull King and Drake's intentions?" he sighed again and took a bite of his apple. "Can we even return to our lives after this?"
Kane walked up to the boys and placed two swords on the table. "Finn, Beat each of you take one." he instructed.
"Nah, I'm good." yawned Beat seeming to come out of a trance.
"Give them to Lukas and Richard." suggested Finn.
"Fine. You two can pass up using these." growled Kane walking off.
"What he doesn't realize is that I can manage without a two handed-weapon." sighed Beat.
"I thought they deserved them more. I mean we both won. They got hurt pretty well." agreed Finn.
"Yeah and," Beat began before passing out.
"Beat?" gasped Lukas.
"What happened?" asked Finn shaking Beat.
"Relax, he does that a lot." yawned Richard as he rose from his seat.
"You're used to this?" asked Lukas in shock.
"It's been a while since he did this though. I wonder who he's talking with." shrugged Richard.
"Uggh, who did that? Not Nabooru, Din? No, she wouldn't leave Hyrule." thought Beat aloud.
"It's me." wheezed a tall man.
"Ganondorf? What happened to you?" gasped Beat rushing to his friend.
"I was captured by the Bone Army. They kept me alive to try and steal my Triforce. They stopped every time I was close to death. They knew if I died it would go to a new host." explained Ganondorf, wheezing and coughing.
"Wait, are you in this world?" asked Beat.
"Yes, but my time is short. I'm going to die, and my piece of the Triforce will transfer to someone else. But you need to help free me. I refuse to die a prisoner. You will need a boat to cross the river. The people here may help you."
"So we sail upriver to get to the place their holding you?"
"Yes. But Jacob is somehow seeing everything you do in this world. He is monitoring every action you do like this was a game. He sent something to kill you boys, but something stopped them. This may be an ally, or a greater enemy."
"Thanks for the warning."
"Good luck, I'm counting on you." sighed Ganondorf as he evaporated into mist.
Finn stood by Beat waiting for him to come to. When Beat did wake he hit heads with Finn.
"Ow. Why were you hovering over me?" moaned Beat.
"You passed out in the middle of a conversation."
"How rude of me!" gasped Beat.
"Eh, no big deal. Richard said something about talking with someone. Were you?"
"Oh yeah, we should head up river to find a hideout where a friend of mines being held captive." yawned Beat. "I'm beat."
"I know your name idiot."
"I mean as in tired, moron."
"Hey, shut up! Some of us are trying to sleep, assholes!" shouted Lukas.
"We getting him tomorrow?" asked Finn.
"Hell yeah." grinned Beat evilly.
End Notes:
What cruel fate awaits Lukas? Damn me, why didn't I say what happened.
Chapter 8: Sailing Upriver, What Could Go Wrong? by Beat15
Author's Notes:
The river. Where the group of friends will set sail and find the enemy base of, wait... which guy did we put here?
Lukas awoke to find himself tied to the branches of a large spruce tree.
"What the hell?" he gasped.
"Shut up, we're trying to sleep!" shouted Beat and Finn in unison.
A few hours later Finn finally untied Lukas. Beat sat on the branch, eating a slice of toasted bread. He tried to convince Finn to keep him tied up.
"All I'm saying is he needs to learn his place. He insulted us, and we're the leaders." sighed Beat as Finn swung his swords light tendril at the ropes binding their friend.
"I agree with you Beat, I just think we shouldn't starve him." replied Finn. "Besides, we've got a river to cross."
"Oh yeah." murmured Beat taking a bite of the bread.
"I'm coming with you. Kane can't risk leaving, but I can steer the boat." stated the young girl standing before the boat. She had a good figure, and was about Finn's height. Her hair was wavy, brunette, and went down to her shoulders. "I'm Mist, your captain, commander, and queen." she growled.
"Captain, permission to speak?" saluted Beat standing to attention.
"Granted." she nodded, smiling at his attitude.
"Your skirt was blown up. It is revealing your undergarments. I must add, frills is not what I would expect from someone of your attitude." stated Beat, starting to blush.
Finn and Lukas burst out laughing at that. Richard, trying to use his training, managed to only smile.
"All of you on the ship now!" she screamed. "And I hope you learn to show more respect Grimsley!"
"Yes ma'am, Captain." shouted Beat from the ship
"Kane owes me big for making me put up with these kids." she growled under her breath.
"Cap'n, I must apologize for Beat's actions. He is not as sane as you, and I fear he may have gotten me to lose some sanity." apologized Richard, returning to stand before her.
"I may let you and the other two off, but Beat needs to learn his place, he's in charge of cooking." she replied thinking.
"If I may Captain, he is a terrible cook. He'd be better off cleaning and other things like that." suggested Richard.
"Hmm, much more fitting. Who would cook?"
"I can. I was the cook for a gathering of fighters led by Beat. He acts like an idiot, but he always has a reason for what he does. Maybe it was his way of telling you that he respects your authority." sighed Richard walking onboard.
Mist stood still, frozen by the words spoken. She had authority? It was respected by a leader? Grimsley was a leader? All these questions whizzed through her head.
"Cap'n! Are you ready to set sail?" shouted Finn who had climbed up the mast to the small crows nest.
"Aye, I'll be there to steer shortly." replied Mist, shaking her head. "What is going on?" she murmured.
Beat was satisfied by the results of his statement. He proved the captain was strict, and ready to dish out punishment. He was relieved when Richard told him what his task was.
"Swab the deck, even though it's only a skiff. Two cabins, the kitchen where we sleep, and her quarters. This is easy." muttered Beat to himself. "Just keep testing the captain, see how ready she is to defend her title."
"I thought that was your intention." laughed Finn behind Beat.
"I knew you were there. I figured you would thank me for pointing that little up-skirt out to you guys." sighed Beat mopping more of the wooden deck.
"It was good for a laugh. Now if you'll excuse me, I've got a few things to do." yawned Finn walking off.
"I didn't stop you." muttered Beat turning back to his work.
Lukas was at the tiller, learning how to steer the vessel. He listened closely, trying to learn as quickly and efficiently as possible. He didn't want to end up like Beat, who was now cleaning the anchor.
"Alright Lukas, just ease it to port, that's the left side." instructed Mist kindly.
"Right." nodded Lukas turning his attention back to his work.
"When we hit the current we'll need to row. After all, we're headed against the current.
"Aye Captain!" shouted Beat and Finn from their posts. Richard banged on his ceiling, which was under Lukas's feet.
"They seemed to learn quickly." laughed Mist crossing her arms against her chest. "I'll be studying some river charts if I'm needed. Knock first."
"Aye Captain." nodded Lukas.
Richard had his hair tied up in a bandana, and rolled his sleeves up. He had sweat plastering his hair to his forehead as he cooked over the bubbling cauldron.
"This is way too hot." he muttered.
He tried to douse the flame, but it didn't faze the fire.
"Beat, come here!" he shouted.
"What? I'm busy cleaning." snapped Beat sticking his head through the door.
"Lower this flame please?" asked Richard.
Beat sighed and snapped his fingers. The flame diminished and now cooked the soup he was making perfectly.
"Thank you." sighed Richard.
"The firewood was soaked in oil. The Captain should know. I'm out." stated Beat walking out the door.
"Oh great. Time to get the Captain." grumbled Richard as he walked out the door.
Finn sat in the crows-nest looking for anything that may house their enemy. He was soon bored with that.
"Hey Beat! Switch jobs with me!" he shouted down to his friend.
"No, I'll get yelled at by Mist." replied Beat gruffly.
"But this is so boring." sighed Finn leaning over the rail. He then spotted a major threat. "Turn around! Whirlpool!" he shouted.
Beat snapped out of his act, abandoning his cleaning duties and rushing to the tiller. He pushed Lukas aside and turned hard to port.
"Why did you push me? I could have turned it." growled Lukas rubbing his face.
"Sorry, instincts kicked in. Needed friends to survive." laughed Beat.
"Where'd that one come from?" shouted Finn.
Beat and Lukas turned to see another whirlpool where they were turning towards.
"What is going on?" shouted Mist as she ran up to the tiller.
"Whirlpools on either side of us." stated Beat grimly.
"So we reached this point." sighed Mist. "We have to go ashore."
Richard stumbled onto the deck and pointed to a major threat. "The banks are too high. If we went ashore we'd ruin the ship."
"Survival of the crew first. Captains main priority." replied Mist.
"Um, I don't mean to interrupt, but the whirlpools are gone." shouted Finn.
"This is really confusing." growled Lukas.
The crew stood perplexed by this event for only a minute. Before any could even guess what was going on it struck.
A giant serpent like beast rose from the river. It's head looked like that of one of the dragons Finn and Lukas had killed, but it had metal plating against the side of it's face. It revealed a cavernous mouth filled with rows of teeth. It let out an earsplitting roar and dove beside the ship, causing a massive surge of water to pour onto the deck.
"What was that?" gasped Mist as the water trickled off the sides of her face.
"Looked like a river dragon, but with metal attached to it." answered Finn.
"Wait, here it comes again!" shouted Richard.
He was half right. Because this time two heads rose from the water. Each had blue scales, and while one was dark marine blue, the other was as blue as the water.
"Lukas freeze the water!" screamed Finn jumping from the mast.
Lukas focused on the river, but only managed to freeze the areas around the banks. he concentrated more, trying to freeze the dragons. But a third dragon rose from behind the ship and struck at Lukas's unprotected back.
"Lukas!" gasped Beat pushing the boy aside. Beat was then covered in water that seemed to be freezing around him.
"Oh my lord!" gasped Mist looking to the frozen boy.
The ice started to steam and Beat shook himself out as steam rose from him.
"That was unpleasant." stated Beat shaking himself.
"What the hell? How'd you do that?" shouted Mist trying to comprehend what happened.
"Just, ugh, we'll tell you later." sighed Finn drawing Lightbringer.
The three heads rose to reveal their razor sharp teeth. The larger of the three struck at Richard but Finn blinded it with a flash from his sword. Lukas tried freezing it again but seemed to freeze the timbers of the boat. The other two heads decided to strike at the same time, aiming for Mist and Finn.
"No way!" shouted Beat snapping his fingers. A flame jumped from his hand and shot at the two heads.
The serpents screeched and dove under water. Leaving a eerie silence.
"They're gonna come back. We've gotta prepare ourselves." sighed Richard.
"How come I can't freeze this river?" sobbed Lukas.
"Don't worry. I think one of them keeps the water warm to shoot scalding water out. So then one would freeze, one boils, and the third would probably be the smart one." explained Beat.
"But it has been difficult to do anything." whined Lukas.
"Oh shit!" gasped Beat.
"What is it?" asked Mist in shock.
"We forgot Zachari in the void!" screamed Beat.
"Oh my goddesses!" gasped Richard.
"How did we do that?" screamed Finn.
"Lets hope he's okay." stated Lukas.
"Where the hell am I?" shouted Zachari. He found himself in a place far more advanced than Aeorobis. "This place is amazing." he sighed.
"Hey you! Get out of the way!" screamed a man on a strange metal vehicle with two wheels. Right behind him a bigger vehicle with four wheels followed.
Zachari looked at the things, an decided to follow them. He got a running start, and jumped into the sky. He glided towards the strange vehicles and landed on the larger one.
"Excuse me, could you explain where I am?" asked the prince, calling to the one on the two wheeled vehicle.
"You lost?" shouted the man.
"You could say that. I was dropped here by a group of people I don't really know well."
"You sound like someone that was lost in the Void. We here in Cybitril can help. But maybe you could help us first."
"Sure, I'd be happy to help." agreed Zachari.
"I'm sure your friend is fine, just explain what's going on!" shouted Mist. "How is it possible for you to use fire and freeze things?"
"I would wait for that answer. The things are coming back." grimaced Finn.
"You know what? Screw it. We all need to make a sacrifice now and then, I'm jumping ship and taking those things on!" stated Richard.
"Yeah, no. If anyone has nothing to lose it's me. I may find happiness in death, I may reunite with Ivy." sighed Beat. He handed Lukas his rapier, and drew his staff.
"I am not gonna let you die. I'm backing you up." growled Finn.
"Ha, I'm appreciative, but no. If I don't kill those things, shoot them with your Mad Bow. I probably will get eaten." stated Beat.
The serpents rose, and stared at the people. Beat ran forward, and slammed his staff into the middle serpents head. That made the other two strike, the larger of the two swallowed Beat, not even bothering to chew.
"Oh no!" gasped Richard.
"Bastards!" roared Finn firing Mad Bow at the one that swallowed Beat.
Then the middle serpent began to heave. It's noun opened and Beat pushed his way out.
"How'd I get in this one?" he gasped in disgust.
"What the hell?" gasped everyone watching.
Beat was swallowed again. And when everyone snapped back to reality, Lukas snapped the bow from Finn's hand.
"You may hit Beat." explained Lukas.
"I don't give a damn, just help me kill this freaking thing!" screamed Beat shoving his head from the third head. "Wait I've got an idea!"
Suddenly the thing started writhing around. Causing massive surges and waves. Beat then jumped from the center mouth and rolled onto the deck.
The creature kept bucking, and then stopped. It then exploded and covered the crew in blood.
"What did you do?" shouted Richard in surprise.
"I emptied a bag of bombchus in it's throats. They kept scampering around, so it made them spit me up." laughed Beat, wiping blood from his face.
"You're face is cut." sighed Mis wiping a cloth across his face.
Lukas choked up at that. He sniffed, and then shook his head. "Well, you didn't die." grinned Lukas.
"These things aren't the monsters that have been sprouting up. They all bleed water, this thing had real blood." growled Mist.
"Eh, who cares? We did kill it." yawned Finn.
Suddenly a giant head burst through the deck of the ship sending the group flying. Finn went flying into the water, while Lukas and Mist were thrown onto the shore.
Richard clung to the wreckage, and looked for Beat. He saw Finn, floating with his face under, but then he vanished. He turned to find a large man jumping across the wreckage, and grabbed him. Richard went unconscious as he was pulled from the water.
Beat clung to the head of the monster, trying to keep from being tossed off. He watched his friends get to safety, and smiled. He then turned his attention to the monstrosity.
"So, you that things real head?" laughed Beat. He drew his hidden weapon, and placed it on the monsters eye. "Bang."
The monsters eye exploded, and the Beas screamed in pain. It dove under the water, dying as it sunk deeper. Beat could feel someone searching for him, but he doubted they would find him. He fell asleep, and found himself with all his lost loved ones. His mother, Ivy, and everyone else that hadn't been returned yet. He was swept away by the current as he reunited with his lost love. "My sweet Ivy, may I have this final dance?"
"Of course." nodded Ivy as she hugged Beat, guiding him to a place of safety.
"Damn. I didn't get Grimsley." sighed the large archer. He looked at the two he managed to save. He smiled looking at his son. The other boy began to stir, and looked at him.
"You're the guy who had the giant bow!" he gasped.
"My name is Madskillz, but don't tell Finn I was here. I regret what I'm about to tell you." sighed Madskillz.
"What happened?" sighed Richard.
"Your friend Beat, I didn't manage to save him. Lukas and Mist made it ashore, but I swept you and Finn out of the water. Beat took that thing that attended you all down in one final effort. I'm sorry, but Beat Grimsley is dead." explained the man.
"No." gasped Richard.
"I must go now. Remember, Finn can't know I was here."
End Notes:
What sorrow, Beat is really, truly, absolutely, positively, 100%, no doubt about it, dead. Or is he? Wait yeah, he saw spirits and was guided to safe place. Oh, it's up to Finn, Lukas and Richard now.
Chapter 9: Split Up by MadSkillz
Lukas woke up to find himself
in an awkward position with
Mist. She was lying on top of
him and her face was looking
at his left cheek, she was still
unconscious. At least she's unconscious Lukas thought to
himself as he slowly, not
wanting to wake her up,
pushed her off of him and put
her down on the floor next to
him. He noticed she had a cut on her arm so he tore off some
fabric from his sleeve and
wrapped it around her wound.
He felt a cold breeze and
shivered. Wow its getting
quite cold I guess I should wrap her up in something
Lukas thought and looked
around, all he could see were
trees and bushes but the best
he could find was a bush that
had really long leaves, so he tore a few of them off and
covered Mist in them. He
started searching around for
firewood to make a fire to
heat them up. Finn finally woke up to find
himself ashore with Richard,
who was already awake, sat
beside him.
"Oh Finn you're awake,"
Richard said. Finn yawned,"Yeah I am,
where's Beat?"
Richard looked down and told
him of Beats demise.
"He's dead?! Then...then...how
did we end up here?" Finn asked, shocked.
"Well this m-" Richard stopped
himself remembering what
MadSkillz had said, then he
continued,"We must've
washed up to shore" "Well...okay, what now?" Finn
replied.
"I guess we either look for
Lukas and Mist or we find
civilisation," Richard
suggested. "It would be best to look for
civilisation, I mean what are
the odds that we'd find Lukas
and Mist anyways," Finn said.
"We'll do that then," Richard
replied. They started to walk into the
trees, in search of civilisation.
MadSkillz followed at a safe
distance behind but unseen
and unheard.
"That was close Richard, don't give me away so soon," He
muttered as he followed. "What is this thing that you
ride in?" Zachari asked.
"This thing is called a car," He
growled.
"Ah, its amazing, so whats
your name?" Zachari asked again.
"My name's Mason and yours
is?" Mason answered.
"My name is Zachari, second
prince of Aerobis," Zachari
replied. "Aerobis? Whats that?" Mason
asked.
"It was a world I came from,"
Zachari said.
"Was?"
"Yes was because it got destroyed and now my
relatives are gone," Zachari
growled and he
continued,"What do you need
help with?"
"I'll let my friend tell you that but first relax, enjoy Cybritil
for a while," Mason said.
Zachari nodded and lied down
on his seat, closed his eyes, to
rest. Mist woke up to find herself
wrapped in leaves, a bandage
on her arm and a fire was set
up. Lukas was sitting beside it
looking at her but looking
vacant, as if he was daydreaming.
"What are you looking at?"
Mist asked and it seemed to
snap Lukas out of his
daydream.
"Huh? What did you say?" Lukas replied.
She decided to switch
questions,"Why was I
wrapped in leaves?"
"Well I-"
"Why do I have a bandage around my arm?"
"Because-"
"And one more thing, where
are the others?" She asked and
let him speak this time.
"Well first off, you were wrapped in leaves because it
started to get a little cold and
since you were still
unconscious I wrapped you in
those leaves, secondly, you
have a cut on your arm so I bandaged it up for you and I
don't know where the others
are, you know you look kinda
cute when you're sleeping,"
Lukas answered.
Mist tried not to blush,"Th- thank you" she stammered.
"You're welcome captain,"
Lukas replied and he stood up
and walked over to her and
offerred his hand to her. "Shall
we go?" She was surprised at his
attitude but didn't hold his
hand, she got up by herself.
"We have to find the others"
"Forgive me if I'm wrong but
wouldn't it be best to find some kind of village? It would
take too long for us to find the
others,"
"Then we shall keep looking,
however long it takes!"
Lukas sighed as they started to look for the others. As they
were walking something
came into his mind.
"How old are you?"
"I'm 15,"
"Then how were you the captain of us? In fact, how did
you know how to use a ship
or read river charts?"
"I was trained when I was ten
and the Village Elder allowed
me to go because we had to keep all the hunters in the
village and no one else
wanted to go,"
Then something popped into
her mind.
"How can you freeze things?" She asked.
"I control water," he
corrected,"I can control water
because in my world, a place
long since destroyed, everyone
there could control some kind of element. In my village I
couldn't so I became the scum
of the village people used to
tease me and make fun of me
but Finn helped me and I
found I could control water," saying that made him go into
a depressed mood.
"Really? Wow I'm sorry but its
all okay now right? I mean
you can control water," She
said trying to cheer him up. She felt bad for making him
say that.
"Yep well that was in the past.
Hey, random question, do you
have a boyfriend?"
"No I don't why?" "No real reason just umm
wanted to know," Lukas
replied quickly but on the
inside he was cheering. He
then heard a rustle in the
bushes. "Get down!" he loudly
whispered.
They both crouched down and
a monster with two horns on
its head and four legs. It was
quite big and Mist knew exactly what it was.
"Overeryia!" she
whispered,"Stay very still it's
vision is based on motion!"
"Okay," Lukas replied.
It started to rain lightly. Perfect Lukas thought and
focused the water to hit the
Overeryia at faster speeds,
then he made the water
harden so it became hard ice
pelting the monster. The monster went down quickly
and red blood sprouted from
its wounds.
"Blood again? But the
monsters are only meant to
bleed water whats going on?" Mist muttered whilst putting
her hand on her head. "Richard can we stop? My feet
hurt," Finn moaned.
"Suck it up, we'll stop when it
gets dark alright?" Richard
chided.
"Awww," Finn whined, dragging his feet.
Chapter 10: Now What? by Beat15
Author's Notes:
Beat has been pronounced dead, and word is hitting everyone. What will become of these heroes now that a main part of them is missing.
"I did it! I finally killed that damn Beat!" laughed Jacob evily. "A shame I didn't do it though. I would have Rage, then I could give it to my lord." he sighed.
"Are you sure I wouldn't be receiving it?" laughed Drake stepping through a rift. "I mean, I'm just as important."
"All you do is take us where we need to go, and if necessary, destroy a world. Much like the one you came from." spat Jacob.
Ganondorf sat in his cell, trying to establish a link with Beat. He couldn't believe his friend was dead. He kept trying, his face sweating. He tossed the armor he wore aside, and stared at his Triforce. It started glowing red and he then found himself where he and Beat always spoke with their source of strength.
"Is he alive?" gasped the disgruntled Gerudo.
"I can't find him in any of the worlds we are involved in." sighed Din.
"I was planning on giving my piece to Beat, but now he's gone."
"Why not Finn?"
"I doubt he'll be happy to receive a gift from us." sighed a girl with long blue hair.
"Nayru?" gasped Din.
"Yes, and Farore is arriving also. We are here to apologize."
"I don't want your sympathy!" shouted Din. "I want him back! Red Spirit!"
"Yes milady?" asked Red Spirit appearing next to her.
"Search Kayve for him, I want him brought to me!"
"Yes ma'am. But just consider this, didn't he want to die?" growled the spirit as he departed.
"He has a point sister." sighed Nayru.
"I know. I just think he should be buried in a traditional fashion, where he loved to be." snapped Din.
"I am giving the choice to The Triforce. I don't have much time left." wheezed Ganondorf. He coughed up a little blood and fell to the floor. He found himself back in his cell, with a large gash on his head. He saw blood on the bed and realized he fell on it. He looked at his hand and saw his Triforce was gone. "I pray it ends up in the right hands." coughed the Gerudo as he closed his eyes for the last time.
Drake stood before the cell, looking at the dead prisoner. He sighed, and turned the body over with his foot. "No Triforce. He gave it up." he stated looking at the guards. "Inform Jacob of this. I'm going out." he then stepped through a rift and vanished.
"Does that freak you out as much as it does me?" asked the first guard.
"Yeah, let's go tell our master."
Finn stopped with Richard for camp. He had a strange sense that he was being watched. He looked around trying to find out what was happening.
"Would you cut that out?" growled Richard as he struck a rock with his sword, sending sparks up to ignite the pile of grass he had made.
"Sorry, I'm just a little on edge." sighed Finn. "Hearing about Beat, it just, made me uneasy."
"I know, I just, I watched him like a bodyguard. I traveled with him since we started the Sage's Army. I watched him go through too many things, and he saved me from joining those creeps. I just, feel like I never got to repay him."
"Could you tell me about him?" asked Finn, covering his head from the rain.
"Yeah, sure. Wait, what's that on your hand?" asked Richard pointing to the hand in question.
"Ah, it's some kind of bug! Ah I feel it sucking my blood out!" shouted Finn.
"Get rid of it!" screamed Richard.
Finn shook his hand and sent it flying onto Richard's face.
Richard screamed and clawed it off and threw it into the fire.
"Let's not sleep here." suggested Finn getting up.
"Yeah. I don't want anymore of those things anywhere near us." agreed Richard stomping out the flames.
Close by Madskillz had to keep himself from laughing. He bit down on an arrow's shaft, trying to stifle the laughter.
Lukas and Mist were making progress. They found a trail near the river, and followed it downstream.
"So what encouraged you to help us?" asked Lukas trailing behind his leader.
"Kane asked me to help you guys. He raised me since I was orphaned. I do what I can to help him." stated Mist, looking over shoulder at the blue-haired boy. "Is your hair naturally that color?"
"Yeah, why? Do you not like it?" gasped Lukas trying to cover his hair.
Mist laughed and walked up to him. "Your hair is fine. I was just curious." she reassured, moving his hands away from his head.
"Oh, Uh, thanks." he blushed, rubbing the back of his head.
"Alright, the current would carry them down here, so lets keep moving." she stated turning back to the trail.
Lukas was about to respond when he heard a scream pretty familiar to him.
"Finn?" he gasped. He then heard another shout, who he could only assume was Beat or Richard.
"Those sounds came from the other bank!" explained Mist as she ran forward. She saw the bushes moving on the other side of the river. Suddenly Richard and Finn dove in different directions as an Overeryia plowed through the undergrowth, falling into the river.
"Richard? Finn?" shouted Lukas looking at his friends.
"Oh hey Lukas!" shouted Finn waving. "Hey Captain!"
"Well, we found two of them." sighed Mist. "Either if you know where Grimsley is?"
Finn and Richard looked at each other, and shook their heads.
"He's dead. He drowned taking that thing that sunk the ship down." explained Richard.
"He kept us safe from attack to the bitter end." added Finn. "Lukas, do you think you could make a bridge?"
"I can try, just give me minute." replied Lukas just barely above a whisper. He wiped a tear aside and froze a section of the river.
"You're getting the hang of it." laughed Finn running across.
"If I only was able to help, I'd of,"
"Lukas, no one could of saved him. He was protecting us from whatever that thing was." sighed Richard.
Mist, who was shocked by the loss of the little upstart, finally spoke. "He stole my title. He was a real captain, he went down with the ship to keep the crew alive." she growled. "Let's save that friend of his, as a final thing for Beat."
Everyone nodded, and had a moment of silence to honor their friend.
"Yeeaaaagggh!" screamed the boy as he felt a knife dig into his shoulder.
"Oh quit complaining. I'm saving your life!" growled Drake as he dug a fang out of the boys arm. "I must admit, I'm surprised to find you still breathing."
"Where did you take me?" roared the boy as the fang was removed.
"I didn't take you anywhere, I found you here." laughed Drake, sitting the boy up. You are lucky you have that staff still. And I found your little toy gun here also."
"So what purpose do I have to serve in order to repay you?"
"Smart boy." laughed Drake. "This is the void. Here you cam find portals to any world in existence. Any that get destroyed by Lord Drazo, somehow manage to start over at the beginning of their time. Look at this one."
"I'd rather not. How can I see these things now? When we entered we couldn't see anything!"
"Ah, that's because you only have a shard of a dimensional gem. If you had a whole one, like mine, you'd see everything."
"Thats interesting."
"Yes, and I want to tell you something. With the powers I've achieved, I could create a perfect world. One where all these worlds come together as one, without war, poverty, or crime. Where you could have met both sets of your parents and still meet all the friends you have. You only lose one thing, that little mark on your hand, Beat."
Beat sat still, trying to comprehend the offer. "What would I have to do?"
"I want you to kill Skull King's Sins. You managed to dispatch of Envy, and Gluttony was just about to arrive in Kayve. Prideful Jacob is leaving, and I want you to kill the replacement."
"But why can't you do it?"
"Because, this place is the only place I an not being watched by him. You were dragged here by the river, which is a natural gateway here. Their are many natural ways, such as the Lost Woods, in Hyrule. In a world where a majority of it's intelligent life lives on a place called Earth, a small place called the Bermuda Triangle. So many places link us to other worlds."
"So I do your dirty work, and I get a peaceful world?" asked Beat.
"Yes."
"You know, I'm not Finn. I will kill you if you betray me." growled Beat as he rose.
"I know. This is what I've wanted since I left my own world. I'd happily grant you your own happy world if I get to control my own."
"So the worlds you destroyed, are all,"
"Rebuilding themselves? Yes, slowly but surly. Oh I guess I should explain that whole how you traveled through time thing also. You see, your shard was mainly time, you traveled three years to get to Aeorobis, and then the same amount of time going back."
"So I can go back, to my own world by killing people I've been trying to kill?"
"Yes, just about the summary of my proposition."
"I'll do it."
"Oh here. I've seen people use these when their stressed." stated Drake tossing Beat a carton.
Beat took one of the rolls in it and put it to his mouth. "Am I supposed to eat this?"
"No, light the end you have away from your mouth, then take a puff. You then blow the smoke from your mouth." instructed Drake.
Beat pulled one out, and flicked his thumb to light it. He took a drag, and breathed out the smoke. "Thanks, I needed that."
"They're called cigarettes." stated Drake. "And I'd suggest hiding that Antriforce. After all someone may find you. Just wait. I will send you to that base after I hide that Antriforce for you. Oh and I almost forgot, Ganondorf died." laughed Drake.
Beat dropped the cigarette from his lips, and gasped. "Wait, you mean my friend is dead now?"
"Yeah." laughed Drake. "Isn't it great?"
Finn led the group along the river, headed toward the river source. Everyone had different thoughts now. Finn was trying to find a way to bring his friend back. Richard was reliving his days with Beat, remembering all the good times they had. Lukas tried to stay positive, thinking that would be what Beat wanted. Mist was upset, regretting the wish she had made mentally when he pointed out her little introduction mishap. Each had him in their thoughts, but one was starting to find a connection no one expected.

Oh so he's not dead? Make up my mind!
Chapter 11: At Last A Place To Stay! by MadSkillz
Author's Notes:
After long hours of tedious walking the party find a place to stay. I left out something there. Read to find out and review!
They were following the river because, according to Mist, all rivers lead to civilisation. Lukas and Mist were further ahead than Finn and Richard.
"Why are you like that?" Lukas asked Mist.
"Like what?" She replied.
"You always act tough, not
like a normal girl at all," Lukas said.
"You should talk to your captain with more-" Mist started.
"There you go again," Lukas sighed.
"Well, if you must know, Kane didn't take me in straight away when I was orphaned...I had to learn to toughen up and I guess it just stuck with me," Mist replied then stopped to rub her foot "My feet are sore from all this walking"
"Let me carry you," Lukas asked.
"No, I'm fine," She said but winced.
"Obviously not," Lukas replied and started carrying her in his arms. She started to squirm about and hit him on his chest, which didn't affect him.
"I told you not to carry me!" Mist shouted.
"Yeah well I'm doing it anyway, besides I know thats what you want," Lukas replied with a smirk on his face. She
then started to pout. Finn watched this with a smile
on his face. Lukas is really starting to bond with the
captain. He thought and yawned.
"How much longer do you think we have to walk Richard?" Finn asked.
"Not really sure but I do hope we get somewhere soon," Richard replied.
"Same here," Finn said and shouted to Mist,"Hey Captain!
Can we camp here?!"
"Just a little further, Finn I see a clearing!"
"Okay!"
And indeed there was a clearing. A large one, in fact,
the grass was at the same level and it seemed to go on
for a long distance. Lukas went to find those big leaves he found before and whilst he was away, Richard started a fire and Mist told them who was to keep watch first.
"Finn you're first in keeping watch, Richard you're second, Lukas will be third and I will be last, if anyone spots anything, wake up the others," Mist ordered.
"Aye aye captain!" Finn and Richard said in unison. Lukas
returned with a load of big leaves and set them on the
ground for them to take. Finn sat down in front of the fire with his back to it. A few minutes later a light
started shining on his right hand showing 3 triangles with
one upside down in the middle but the top triangle was glowing.
"What the-" Finn started before he passed out. He woke up in a place, where all around you was white and you couldn't see what you were standing on but you were standing on something.
"Where am I?" Finn asked though it was to no one.
"You're in the sacred realm," A woman with gerudo like skin with red hair said.
"Who are you?" Finn asked.
"My name is Din," Din replied.
"What?" Finn said and felt his anger boil up inside him.
"Finn, I know you must be angry-"
"Angry?! Angry?! I'm furious thats what!" Finn shouted and clenched his fists. He started walking up to Din,"How could you split me and my father up! What for?! What for?! Take your stupid Triforce of Power
back you bitch!"
"Finn calm down," Din said in a soothing voice.
"No way!" He shouted and attempted to punch Din but
she caught his fist.
"You must know the reason as to why we split you up," She
said and Finn found that he couldn't move his arms or legs
anymore.
"Now we only did that so that you could start your quest with Link, it was the only way," Din explained.
"Only way? How short sighted are you? You could've still
made meet up with Link and me still knowing my father! Do you know how much abuse I went through being with the stupid Kokiri?! No you don't do you?! They made
me cry just because I didn't have a fairy! Claire and Saria were the only nice ones to us! I was made to look stupid, every day! I spent most of my time in my tree house with Link because I didn't want to
face those nasty children, especially Mido!" Finn ranted.
"Well then accept the Triforce of Power as an apology," Din said trying to keep her cool.
"I'm probably gonna end up like Ganon," Finn muttered. "What was that?" She asked,
"I said I'm probably gonna end up like Ganon, you know the
power hungry fool that got defeated by the Hero of
Time?" Finn replied.
"He was being controlled by Skull King,"
"Oh please that guy? He's just a pile of bones I could kill him. In fact I don't how Beat hasn't killed him yet, he's nothing compared to Drake and Drazo,"
"Skull King is much more powerful than you think,"
"Yeah right,"
"Be careful Finn, three goddesses that are against you is not good and at this rate you'll end up just like
Drake," She said to him just before it all cleared away and Finn woke up looking at a clear blue sky. However Mist
saw that he was awake and was angry.
"Finn! How could you fall asleep on your watch!" She
shouted,"We could've died!"
"Mist I'm not in a good mood don't shout at me," Finn
replied.
"I don't care! I'm not in a good mood either!" Mist shouted some more.
"I said don't shout!" Finn shouted back and gripped the
handle of Lightbringer and brought his hand away as soon as he came back to his senses. Mist was a little frightened now.
"I'm sorry I just...had a bad dream," Finn replied more
calmly and then looked back at his right hand. The Triforce was still there. A few minutes later they started walking again. Richard came up to Finn.
"Talk with the goddesses?" He asked.
"With a goddess," Finn corrected,"And yeah, how did you know?"
"Because that was just like Beat, he passes out at the
randomest of times, too and he talks with someone normally," Richard replied.
"Yeah well I hope it doesn't happen again, ever, in fact I
don't even want this stupid Triforce of Power anyways,"
"You have the Triforce of Power?" Richard said shocked.
"Yeah why?"
"No reason, just a little surprised," Richard replied.
After an hour of walking Lukas spotted something. "Hey guys look at that! A city! A place to stay at last!" Lukas
said jumping in the air and fist pumping. After that he ran for it.
"Lukas wait up!" Finn shouted and ran after it aswell.Mist
and Richard followed behind. Close up to the city, was a
large gate and there were some guards in front of it.
"Halt! Who enters the city of Lazinou?" A guard asked.
"My name is Mist, young captain and this is my crew,"
Mist said adressing herself and then motioning to everyone
else.
"Okay you may go through," Another guard spoke and motioned to the guards behind the gate to open it.
Mist entered first, followed by Finn then Lukas, then Richard. Lazinou was large and busy.
There were several market stalls open and selling all kinds of various things and there were loads of people moving about on the streets.
"Kane told me about this place, I never knew it would be so big," Mist said looking around at everything, she bumped into someone and they said,"Hey watch it kid!"
"Sorry!" She replied.
They walked down some streets and turned a few places and an old woman shouted to them,"Hey kids come over here! You look tired, do you want some sleep?"
"Yes we do thanks," Mist replied.
"Come on in," She said and opened the door for them.
They entered her house or what they thought was their house but they came into a lobby for an inn.
"Now there are some rooms upstairs make yourselves comfortable," The old woman said with a smile and gave them two keys. One for mist the other one for Lukas, Finn
and Richard.
"Thank you," Mist said.
"My pleasure," replied the old woman. In their room, Lukas asked a question that had been on his mind for a long time.
"What now? I mean, Beat is dead and we have no idea
where his friend is," Lukas asked.
"I guess we just stay here for one night and then head over to Hyrule again," Richard suggested.
"Hmm...I thought staying here would yield more fruit but
nothing but bad things have happened to us," Finn said and
then he continued saying,"But Lukas you like Mist and don't even lie,"
"Yeah well don't tell Mist," Lukas said.
"Don't tell me what?" Mist said opening the door to the room. Lukas couldn't think up of anything to say so keep it from being awkward Finn said
"Don't tell Mist that we forgot to put out the fire in the
forest, darn,"
"Oh okay, well I just came to say tommorrow morning we
head back to my village," Mist replied, knowing fully well
that was a lie.
"What? Why?" Finn asked.
"There's nothing for us to do here and I want to go back
home," Mist answered and left the room.
"Whos gonna tell her that we plan to go home
tommorrow?" Finn asked. Outside their door MadSkillz
was eavesdropping. I can do that for you Finn. He thought
and left to pay the old woman.
For he went ahead of the party whilst they were sleeping and told her of them coming here.
Chapter 12: Let's Make A Deal by Beat15
Author's Notes:
I'm so confused about Beat. Why did I do this? Oh right this is where everyone tries to figure out what they're trying to do.
"I never thought I'd have to resort to stealing. But if what Drake said is true, it may help me." whispered Beat. He crept into the room where the boys were sleeping. "Hmm, Finn has Power. I guess I'll have to sleep in the Void to avoid alerting him."
Beat shut the door and sat in the hall. He took a cigarette out and lit it. He breathed in the smoke, and just seemed to relax. He went to the lobby, and found a large man sitting there.
"Hello." smiled Beat walking towards the door. An arrow then whizzed past his head.
"What were you doing up there?" shouted the man.
"Nothing that concerns you, sir." replied Beat coldly.
"You seem to have a dark spirit."
"Yes, now I'll be heading out. Oh, and thanks for saving Richard. He's a good guy, I'm glad he'll get to live longer."
"Wait, are you?" stammered the man.
"I'm not Beat Grimsley, he died. I am going by a new name, and have a new face. Look my curse won't even show up." laughed Beat. "Seeya, Madskillz." sighed Beat as he walked out the door.
"He survived?" gasped the man as he watched the boy leave.
Beat arrived in the Void, and stood before Drake.
"Heres the damn shard. I need sleep now."
"Why not stay there?" sighed Drake.
"I don't want to get trampled in my sleep." snapped Beat.
"I'll get to work fixing this. But remember, kill those sins." reminded Drake.
"Go to hell." muttered Beat as he drifted into sleep.
Finn and Richard woke up to find Lukas digging through everything.
"What's wrong with him?" yawned Richard.
"I lost the shard!" sobbed Lukas grabbing Finn.
"What? We're stuck here?" gasped Finn.
Mist then opened the door and walked in. "All of you shut up. I need my sleep, and I will have the next one who makes a sound go resurface my ship."
The threat worked, because they all shut up afterwards.
After their captain had gotten her sleep she decided to get some supplies. They gathered a map and some lanterns, along with a compass. As they finished gathering what Mis wanted they were called over by a fortune teller.
"Hmmm, I see great sorrow in your past, Finn." sighed the fortune teller. "Listen to Grim, I cam see what you've suffered through, betrayal, loneliness, loss of a friend. By fear not, your friends with you now will remain safe." ensured Grim.
"How do you know my name?" asked Finn looking a the the strange boy.
"I know each of you, Richard, Mist, Lukas. They each are known by me." laughed the boy. "You will find your path to be long if you want to travel a short distance."
Everyone of them stopped to look at the pale skinny boy.
"And for all of you who hate riddles, you're going to have to travel far to get where you want to." laughed the boy. "Oh look at the time, I must be leaving." gasped the boy gathering his wears. "You must go where you dreaded going." shouted the boy as he ran off carrying his items. "Goodbye."
"Was anybody else freaked out by that guy?" asked Lukas.
"I think we all were." sighed Finn.
"You idiot! What are you doing?" shouted Drake as Beat returned. "You're going to miss your chance!"
"Relax. Clovis is already taken care of. So is Chesterfield." sighed Beat counting on his fingers. "That's three of his sins dead. Now only he and Jacob remain, along with lust. I did my work faster than it needed to be done."
"You've already killed them?"
"Yeah. Now I hope you can prevent this world from being crushed." growled Beat looking at a web of worlds. "Cybitril is where Zachari is." he muttered.
"You've done well. Relax. Eat."
"I was planning on doing it there. As long as I'm awake no messages. I don't use the goddesses names anymore either. No one will be able to notice me as long as I'm awake."
Mist led her crew back to her home, using the supplies she had gotten. Finn and Richard were kind of relieved they were leaving, but Lukas didn't seem to enjoy returning to Hyrule.
"We can't go back. We should stay here." sighed Lukas to his two friends.
"Oh really?" asked a man who was taller than Richard.
"Ma, mad, Madskillz?" stuttered Richard.
"Arthur, please call me Arthur." corrected the man.
Finn stood still, shocked to see his father again. He stepped forward and ran to embrace him. But was tripped by Mist.
"Yeah real touching, family reunion. I want to go home, so I'm leaving with, or without you." she growled.
"Hahaha. You wish to see other worlds, and find things far beyond Kayve's limits. You want to travel and find a new place to set sail. Just stay with these boys and you'll find it. Plus, I know where you can find a way to see where you're going in the Void."
"Where do we need to go?" asked Richard.
"Upriver to the lake where the river starts at. There is a building there that houses a map of the Void. You must enter there and find the map." explained Arthur.
"So we get in, grab the map, and get out." sighed Finn.
"We could do it." nodded Lukas.
"Yeah, we can do this, we just need to find the base now." agreed Richard.
"Hey, hey, hey! I'm the captain, you can't go anywhere without me!" growled Mist.
"Aye cap'n. You can join us, if you don't mind being away from home." laughed Lukas.
"Fine, count me in." sighed Mist with a smile.
"Aright, I kill lust and Jacob, then we both take down Skull King. Right?"
"Right." confirmed Drake.
"I'm counting on you to keep your promise." added Beat.
"Just get the job done, then we'll talk." snapped Drake.
Beat strolled up to the rift that would take him to the area around the base. He knew he was going to be in a hell of a fight today.
End Notes:
God damn me. Why did I make Beat so complicated.
Chapter 13: Voyage To The Void Map by MadSkillz
Author's Notes:
The party now set sail up to the building that I talked about. Also we find out what Zachari needs to do.
R&R please!
"Now before we leave I'd like to inform Kane of my departure first," Mist told her crew and went inside her house and later came back with Kane.
"I'm coming this time," Kane said.
"You have to stay here, Kane," Mist replied.
"Not anymore besides, you sailed them down the wrong river Mist," Kane reminded her.
"No I didn't it I-" Mist started.
"Yes you did, the river you were supposed to travel down is safe, except if you fall off then you're pretty much dead," Kane interrupted.
"Can I still stay as Captain?" Mist pleaded.
"No, I'll be the Captain from now on," Kane snapped.
"How about I be Captain? I own my very own ship back in Hyrule, Majestic Beauty," Arthur suggested.
"Fine. Whatever as long as Mist isn't. I don't want her causing these lot anymore trouble," Kane said.
Mist looked down at the floor and began walking to another ship with everyone else. Finn walked over to her and asked,"So you really lead us down the wrong river?"
"Shut it Finn before I trip you again," she growled.
"Leave her alone Finn," Lukas said.
"Yeah you would say that wouldn't you?" Finn replied.
"Shut up Finn," Lukas growled.
"Just stating the facts," Finn said nonchalantly.
They walked on the ship and already found a crew working there. The boys were relieved but Mist wasn't. She enjoyed being the leader.
"Listen up everyone! This is Arthur! He shall be your captain for this ride upstream," Kane informed the crew.
"Yes sir!" They shouted in unison, saluting then going back to their duties.
"Arthur how long will this take?" Richard asked.
"About 3 days tops, if nothing bothers us," Arthur replied and then he continued laughing,"I bet you guys are happy Mist isn't bossing you around anymore eh?"
They laughed nervously and glanced at Mist who shook her head and walked off in frustrastion. Kane walked over to them.
"Don't worry she'll get better by tommorrow, Lukas I suggest you be the only one to speak to her, I understand that you two have...bonded together," Kane said and winked at Lukas and continued speaking to everyone,"Now let me show you your rooms"
He lead them down two floors, across three corridors and there were a row of doors leading to rooms there.
"Okay the first door is Finn's, the second is Lukas' and the last is for Richard. Arthur will be in the captains quarters and I will be staying upstairs got that?"
"Yes," they said in unison.
Finn walked up to his door, opened it and merely threw his weapons in there and closed the door. He walked into Lukas' room. He was lying down on his bed looking at the ceiling.
"You should probably talk to Mist now and cheer her up," Finn told Lukas.
"I know, I just don't know where she is on this ship," Lukas sighed.
"She's on the top deck looking at the water, before we left thats where I saw her last,"
"Thanks man, see ya,"
"Bye, if I'm needed I'll be in my room resting," Finn yawned and left the room at the same time as Lukas. Lukas ran up to the top deck and just before he got to Mist he straightened his clothes and even asked a crew member how he looked. They said he looked great so he walked to Mist.
"What are you thinking about?" Lukas asked.
"This adventure I'm joining you on is dangerous," Mist sighed.
"I know it is, it claimed Beat's life," Lukas replied.
"Sorry for being hard on you guys, I just...I just feel a bit guilty," Mist said.
"Guilty about what?" Lukas asked.
"You know when Beat pointed out that little upskirt mishap, I wished he would die for humiliating me in front of you guys," Mist told him.
Lukas had to keep from smiling because that little incident was still a bit funny "Don't worry about it, nobody else will die, I will make sure of it,"
"You will?" Mist said with some hope in her voice.
"Yep feeling better?" Lukas replied.
"Yes, thank you," Mist said and hugged him. "I'm going to my room now, if I'm needed-"
"Knock first," Lukas finished for her,"I know"
She smiled and walked off. MadSkillz came and patted him on the back.
"Well done," He said.
"Thanks, you know, talking to you is a little like talking to Finn," Lukas told him.
"Yeah well like father, like son right?" Arthur replied.
"I guess, I wonder how Zachari is doing," Lukas said before walking off.
"So you're Zachari?" a man asked Zachari.
"Yes, Mason told me that there was something you needed help with?" Zachari reminded him.
"Oh yes right, my name is Jack by the way, so anyways we need you to join our rebellion," Jack informed him.
"Against what?"
"These skeletal warriors that appeared a few days ago," Jack said showing him some pictures.
"I know these things!" Zachari said surprised.
"Really? Well every time we destroyed them they just reformed,"
"Did you try burning their bones?"
"No, why?"
"Thats the only way to kill them,"
"Anyways these skeletal warriors starting burning down some of our towns and Mason told me you have wings and a strange weapon,"
"Oh these wings?" Zachari said and spread them out then he continued,"And my weapon is a gun, it fires bullets that can pierce through skin very easily"
"Hmm...we need to get you to base to talk with our leader," Jack said and continued saying,"But that will have to wait till two days from now because these skeletons have blocked our roads leading to our base"
"Wow,"
"Yeah and right now we could use an extra man, tommorrow we strike,"
Finn woke up back in the Sacred Realm again. He became annoyed.
"Din?!" He shouted.
Surely enough Din appeared before him and Finn felt the anger boil up again.
"What did I tell you!? I hate you Goddesses! All of you!"
"Finn, I'm only here to tell you two things," Din said,"Being the wielder of the Triforce of Power allows you to use all of Lightbringer's abilities without getting tired and it also lets you use your Mad Bow without actually becoming crazy"
"Yeah wow so much more I can do with the Triforce of Power that I couldn't do already," Finn said sarcastically.
"You know what, fine I can take that power away from you if you really don't want it, I was going to add that it lets you be able have magical powers and increases your strength but I can take it away just by clicking my fingers," Din growled and was about to click her fingers when Finn stopped her.
"No wait! Will I be able to teleport again?" Finn asked.
"Yes,"
"Please don't take it away, I will try to behave when you Goddesses are talking to me,"
"Thats more like it, let me teach you," Din replied and began to teach Finn some simple magical spells, she started off by teaching him how to fire a magical blast and how to teleport. Once he mastered them both Din waved to him goodbye and told him
"Just say Red Spirit if you need any help,"
Finn nodded and he woke up in bed. He yawned. He got out of bed and walked to the Captains quarters and knocked on the door.
"Come in!" A man said from inside.
Finn opened the door to find his father sitting at a desk looking at a chart.
"Dad how long left?" He asked.
"Well not long, look behind you," Arthur replied. Finn turned around to see the building that his father was talking about. The building that housed the map to see through the void.
"Soo about forty-five minutes?" He asked.
"Forty-five minutes yes," Arthur replied,"You know, it won't be easy inside there, its got mazes and puzzles and riddles and many different types of monsters, this is the dangerous part"
"Sounds just like the place that had the Sacred Sword inside it,"
"Its nothing like that place, this is very different Finn, very different, go tell your friends to get prepared for this place and tell them what I told you, thats an order," Arthur ordered his son.
"Yes father!" Finn said and ran off to tell the others.
That boy sure is ready for a challenge. Reminds me of when I was younger, then again he is my son after all. Arthur thought.
Chapter 14: Life Threatening Mazes, Oh Joy by Beat15
Author's Notes:
The first step into Jacob's fortress. A dungeon full of monsters, mayhem, and mystery.
Kane had everyone gather in the galley for the final plans. Mist was still a little saddened so she sat away from the bulk of the crowd. Lukas stayed close trying to cheer her up.
"This maze will be filled to the brim with things that can kill us. We need to use all we've got to survive." announced Kane.
"I'd like to see Richard, Finn, Kane, Mist, and Lukas in the captain's quarters." requested Arthur walking away.
They all followed him to his room and waited as he got the key to unlock it. But the door seemed to open on it's own.
"Come in." ordered a brisk voice.
"Real funny, this is the captain's room, get out!" growled Kane.
"Oh? Then come in and remove me." laughed the voice.
"With pleasure." growled the armored man as he stepped into the room.
"Wait! Something's up." Richard warned. "Look at Finn's hand, it's glowing. That only glows when near holders of the Triforce or Antriforce. Link and Zelda are in Hyrule. So he must hold an Antriforce piece." he explained.
"Ha, very good Richard. I do hold a piece of the Amtriforce. I hold Rage." laughed the voice.
Everyone who had traveled with Beat knew he held Rage, so this must be the new holder. He seemed like a monster.
"All of you enter and stand before the desk." ordered this holder of Rage.
They all obeyed silently, waiting for something to happen. The room was dark, and had two dim torches illuminating the room. As the man turned in the chair the flames grew.
"I am Beat Grimsley, Guardian of the Spirits, Gerudo Prince, and Holder of Rage. Now added to the list of titles, Ghost."
"What the..." gasped the small audience.
Richard stammered and stepped back. Kane dropped his knife. Mist fainted, and Lukas caught her and kept her upright. Finn and his father looked to each other and just stood there.
"Oh, Red Spirit, could you inform Din of my return?" asked Beat staring to the shadow behind the door.
Red Spirit emerged from the shadow, and clapped his hands. "You've gotten better at finding me."
"Well I watched you go into that corner."
"Wait, how'd you both get in this locked room?" snapped Kane.
"Picked the lock." replied Beat looking to the speaker. "Or at least picked up the pieces. I kinda broke it, then melted the pieces back together. You may want to make a new key to fit it."
Mist woke up and stood where she was just shocked.
"Oh yeah, I guess I should clear this up now, I didn't 'die' because of Mist. I did that little stunt o keep you all alive." reassured Beat. "It really was weird, I saw all the people who passed. My mother, Ivy, quite a few old friends, I was happy. But then I had it all yanked away from me. But I was made an offer by the devil, I kill a few certain people, and I can reshape the worlds, and create peace in all of them."
"We can help you do it!" volunteered Lukas.
"I don't know." sighed Finn.
"Ah!" shouted Beat. "Ugh, just a dream. Wait, they already went into that labyrinth! Shut I've gotta go clear it for them!" gasped Beat running through his entry way.
"Red Spirit, keep my presence a secret." shouted Beat as he entered with his guardian spirit.
"No need to worry. Let's get going."
The maze was already confusing everyone in the crew. They had left a small group to watch the ship, and entered with all weapons ready and drawn.
The first turn they found a skeleton, sitting in armor.
"Careful, that may be a Bone Soldier!" warned Richard.
After he said that it started to move, but before it could strike it burst into flames.
"Who did that?" asked Lukas looking around.
"I have no idea." yawned Finn, "But thanks to whoever did that."
Beat stood mixed with the large group and smiled. "Finally got some thanks." he thought to himself. "I should have had Drake make me a way right to Jacob. I don't like this maze."
Arthur was leading the group, and had to pulled back by one of the crew members as an axe on a pendulum swung right past where he was a moment ago.
"Watch your head sir." laughed the boy.
"Thank you," started Arthur.
"Grim, Grim Beta." replied the boy. He smiled as he pulled a cigarette out. He pulled a match out and struck it against the glove he wore on his left hand.
"You're the boy from the inn!" gasped Arthur.
"Yes sir. I was looking for work, but the hotel was kicking me out, so I was leaving early." explained the boy.
"Alright we turn back now!" ordered Kane.
"No, we haven't met any forks in the path yet, we just need to disconnect the pendulum. Then we can move on." pointed out Finn.
"Any ideas?" sighed Richard looking to the massive crew.
"I have one." laughed Red Spirit as he dropped from the ceiling.
"Oh great, you again." moaned Lukas.
"Who's he?" asked Mist.
"A guardian of those holding any of Din's powers. He mainly protected Beat." explained Richard.
"A fine good job he did too." muttered Lukas.
"I can't help if I'm needed by my employer. Besides, he seemed like he wanted to die." shrugged Red Spirit. "Now can I explain my idea?"
"Fine, do it." grunted Kane.
"Somebody could grab onto the pole, and climb up and pull the thing keeping it attached off. But I just feel like I should stay so I can protect my new charge." explained the spirit.
"I can go." volunteered Grim. "I can do it."
"Fine Grim can go." nodded Arthur.
"Alright, showtime." laughed Grim.
Beat laughed merrily behind his mask. This guy may have been a thief in Aeorbis, but hell, this body made him unrecognizable. He still had his unique gold eyes, and he could still use his magic, so it was ok.
He jumped up towards the axe and clung to the pole that was continually swinging, creating a very narrow chance of passing. He climbed up slowly, trying to avoid hitting the wall.
"So I just disconnect this thing?" he asked as he swung back and forth.
"Yeah Grim, just pull the hinge holding it in out." shouted Arthur.
"Easier said than done. I need to melt this or something." shouted Beat in his disguise.
"Hmmm, melt it?" thought Finn. "Din had given me some spells, I wonder if I could melt the blade."
"Hey, some kind of snake thing is coming this way!" shouted Grim.
Sure enough a giant purple snakelike creature came flying towards them.
"Dragon!" shouted Richard. "Everyone get agains the walls!"
"Shit." muttered Grim as he was carried off with the giant axe. He dropped the mask and made small purple flames circle it. "Another faked death." he sighed, then cupped his hands around his mouth and shouted "Go on without me!"
The dragon dropped him, and turned quickly, revealing metal plating around it's face. It lifted it's head, preparing to breath fire.
"Din's shield." sighed Beat as red ice blocked the path he was carried down.
"What the hell was that thing?" shouted the crew.
"People calm down, we need to move forward." reassured Arthur.
"What about that Grim kid? He was taken by that thing." reminded Kane.
"He said to keep going. We'll do what he asked." replied Finn. "Besides, that thing should've cleared a few traps."
Jacob sat in his control room, watching his visitors traverse his maze. He decided to check on the experimental dragon hybrid they had made and gasped at what he saw through it's robotic eyes.
"Grimsley?!? This isn't possible, it's a trick! I saw him die! That has to be someone wearing a spirit mask! He died!" shouted Jacob.
"Strange. If you want to keep Skull King believing you killed him you should have that boy executed now." yawned his visitor, who was considered Lust by Skull King.
"Quiet Anise, this is my fight!"snapped Jacob.
"Pride is very sinful, you should swallow it and accept the help." advised Drake.
"Shut up. I'm going to kill that boy myself." growled Jacob as he prepared to open a portal.
"Is that wise? Say it is Grimsley, has he not beaten you several times, when he was unarmed and injured greatly?" teased Anise.
"It only happened twice." muttered Jacob.
Beat gritted his teeth, focusing on how to beat this thing. "Purple fire is stopped by green ice, so oh shit!" gasped Beat as he jumped out of the way of green flames being blown from the monsters mouth. "Get the color code right!" shouted Beat.
"I don't know if you're really Beat Grimsley, but I am ordered to kill you regardless." grated the dragon with a metallic voice.
"Sorry to disappoint you, but I have no intentions of dying again." snarled Beat.
Finn was amazed by the carnage that was left behind by the dragon. Bones left smoldering, monsters with scorch marks and slash marks. He noticed that several cuts were smaller than others.
"The monster seemed to have someone assisting it." muttered Richard noting the small slashes. "They look like thin blade marks, perhaps a rapier."
"So something or someone was triggering traps ahead of us." added Finn.
"What could have done this?" muttered Lukas poking one of the sizzling bones with the rapier he had been given by Beat.
"Well, let's keep going ahead." suggested Red Spirit.
"You seem different somehow." replied Richard. "You're not as secretive and you seem to have a different attitude."
"Well, let's see, now isn't the time for riddles. And I want these damn bone creatures wiped from the face of these worlds." snarled Red Spirit.
"He's also more aggressive." muttered Richard.
If only they could see who was behind the mask of The Red Spirit, they'd be even more frightened by the man. Because behind the mask was Beat Grimsley.
Chapter 15: I can see through the void! by MadSkillz
Author's Notes:
Well I'm not telling you whats in this chapter. Read to find out and once you've done that review.
The crew came up to a large door, with a sign next to it that read:
To pass you must first answer this riddle or else you shall die
What gets wetter everytime it dries?
"Thats easy its a towel," Mist answered.
"Wow Mist you must be smart," Finn said a bit sarcastically.
"Not really, its just a really easy riddle a baby could solve that," Mist yawned.
They all passed through the door and in his console room Jacob was angry.
"Damnit!" He yelled.
"Well that riddle was quite easy Jacob. She was right a baby can solve that but I think even an ant could solve that," Drake said.
This got Jacob even more enraged"I will kill them!"
"If you say so, you know you're starting look like you have rage," Drake replied.
"Oh what the hell," Finn said looking at the swinging axes and the spike wheeles rolling in the floor. Behind them bones started formed into the frame of a person in armour. Mist screamed and they backed up close to the first swinging axe. Finn used Din's Fire to wipe out most of the bone soldiers. Richard and 'Red Spirit' were working together taking on their bunch of bone soldiers. Lukas was protecting Mist from the bone soldiers that tried to get to her and Kane and Arthur were working together taking down their bunch of bone soldiers. When the axe had swung to the far side they ran across and past the rest of the obstacles. The obstacles had taken care of the remaining bone soldiers but not for long as their bones started to re-form.
"Qucikly through the door!" Finn shouted and they all ran through the door and sighed. What lay ahead was a dark corridor that had strange sounds coming from it.
"So who wants to go down first?" Lukas asked. Mist rolled her eyes and walked first, followed by Richard then, 'Red Spirit' who was followed by, Finn who was followed by, Arthur who was followed by, Kane.
In his console room Jacob rubbed his hands together smiling menacingly.
"Ha! They've fallen into this corridor! This corridor has some of the most fearsest monsters ever!" Jacob laughed.
"Really? Because all I see are small lizards littered all over the place nothing like the monster in the sacred sword temple," Drake said toying with Jacob.
"Aha but these lizards when cut in half only make more lizards! Only water can defeat them," Jacob snapped.
"You idiot Lukas can use water," Drake sighed. "You've been too bent on Beats destruction you forgot about his ability,"
"He has no source of water," Jacob replied.
"He has a bottle of water given to him by Red Spirit,"
"Lets see you do better,"
"I can and actually you've given me a really good idea..."
"Damn these lizards!" Kane shouted. Everytime he cut one another one just popped out and the other one would just die. They were soon surrounded by them and struggling not to be harmed by them. Finn's spells didn't harm them and nothing seemed to be working. Lukas, instead of using his rapier, decided to switch to using his water from the bottle Red Spirit gave him. He threw it at the lizards in front of him and they started to burn and melt.
"Hey guys-!" Lukas started.
"What?" Richard replied. When there was no response they started to try to look for Lukas but it was hard as they could but couldn't find him. They soon found that 'Red Spirit' had dissappeared too.
"Where could they have gone?" Kane asked, but really it was a thought he was voicing.
"I don't know, first lets get out of here," Arthur ordered. They ran at full pace down the corridor. There were more traps but they got encased in a strange red ice. Nobody seemed to notice but Finn.
Everybody except Arthur was out of breath at the end of the corridor.
"How...how are you...how are you not out of...out of breath," Finn said breathlessly.
"Son, I'm dissappointed, I thought you'd be in better form," Arthur replied nonchalantly.
"I...I am but...no human...should be able to...run that far...without getting...out of breath," Finn said,"Anybody else notice...the red ice?"
"What red ice?" Richard who had now recovered said.
"Finn you must be going crazy," Mist who had also recovered replied.
"Okay then, if you say so," Finn said, though he still thought it was weird no-one but him noticed the red ice.
"Look," Arthur said walking up to the raised bit of platform in the room the corridor lead to. There was a black rectangular piece floating in mid air. "The void map"
They all started to walk up to it. As they got closer they saw that the piece actually had a circular hole in it where a blue orb was floating. There were wows and nice's said when they all saw it.
However when Arthur took it, the corridor behind them sealed shut and the same monster from the Sacred Sword Temple came down.
The monster that came before them was huge, brown scales all over its body, two massive wings on back and a tail that had spikes on the end. It roared an ear-splitting roar and shot a fireball at them.
"There's nothing that can penetrate that thing's skin! Run!" Finn shouted and they ran in different directions. Finn bumped into his father.
"Finn you have to hit the top of its head, its the only way," Arthur told him, the monster was currently focused on Richard, who was trying to get away.
"What? Are you crazy? Have you seen that thing?" Finn replied.
"You have to do it, get on its tail and climb," Arthur said.
"Alright," Finn replied and ran off and grabbed the monsters tail and started to climb, using it's scales to climb to the top. The monster noticed this and tried to shake Finn off but he had good grip. Finn eventually made it to the top but that was due to his friends distracting the monster and testing if what Finn said was true. He was on the back of that monster and thought to himself, I can teleport now so whats use of walking accross its back?
He teleported on the top of its head. The was a big red dot at the top that looked like a bold patch for it. He stabbed Lightbringer through the dot and the eyes of the monster lit up and when the light was gone the monster died.
He teleported off of its head and onto the ground. A teleport pad appeared right next to Finn and everybody got on it and it teleported them back onto the ship.
Mist looked like she was about to cry.
"Mist-" Kane started and she but she ran off to her room.
"I'll go talk to her," Finn said and walked off in the direction she ran in.
"Tommorrow Kane we'll be leaving, with Mist," Arthur informed him.
"With Mist?" Kane replied.
"Yeah she wanted to come and she and Lukas seem like they like eachother alot," Arthur said.
"She has no weapon or knowledge of how to fight,"
"I'll teach her, don't worry she'll be safe with us,"
"Yeah real safe, look what happened to Lukas,"
"Drake did that, I can always tell when something is Drake's doing or not, he's probably kidnapped him," Arthur replied. "I really should've killed that guy when I had the chance"
Chapter 16: Payback's A Bitch by Beat15
Author's Notes:
What happened after everyone left? Find out now!
Jacob snapped. He ripped his monitor off the wall and threw it across the room. He pulled out a bone hilt and pointed it at Drake.
"You… you did this! You brought such a simply defeated creature! Mine were all advanced, mixed with dragon blood! They shouldn't have been killed so easily!" screamed Jacob.
"Put that pot-sticker away. You had as many mistakes as you could. I on the other hand made none. Everything is as I wanted, Anise is in Cybitril, and we have Kayve to ourselves!" laughed Drake. "Forget Skull King, I can give you your own world. Just become my knight."
"Never, I pledged my life to my king!" roared Jacob, the blade growing out of the hilt.
"Oh dear. Then I guess you'll be dying soon. Adieu." sighed Drake opening a rift. "Kayve will be your grave. Oh look I'm a poet, hahahaha!" laughed Drake as he stepped into it.
"What an idiot, he thinks I'll die here?" spat Jacob.
"Well you thought I died here." whispered a voice in his ear. "This place will claim an Antriforce owners life. I didn't die and you know your king isn't here, so I guess it's you." laughed the voice.
Jacob gasped as he turned to face Beat Grimsley.
"Great, now I'll get to take your piece!" laughed Jacob hysterically.
"But which of us has the piece?" asked another voice identical to the others. This voices owner dropped from the ceiling. Now a second Beat stood before him.
"What is going on? Two of you?" gasped Jacob.
"No, only one has the Antriforce. But one is leaving, right Red?" yawned the second one.
"Right." nodded the first removing his mask, revealing the red spirit mask. He pulled his cloak over his face and vanished.
"Alright Jacob, time to end our little dispute." laughed Beat cracking his knuckles.
Drake watched the fight with grim satisfaction. He slowly walked over to his bound captive. Lukas sat hunched over, a gag covering his mouth. He was unconscious and didn't seem to be waking up anytime soon.
"All is coming together as I planned. Grimsley will kill the Sins, we team up and crush the Skull King, and then I destroy Beat. No one is my equal, I only have one person to fear, and that is Lord Drazo." laughed Drake coldly. "And no one will find you here my little captive. This is one place no one can enter, without me."
"Burn in hell." wheezed Lukas.
"Oh? Awake are we?" asked Drake in surprise.
"Where am I?" growled Lukas.
"You're in my first step to creating my perfect world. This is Drakos, my world I created. Impressive isn't it?" laughed Drake.
"It looks like shit." spat Lukas.
"Hmm, you're right. There's no life or scenery here. Just black emptiness. I guess I'll have to get a few more things to make it my perfect world." sighed Drake. "Oh wait, I don't give a damn about your opinion." spat Drake kicking Lukas.
"Where're my friends?" demanded Lukas.
"Oh them? They managed to get the map. And it looks like Mist seemed to move on quickly. Look." laughed Drake widening his hands creating a viewing window.
Lukas looked inside and saw Finn smiling and holding Mist close to him. She seemed to be laughing, because she was smiling also. They were in her room sitting on her bed.
"They don't even care I'm gone?" gasped Lukas. "They're not even worried?"
"Don't worry, I'm sure your girlfriend really worried about you," Drake teased closing his hands.
Lukas felt the tears rolling down his face, he focused on them trying to make them go to his chains.
"Ah, no no no! No crying." laughed Drake wiping the tears from Lukas's face.
"Why did you take me captive?" growled Lukas.
"To make an offer with you." smiled Drake cruelly.
Finn sat with Ivy, comforting her. The group couldn't catch a break. First Beat and now Lukas. Who's next, Richard?
"Did he really tell you that?" laughed Mist sadly.
"Yeah, he told us how he felt about you. He must have felt that way ever since we met you." sighed Finn. "I mean I…" started Finn before falling to the floor.
"Oh my! Finn, are you ok?" gasped Mist shaking Finn.
Finn awoke standing next to Din. She seemed happy, for some strange reason.
"What are you so giddy about? I just lost my best friend!" roared Finn.
"Oh? But your brother is alive." laughed Din.
"Brother? I have no brother!" spat Finn.
"Idiot, she means Beat!" hissed Red Spirit stepping next to him.
"Beat? He's alive?" gasped Finn.
"Mhmm. He's in the building you just left." replied Din.
"We have to bring him here. I have to tell the people on the ship!"
"No, Beat doesn't want to be around us. He is intent on killing Jacob. You may watch with us." invited Red Spirit.
"Fine." muttered Finn.
The control room was silent for a split second as the enemies stared at each other. Then hell broke loose. Right as Jacob raised his hand to blast Beat with Fear, red ice encased his hand. Jacob felt the magic explode inside, filling his own body with fear.
"Damn you, why can't you ever stay dead? How many times is this now?" growled Jacob.
"I think it's my third." laughed Beat. He had no weapons drawn yet, but was focusing his anger and energy on keeping the ice on his arm.
"You won't leave this place alive!" roared Jacob shattering his red ice holder.
"Let's go!" howled Beat dashing forward.
He narrowly dodged a swipe from his foes sword, tackling Jacob to the floor. As Beat flipped off of Jacob, flames filled the room.
"Trying to scare me?" laughed Jacob.
"No, I am trying to kill you." replied Beat cruelly. He jumped onto a desk, and kicked the boxes sitting on it a it his enemy. Right after each box shattered he made them burst into flames, making burning shrapnel flying through the room. Jacob rolled under each one. He drew a second bone hilt, and had the blade grow out, so he now held two swords with a cruel hook at the end of the blades.
"Come get some!" taunted Jacob.
"With pleasure!" growled Beat.
He dashed towards Jacob, but vanished right in front of him in a flare of fire. He then reappeared behind Jacob and elbowed him in his spine as hard as he could.
"Agghhhhhh!" shrieked Jacob in pain. He felt the bone shatter inside him. He still stood trying to fight, panting doggedly.
"Give up now and I'll make it painless." offered Beat.
"Like I'd surrender to you!" spat Jacob.
"Oh well." sighed Beat. Beat drew a katana much like Kane's, but longer. "Time to carve you apart."
"Bring it you freak!" howled Jacob charging at Beat.
"Tsk." chided Beat as he made one long slash with the blade.
Jacob stood and stared at the weapon, and watched a single drop of blood fall from the blade. Right when the droplet hit the floor did Jacob realize what had happened. He screamed in pain as his right hand fell to the floor, severed from his arm.
"Surrender!" roared Beat.
"Burn in hell!" screamed Jacob.
"Damn it, I'm done playing with you!" howled Beat punching Jacob in his stomach.
Jacob flew across tue room and broke through the wall. There he laid in a room filled with vials and blood samples.
"Thank you, you just gave me the help I needed." laughed Jacob staggering to a table covered in bottles of green liquid filling them.
"Is that?" gasped Beat.
"Dragon's Blood!" laughed Jacob, pouring the liquid down his throat. He drank three vials, and grew darker in skin tone. His right hand grew back, but with red scales covering it, and claws grew where he once had fingernails. His face changed shape looking more like a dragon than a human. His eyes glowed yellow, and he grew horns and wings.
"I know how much you love dragons Grimsley!" laughed Jacob.
"Damn it all to hell!" roared Beat. He shot his hand out and held it with his fingers bent to show his palm with his ring finger sticking out. "Din's Imprisonment!" he roared creating layers of the strange colored ice. Red, gold, green, purple, and finally ending with regular ice.
"Oh no I'm stuck." yawned Jacob before emitting an earsplitting howl. Suddenly the layers of ice all melted, leaving no trace of their origins. "I'm using different types of dragon blood, I've got the strongest traits from all of them! This is how we made those creatures more aggressive. Dragon blood!" laughed the dragon Jacob.
"Like I give a damn!" shouted Beat. He jumped and slashed down at Jacob, slicing a horn in half. He then turned and slashed the wings, making it impossible for Jacob to even attempt to fly. Blood splattered across the floor and Beat's clothes.
"I won't die! As long as fear exists I'll live on!" laughed Jacob insanely, breathing black fire.
"Oh really? Because I believe I'll own Fear once you're dead." laughed Beat. He brought the blade down, severing the arm that held the Antriforce.
"Yeeaaagghh!" screamed Jacob.
Beat brought the edge of the blade down, and pierced Jacob's skull. Blood coated Beat's clothing, and he didn't care. His most hated enemy was dead. And he felt himself losing all fears he had leaving. "Now there's only two left. Anise, Skull King's sin of lust, and Skull King himself. But then there's Drake. I doubt he'll keep his end of the deal." sighed Beat sitting down. He pulled out a cigarette and lit it. He took a long drag and examined his gruesome work. He sighed and stood up. He saw a window and decided to jump through it, but before he jumped out he sent one of his most dangerous spells through the building. He rolled onto the ground, and watched the building slowly being swallowed by the flames. "Din's Demon. That's what I should be called. But then again, now I'm Nayru's demon also." sighed Beat flicking out his cigarette. "It's a long walk back to the Void. Drake should have taught me how to make those rifts."
"Where's the fun in that?" laughed Drake stepping through a rift behind Beat. "You should go back to your friends. They lost Lukas, they need some good news."
"Lukas?" gasped Beat. He watched his friends like a hawk, he had put that spell around them before he jumped through the rift provided by Drake to find Jacob. "How?"
"Jacob had his own ways of traveling. He sent Lukas through a rift to a new world. But enough about him. You need to help your friends. I suggest going to Cybitril, there you'll find Anise and Zachari. Now get going, I'm not sending you straight to them." ordered Drake.
Beat nodded and sprinted off towards where the ship was headed for. He knew how to use the map. It it required going down the river that "killed" him.
Finn didn't stay to watch the entire fight, he demanded they let him wake up so he could inform the others about Beat.
Nobody believed him. Even Richard doubted it. And he lived with the madness caused by Beat.
"Sorry Finn, Beat's visited death quite a few times, and he always seemed less like himself each time. But he could never swim that well, so drowning was an easy way for him to die." sighed Richard.
"Hey, boys! The trees up ahead are rustling!" shouted Kane pointing to the shaking trees.
"Permission to come aboard!" shouted a voice familiar to Richard.
"Show yourself!" roared Kane.
"I'll take that as a permission granted." laughed the voice as it's owner dropped down from the tree onto the deck. "Hey guys." smiled Beat, standing on the deck with blood dripping from various cuts on him.
"No way!" gasped Richard.
"So Din wasn't toying with me." sighed Finn.
"What's going on? You're acting like I died." yawned Beat. "Now excuse me, I need a place where I can get these cuts cleaned."
Many of the crew had no idea who this kid was, so they just ignored him.
The person most surprised was Mist. She was walking to the galley to get a quick bite to eat, when she saw Beat wiping blood from his body. He turned to look at her and smiled.
"Hey there." he greeted.
"You're alive?" gasped Mist.
"Uh-huh." nodded Beat. "I guess I just needed to do sone work for a demon before I could see you all again."
"What do you mean?" asked Mist, gazing at the scars all over him.
"I had to kill a few people." sighed Beat. "Now let's get something to eat. I haven't eaten since I jumped ship."
Lukas gazed at the screen left in front of him, watching Mist and Beat talk.
"Boy, she really did worry about you." laughed Drake.
"I don't believe this. You hide what they say, I know you're trying to trick me." growled Lukas. He spat at Drake and made it freeze to a needle and stab Drake right above his jaw.
"Damn brat!" hissed Drake smacking Lukas with the back of his hand. "And after I made thus place resemble your home."
"I hope you die as painfully as you could imagine!" shouted Lukas.
"Hmmm, Beat is alive?" yawned Drake.
"He is. You showed him to me dumb ass." growled the chained up boy.
"I meant it like a question. How do you feel about his return?" sighed Drake getting bored.
"You bastard. I know my friends will save me! And Beat will be there to help bring me back."
"Well, someone just lost dinner tonight." laughed Drake smiling. "You go the night without eating."
"Piss off!" spat Lukas.

"Hey Beat, guess what?" Finn said.
"What?" Beat replied.
"I got the Triforce of-" Finn started before falling to the floor, for the second time.
"Oh no, I guess I'm-" Beat started before he also fell to the floor.
They woke up to find Din smiling at them. She ran up and hugged Beat saying,"Beat you're back!"
"Sorry to interrupt your reunion but Din why did you call us here?" Finn growled.
"He doesn't like us goddesses and he hates me the most," Din whispered in Beats ear before answering Finn's question.
"Well because you'll someone that you know in the next world you go to," Din answered.
"Who?" Finn replied.
"You'll find out,"
"Damnit don't keep secrets from me!" Finn roared. Din found his anger at her quite amusing, she cast Beat a look that said "See what I mean?"
"Finn calm down," Beat said.
"Calm down? This demon and her demon sisters took me away from my father when I was born! In fact, I don't even know who my own Mother is because of her!"
"You better watch out Nayru hates being called a demon," Din told him.
"Thats what she is a-" Finn started.
"Demon?" Nayru finished.
"Oh shit Finn you're in trouble now," Beat said though the current situation entertained him.
"You better keep your mouth shut and control your anger boy, or else I'll hunt you down," Nayru said before disappearing.
"So in your next world you'll find a friend you know, bye!" Din said.
"Thanks Din,"
"Fuck you Din!"
Their scenery changed so they were back on the ship. Finn kicked a chair over in anger and proceeded to smash it.
"She makes me so angry!" Finn shouted still destroying the chair.
"Finn calm down, Din isn't a bad person I can't see why you hate her," Beat yawned.
"She took me away from my family, made me go on a quest that takes long and afterward I don't even know how long it'll be before I get a normal life, she's caused me so much pain," Finn said and stopped destroying the chair, sat next to the wall and put his face in his hands.
Beat understood him a little but when he was younger he had Nabooru to look after him. Finn grew up with the Kokiri who no doubt probably dissed him for not having a fairy and being different to them.
"It'll be alright Finn, come I need to tell everyone something," Beat said.
Beat had everyone gather in the gallery. They were all waiting for what he was going to say.
"Hey everyone, when you were in that building earlier, did you manage to get the void map?" Beat asked.
They all nodded.
"Okay because now we're gonna go back down that same river we went down before,"
"What are you crazy?!" Kane shouted from the crowd. "Its suicide! It killed you once!"
"But we need to go back, theres a natural portal down there were I 'died', it took me to a whole new place,"
"Then how'd you get back?" Richard asked.
"Same way I went in,"
Arthur looked at Mist. She was trembling, he guessed she didn't want anyone to die going down there again. He walked over to her.
"You know to go with boys on their quest you're going to have to confront your fears," Arthur said.
"I know, its just...its just I don't want anyone to die," Mist replied.
"Hey these boys are skilled, especially Beat, they won't die easily," Arthur reasssured her before leaving.
The next morning everyobdy, except Kane and the ship crew, were ready to voyage down the river Mist took them, again. The ship was ready but this time there was no crew because the crew that was on the other ship was needed again, which almost left Mist in charge again but didn't because Arthur was there.
"You were close Mist," Richard whispered in her ear.
"Oh shut up Richard!"
They boarded the ship and Richard went to the kitchen to cook, Finn went up to the crows nest, Mist worked the tiller, Arthur went to the captains quarters and Beat slipped away to rest in the living quarters.
Meanwhile, in the Captains quarters Arthur was trying to work out how Drake knew where they were and how he managed to snatch Lukas under their nose.
He must be watching us somehow. Arthur thought, then he got a sudden chill. He knew that chill.
"Drake come out here I know you're there," He said.
Drake stepped through a rift saying,"You always know when I'm watching"
"Where's Lukas?" He growled.
"Oh him? I'm not telling you," Drake replied, nonchalantly. "This is a nice room"
Arthur took out his bow, notched an arrow and aimed it at Drake's face. "I'm not playing around Drake"
"Oh please you wouldn't do that, how would you find Lukas?" He calmly said.
"What do you want?" Arthur asked, lowering his bow.
"Nothing really, I just wanted to chat," Drake laughed stepping through a rift. "You better watch that boy of yours, lest the goddesses and I drive him to the 'dark' side"
"What do you mean by that?" Arthur asked as Drake left but his answer was a smirk from Drake. He left the quarters just to see Beat standing outside his door.
"What?" He snapped.
"Cap'n we're nearing where I 'died', how is everyone going to go without leaving the ship?" Beat asked.
"So what if we leave the ship on its own with no crew, we won't return to Kayve," Arthur smirked. "Unless Mist doesn't get homesick"
"I never get homesick!" Mist shouted.
"Go tell everyone Beat," Arthur ordered. "We're going to another world"
Chapter 18: Split Descisions by Beat15
Author's Notes:
In a time of need, a hero rises. But what will happen when a hero loses his faith? A choice needs to be made, but will the right one be chosen?
"Keep it steady!" shouted Beat as he held onto the map.
"I'm trying, this current is too strong!" shouted Mist.
"We're leaving the ship, remember?" growled Arthur.
"I see something coming out of the cave up ahead!" exclaimed Finn pointing to the ripples in the cave.
"Is that…" gasped Beat leaning over the rail. "That's impossible!"
"What is it?" asked Arthur turning to face Beat.
"I though I killed that monster." muttered Beat.
"I suggest we brace ourselves!" shouted Mist.
"I've got an idea, Finn get down here!" roared Beat over the rushing current.
Finn leapt out of the crows nest, and rolled over to stand next to Beat.
"What is that thing?" asked Finn.
"The big thing that busted up our last ship." sighed Beat. "I believe you've gained some of Din's power, so let's combine our strength."
"Din's Fire?"
Beat nodded and they both got into position. They focused their energy, and moved to gather all of it in their hands. They stood back back and shot flames out at the serpent blocking the entrance to the Void. They watched the creature burn, and realized the body was already dead, it was just too big to be swept away. As it burned, it shriveled up and shrunk, making it small enough to go through.
"Alright that was pretty impressive." stated Arthur looking at the panting boys.
"Does using those monsters' powers always drain this much?" wheezed Finn.
"No, or at least not for me. I just used a little too much a while before I got here." gasped Beat in exhaustion. "I feel like I'm gonna…" mumbled Beat before he collapsed onto the deck.
"Take him to his room, and put him into bed, he needs a break." ordered Arthur.
"Yes sir!" replied Finn trying to lift Beat.
"Never mind." muttered Arthur walking up to Beat and taking him. "This is just great, now we need to wait."
Beat woke up in the mist he was used to, but now he was faced by a different person. Nayru stood before him, and a light smile crossed her lips.
"Ah, my new master." greeted Beat, standing up.
"Mr. Grimsley." nodded Nayru. "You were very brave to do what you did. You faked your own death, and managed to trick me." laughed Nayru.
"I tricked the goddess of wisdom?" gasped Beat.
"Yes, and I'm sure Din will arrive soon. While we wait, I'd like to know how you survived."
"Too late I'm here. I was taking care of some loose ends." explained Din walking up.
"My two masters. I hold the curse of either of you, but I'd like to relinquish one back to it's creator." chanted Beat. "Goddess Nayru, please reclaim your Fear. I have no desire to control others fears."
"Very well. But I'm allowing you to call Blue Spirit in case you need help. This way, you and your rude friend can have someone guarding you at all times." replied Nayru.
"Now, your friends are waiting for you." laughed Din.
Beat woke to find the Antriforce of Fear faded to a normal color. He staggered onto the deck, and saw Mist standing on her own, elbows resting on the railing.
"I'm sorry." sighed Beat walking up next to her. "I wanted to test to see how you acted as a captain. I didn't mean to embarrass you."
Mist jumped at the sound of his voice. When she remembered everyone was asleep she whispered to him.
"It's alright. I had it all explained by Richard." laughed Mist weakly.
"You miss him, I know it." sighed Beat pulling a cigarette out. He lit it using the tip of his finger, and took a small drag.
"Yeah, I miss him. Have you ever lost anyone close to you?" asked Mist, looking to Beat.
"Yes, I've lost a lot of people close toe throughout my life. I lost my fiancé, Ivy." muttered Beat as a tear recipes down his face. He smiled weakly and took a drag.
"Why do you do that?" asked Mist looking at the lit roll in his hand.
"It calms me down. I used to play my violin, but I left back at my home. Here, just put it to your lips and breathe in with your mouth." instructed Beat.
Mist tried, but just wound up coughing.
"Sorry, guess I'm not a good instructor." laughed Beat.
"I think I…" started Mist before having a finger placed to her lips.
"Shhhh. Just enjoy the night air. I want to offer you something." laughed Beat quietly.
"What is it?" asked Mist.
"A chance to create your perfect world. I was told to only offer someone who deserves happiness. You certainly need some good and happiness." yawned Beat. "You interested?"
"I… I… I'll… I'll do it!" stammered Mist.
"Good." smiled Beat happily.
Finn couldn't sleep. He tossed and turned in the bunk, but he didn't trust sleep. He may end up having to put up with Din or worse, Nayru!
"Little boys should be sleeping right now." laughed Drake sitting down in the newly replaced chair.
"You!" growled Finn reaching for where his sword was placed. But he found nothing.
"I put the tools I led you to in the crow's nest. But I have an offer to make you. Want the power to destroy the goddesses?" laughed Drake.
"Your offering me the power to kill Din, Nayru, and Farore?" gasped Finn.
"Yeah, I guess I am." smiled Drake evilly. "Interested?"
Finn thought hard and bit his lip. He felt blood trickle down his lip as he thought. And then he knew. A smile crossed his face as he gave Drake his answer.
"Very well, I'll take it."
"Excellent!" laughed Drake.
Beat felt Drake close by. He had grown accustomed to him showing up at any time. Beat went to where he felt Drake was and gasped at what he saw. Drake was talking with Finn about destroying the goddesses!
"Din and Nayru are gonna enjoy hearing this." muttered Beat. He watched Drake shake hands with Finn and then go through a void. "I've got to stop this!"
Finn walked to the door and found Beat preparing to knock.
"Oh, hey Beat." gasped Finn in surprise.
"Hey Finn. Can I talk with you on the deck?" asked Beat shaking nervously.
"Sure, let's go." smiled Finn.
As the two walked onto the deck, Beat reached into his pocket and found that he had finally regained his lost weapon.
"So what did you need?" asked Finn with yawn.
"I just wanted to know your opinion of the goddesses. I know you think of them as monsters, but I need to know. Do you hate their very existence?" asked Beat staring Finn in the eyes.
"Beat… you don't know what I've gone through because of them." sighed Finn.
"No, I can't say I do. But I can say this. I think they aren't perfect, but they have good intentions behind their actions." explained Beat.
"You only say that because you've never dealt with the bad things about them." growled Finn.
"Really?" snapped Beat. "I had my parents killed, my friends killed, a curse put on me, a redhead trying to kill me, an army of bones on fucking ass, and an annoying goddess nagging me to do the best I can to fulfill her wants and needs. Not to mention the list of sights no one our age should see. Do you think you're the only one that's been hurt by the goddesses? Because you're not! You're just complaining because you never got to know your daddy! I lost both of them, my parents are dead! The world isn't just about you!" screamed Beat, a fire igniting in his eyes.
"Beat, I know you've suffered, but I can fix all this." reassured Finn.
"I wasn't done. If you let me finish I would have said that even though my life has been a living hell, I still don't hate the goddesses. They created our home, they created our ancestors, they probably created these other worlds also." sighed Beat.
"Even after all they've done, you still don't hate them?" gasped Finn.
"No. I don't. And I don't think you should do what you promised Drake. He's fooled once, how do you know if he really knows the way to kill the goddesses?" shouted Beat.
"You listened in on me?" gasped Finn.
"I felt someone unfamiliar on the ship, so I investigated. How long have you been helping him?" growled Beat.
"You don't trust me? I did all that I could to end this after we thought you died! We went to get the Void Map while you did who knows what! You don't trust me? I don't think we should trust you with that Antriforce of Fear!" roared Finn.
Arthur and the rest of the travelers went on deck to see the two arguing.
"I gave the damn thing back! You think I want the thing that drove my most hated enemy? I gave it back to Nayru!" shouted Beat.
"I don't need this!" growled Finn.
"Fuck you!" shouted Beat. "You don't care about saving anything. You just want to get revenge!"
"Take that back!" screamed Finn.
"Make me!" roared Beat.
"I will!" shouted Finn teleporting.
He reappeared next to where Beat stood and brought lightbringer down at his head.
"Just like I expected." sighed Beat drawing the hilt he had in his pocket. From it grew a broad blade like that of lightbringer.
"What the hell?" gasped Finn.
"My Sage Warrior weapon, the Spirit Blade! It becomes any blade I want, and it's gonna stop you from harming the goddesses!" shouted Beat.
Richard couldn't hold back anymore. He tried too hard too long to keep from doing this. He shouted out and ran toward his friends.
"STOP IT!!!"
"Richard!" gasped Mist.
Richard stood between the two as they jumped back preparing to charge. They couldn't see him, for the spark of battle lit their eyes, only letting them see the other.
"That's enough!" shouted Red Spirit as he grabbed Finn.
Green and Blue grabbed Beat and pulled him back.
"Stop it, he is working with Drake!" shouted Beat.
Everybody looked to Finn and he remained silent, just glaring at Beat.
"Is this true Finn?" asked Arthur asked.
"My my. This little assortment only see Drake as the enemy? Then I guess I should show I am still a threat!" cackled a new voice.
Everyone turned to see Bone King hovering above the ship. He raised his arm, and quickly brought it down cutting the back half of the boat off. He cackled and vanished in a shower of the blood colored liquid.
The ship was quickly pulled under as it was swept away the current. Beat escaped the spirits and rushed over to Mist.
"Come on, we can get our work done!" shouted Beat pulling a slip of paper out. "Richard, Arthur, we need to get into the tunnel!"
"Right!" nodded Richard swimming towards the tunnel with his friend.
Arthur grabbed his son and followed them. He would talk to his son later. For now, survival was top priority.

Oh no the party split up. I look for my son whilst Beat goes off with Mist...what will happen next?!
R&R
Once they were in the void everything became...clear. They saw that there was ground but it was in fact high above them and that they were swimming in water. There were little spheres showing a patch of land of its world, like a preview. There were many worlds but they swam past many of them and sat on the ground.
"So which world?" Mist asked.
"That one," Beat said pointing to one that had strange machines zooming up and down on what seemed like a road. It required them to dive back in the water. With a loud sigh from Richard they dove back into the water and entered the strange, unfamiliar world.
They landed on the road and caused much disruption as the machines skidded to a stop and banged into eachother. They had curses thrown at them and some people even got out the mahcines to face them.
"Run," Arthur said and they ran from the scene. They ended up entering an alleyway to rest and Arthur pulled his son aside.
"What is this about you working with Drake?" Arthur said silently but sternly.
"I'm not working with Drake, I don't know where Beat got that from," Finn lied.
"The truth, Finn," Arthur demanded.
He gulped, not knowing how to get out of this one.
"I-I'm not-," Finn stammered
"Not what?"
"Actually you know what? I am and guess what it involves getting rid of three people, ask Beat," Finn said and smiled. "Drake take me out of here!"
"As you wish," Drake said coming out of a rift. Beat saw this and tried to stop Finn.
"No!" He shouted.
"You know what the difference between me and you is Beat? I want revenge," Finn said stepping into the rift and as he did that, it closed.
"Damn it all to hell!" Arthur shouted punching the wall, he looked at Beat. "Get Red Spirit and tell him to tell the Goddesses about this, I must leave you here, I need to find Finn"
"You don't have a void map," Beat said.
"I'll find my way," Arthur said before walking off. Now the party was split up. Lukas was captured. Finn is working with Drake, so was Beat but in a different way and much more secretly and Mist is too but in a different way as well. Richard is probably the one whos the only good guy here.
"What now?" Richard asked.
"Well Din told me we'd find someone we know here, my best guess is Zachari because we left him in void, so we go and find him," Beat replied.
Drake was smiling. Everything was going according to plan. He knew Finn was smart so he'd ask if he actually knew how to destroy the Goddesses.
"Do you really know how to destroy the Goddesses Drake? Or are you tricking me?" Finn asked.
"Well before I tell you that-" Drake started.
"No, first give me the evidence," Finn demanded.
"Alright, look," Drake replied and took out an old piece of paper from his pocket.
"What is that?"
"Its information about a weapon, a weapon that kills gods, it looks like a normal sword but it has streams of light that glow they glow even more when the weapon has claimed the life of a God, here" Drake said and gave the paper to Finn.
"Whoa," Finn gasped. "So what do I have to do?"
"Simple, you've got to go to a world unlike any of the others. You must enter the world of Lord Drazo. The one weapon able to extinguish the life of those wretched goddesses!" laughed Drake.
"But Drazo will…"
"He won't attack because he is in another world with Skull King." yawned Drake.
"Then send me there now!" urged Finn.
"Back to his home worlds entrance." sighed Drake snapping his fingers.
Beat and Mist rushed through this maze of metal and ran straight into a man in with a strange type of armor. It was hard but not cold like metal.
"Eh? Who are you two? You're not the same people that were described to me!" growled the man.
"Well you see…" started Beat.
"We are better than the others." finished Mist.
"Fine, get in." grumbled the man opening a door to one of the metal contraptions.
"Cool." laughed Mist.
Beat was apprehensive to get in. So the man pushed him in and slammed the door shut.
"Why did you say that?" whispered Beat.
"He may be able to take us to your friend." replied Mist.
"That makes… Shit! We left Richard!" gasped Beat.
"Son of a bitch." muttered Richard. He walked around trying to find somebody to help him. He noticed at one point the road he was walking on turn black. "Weird." he muttered. Then the world went black as he felt something rush into his side.
"Oh fuck!" gasped Mason stepping out of his car. "Shit! Why is it always me that hits someone when I'm driving?"
"What's wrong Mason?" yawned Zachari getting out of the passenger seat. "Richard?" gasped Zachari.
"You know him?" asked Mason.
"Yeah, he came to my world and brought me to his own to save me." explained the prince. "If he's here it means I'll be able to thank them for deserting me."
"I think we'll have to miss our appointment with the boss. I just hope that Brendan isn't doing something that would make us look bad." growled Mason.
Arthur ran through, looking for where ever his son was. He soon found an answer.
"Drake!" roared Arthur as he charged at his hated enemy.
"Oh my." yawned Drake as he was shoved against a wall.
"What have you done to my son?"
"What? No 'hi' or 'how are you'? You've become very rude. I remember when we were such good friends." laughed Drake.
"Answer me!"
"Oh very well. He is making the same mistake we made when we were young!" smiled Drake evilly.
"You mean?"
"Yea, I do. He's trusting in the rough sketch of a legendary weapon. Except this time the motives aren't so pure! He wants to end the lives of your goddesses!" cackled Drake fading into a void. But he grabbed Arthur and pulled him into the Void with him.

Short chapter. Why? So you'll read on. I left at a moment where you'll want to see what happens next didn't I?
Well its all part of my plan. Now, you what else is too? R&R
"Finn don't do it!" shouted Arthur a little too late. Finn had grabbed the legendary sword that was able to take a God's life.
"Hahaha! Its too late now, I'm afraid!" Drake laughed."Now out you go!"
Drake kicked Arthur in the chest and he went flying out of the void. Then Drake noticed something move in the image he was looking at. "Whats that?" He asked to no-one.
Arthur landed safely on the roof of a tall building. Got to get a void crystal he thought.
"HE'S WHAT?" Nayru shouted, even though she knew what he did.
"He's already taken the sword mi'lady," Red Spirit replied.
"I know that!" She snapped. "Why didn't you stop him?!"
"I would've died again and I didn't want to risk that,"
Nayru sighed in frustration and turned to the other goddesses.
"What do you think they'll do?" Green Spirit asked Red Spirit.
"I don't know, they'll probably-" Red Spirit started. He was interrupted by Beat materialising next to him.
"Whats going on?"
"You are going to get your friend, Finn and use Din's Imprisonment on him," Din ordered.
"What? No! Isn't there anything else that I could do?!"
"Unless you can talk some sense into him,"
Beat thought for a while.
"I know what to do," Beat said.
"Very well you may leave," Din replied and Beat disappeared.
"Now you three, are going to keep a very sharp eye on Finn, you will be punished if he leaves your sight," Farore ordered.
"Yes mi'lady," All three spirit's replied before disappaering.
"Beat are you okay?" Mist asked.
"Yes, I'm fine we need to find Lukas and Finn's father," Beat replied looking around.
"Why?"
"It's the only way we can get Finn back,"
"What about your friend?"
"Okay, for now we'll stay but after we get Zachari we leave," Beat replied.
Chapter 21: Manhunt by Beat15
Author's Notes:
Yeah not sure how to describe this one.
"Damn it Finn!" growled Arthur. "How could you trust Drake after everything?"
"Thats a good question Arthur." sighed Beat appearing behind him.
"How'd you get up here?"
"I took some stairs, borrowed a 'motorcycle' rode up the rest of the stairs, jumped off, left Mist with the bike, ran out that door and then said 'thats a good question Arthur'. That about sum it up?" explained Beat.
"Thanks for leaving me behind asshole." panted Mist crawling out of the door.
"You were supposed to stay and catch your breath." growled Beat.
"Will you two quit it!" barked Arthur.
"I'm just here to tell you that we need your help to bring Finn back to his senses, or else I'll be forced to kill him to keep the goddesses alive." muttered Beat lighting a cigarette.
"You really should quit using those." advised Mist.
"Well, just as a sign that we mean it, take the map. I think you know where we'll be headed anyway. I've got to find Richard and Zachari." added Beat ignoring Mist.
"You are giving me this?"
"Yeah, I trust you, and besides, I made a copy of it." laughed Beat pulling out a piece of paper.
"You copied it?" gasped Arthur.
"Yeah, it took him an hour to just get your world right." laughed Mist.
"Shut up and let's go find those two." growled Beat headed back for the door. "We're using the bike again."
"Not the bike again." moaned Mist.
Beat suddenly flew out the door on a machine that the locals of this world called a motorcycle. He grabbed Mist and pulled her on. He drove towards the lip of the roof and pulled the front wheel up making it so they jumped towards the next building.
"I hate you so much!" screamed Mist.
"Aw stop, hating is bad." laughed Beat.
"I'm glad he isn't my son. But I can't I'm proud to be Finn's either right now." sighed Arthur.
Drake laughed cruelly watching his plan come together. He looked back at Lukas who was tied down still.
"Ready to help me?" he grinned.
"You turned my friends against each other, why would I help with that?" shouted Lukas.
"I did no such thing. Their own desires drove them to do these things. Finn wants revenge on the goddesses that kept him and his dear old daddy separated. Beat wants a world where everything is peaceful, and all his friends from all the different worlds are safe. As for Mist, she joined Beat because she wants to save you. Joining me would bring you one step closer to her."
"You talk too much." growled Lukas.
"Another insult towards me, oh that means you're not hungry. No food for the rest of the day." laughed Drake walking off.
"Your cooking is punishment enough." spat Lukas.
Drake froze in place and turned slowly to face his captive. He walked over to Lukas slowly and leaned close to him.
"What did you just say you little shit?" growled Drake.
"I said you starving me is a luxury. I hate your cooking, it makes me sick." stated Lukas looking rift into Drake's eyes.
"Then I think I'll give you a double portion tonight!" hissed Drake. "I've got to report to Skull King, when I return you'll receive quite the feast."
Lukas watched Drake go into a rift and smiled once he left. "Time for m escape." he smiled. He spat at his chain and froze the water to make it razor sharp, and it cut through his bindings. He tore the ropes off of his legs and ran towards the rift that was used to show what was happening with his friends. "Beat, Finn, Richard, Mist, errr, who do I go to?" moaned Lukas. "Eenie, meenie, meine, mo!" shouted Lukas jumping into one of the screens.
Beat rode onto the roof of a low building and jumped off into the road. He had been practicing driving these ever since they arrived a week ago. But how long had it been since he originally left? He gave up trying to figure that out, he had new friends to look out for. He also had a deal to keep with Drake. He had planned on betraying him until he found out all that had happened.
"Hey Beat, are you sure we'll still get our perfect world from Drake?" asked Mist leaning onto his shoulder.
"I don't know who to trust anymore." sighed Beat. "I still need to find Richard and see that he's okay. Then we'll look for Lukas, and then I'll smack some sense into Finn."
"Yeah, I guess you're right." agreed Mist.
Beat smiled at the memories she brought up. She reminded him of so many old friends. Her sweet compassionate side reminded him of Malon, her bossy moods reminded him of Ruto though not as annoying.
"Mist are you sure we should still try this?" asked Beat.
"You gave me the idea. You said that last Sin was in charge of the whole army thats taken over this place. So, we kill her, free the residents, and get one step closer to Drake's offer. Then you can kill Skull King with him while I loom for Lukas and then you can ambush Drake." explained Mist.
"That doesn't answer my question." muttered Beat.
Finn sat with his head slumped against his chest. He was so close, just a few short steps from achieving his goal. He just needed to wait for Drake to show up.
"Wait long?" laughed Drake.
"Kept me waiting pretty long." growled Finn. "Are you sure this thing can kill a goddess?"
"Hell, it may even be able to kill Lord Drazo. Just wait till the goddesses to try to attack you." muttered Drake. "Just don't get yourself killed."
"I doubt they'll risk coming themselves." yawned Finn.
"You're right, they'd send those stupid spirits." laughed Drake.
Hidden in the shadows the three spirits remained silent, scattered throughout the strange void that was empty except for the two conspirators. Red had to hold Green back from jumping out at the two.
"Just wait. I'll stay and watch Finn, you two go after Drake when he leaves." ordered Red.
"Right." nodded Blue.
Green just muttered something resembling a sure.
Drake soon left Finn to report to Skull King about something. When he was alone he sighed and looked at his hand.
"Why insult me with this damn Triforce? I made it clear I hate them, yet I'm given the Triforce of Power. They really are cruel." muttered Finn.
"It's because the Triforce saw that you were the one that was most powerful exhibited the traits of Din." explained Red Spirit appearing next to him.
"What?!?" gasped Finn jumping up. He drew Lightbringer and pointed it at Red. "How'd you get here?"
"I had to search through many worlds looking for Drake, and then when I finally caught up I had to follow him until he brought me here. I am your protector, I have to make sure you stay safe." growled Red. "Do you have any idea what the hell will happen if you kill just one of the goddesses?"
"I will get my revenge for separation me from my father!" shouted Finn raising Lightbringer.
Finn swung it at Red who nimbly dodged and then seized Finn by his collar and pressed him against the wall.
"Kill Din, and the earth we stand on in any world, Kayve or Hyrule will dissolve. Kill Nayru, all law is forgotten and chaos erupts. Kill Farore, and all life ends. Is that worth it? The deaths of everyone just because you didn't spend a few years with your father! I was killed a week after my son was born, I watched him grow up for fifteen years before the Ganondorf incident and watched him grow another seven years. I watched for twenty two years without my son, and then was finally granted a chance to see him when he awakened as the holder of the Antriforce of Rage! I lost all this because of the goddesses, but I still stay loyal to them, because they have a reason to every action they make!" shouted Red Spirit tearing his mask off.
"You sure do talk a lot." sighed Drake before a loud bang echoed through the void.
Finn gasped in horror as Red Spirit fell to the ground in agony. He clutched his leg and looked to Drake. "You bastard!"
"Why thank you. Finn you may want to turn away, this is gonna be messy." laughed Drake.
"Over my dead body!" roared Green jumping at Drake from a shadow.
Drake just stepped back and let Green's sword strike the ground. He pointed his gun at Green's head and pulled the trigger.
"Nayru's Love!" shouted Blue Spirit, encasing Green in the magical shield.
"Oh my three against one. Hardly seems fair. One of you is crippled, and the other two are just their to help incase Red can't do it." taunted Drake.
"Why I should cut your fucking tongue out!" shouted Green.
"Green, get us out of here. Red needs help." urged Blue.
"Fine, Farore's Wind." muttered Green.
As the spirits vanished Finn stood still processing Red's story. He was the father of Rage's holder? He had taken his mask off, but who did he resemble? Finn couldn't think straight. He looked at Drake who just stood there with a cruel grin on his face.
"I felt a presence here that shouldn't be here, so I decided to come back and check on you." he explained.
Finn just nodded. He had to clear his head. He needed to kill the goddesses, regardless of what Red said. He had decided to this long before he had met Beat and Richard.
Richard barked orders out to the rebels he was instructing. He had been picked up by Zachari and another fellow whose name escaped him. He had decided to help train the rebels to fight hand to hand in case they ever needed to defend themselves. It was a difficult task, but it reminded him of his time in Hyrule. He missed being a guard, relaxing after his shift and wandering the town aimlessly with Beat.
"Raise your fist higher Dan." corrected Richard.
"You look exhausted." noted Zachari.
"I am exhausted." sighed Richard.
"Hey Marcus just saw that pair that's been runnin' errands for the boss. I tell you, those two are crazy, that driver will jump off of roofs if it gets his job done faster." reported one of the lookouts.
"God, those two have been here a week and they already have a better rep then us." growled one of the higher ups.
"Well well well. This is a surprise. I guess our reputation preceded us." laughed the a teen with a helmet on.
"Just quit being so damn stupid." muttered his partner removing her helmet.
"Mist?" gasped Richard running up.
"Oh hey, we found Richard." laughed Mist calmly.
"Cool, how are you buddy?" laughed Beat pulling his helmet off.
"Well apart from being run over and deserted everyone I'm just peachy." growled Richard.
"You have no right to complain about being left behind, I was left in the void!" snapped Zachari.
"Hey look, it's the prince." laughed Beat.
"Quit laughing. It's annoying." requested Mist.
"Alright." sighed Beat. "Now we did what we need to. You're both alright, so now we've just got to find Anise."
"And I'll leave the killing of her to you." laughed Mist.
"Actually, I'll be taking both of you with me." stated Arthur walking up behind them.
"Oh, alright." yawned Mist.
"Let's go talk Finn out of his madne..." started Beat before falling to his knees. He fell onto his face and lost consciousness.
Lukas found himself back in Kayve somehow. He ran through the forest and searched for the river or Kane. He ran through and found that it had become a lot more peaceful here. He ran until he stumbled over the roots of a tree.
"Damn it!" he growled. He got up and ran towards the sounds of rushing water and found himself in front of the old fortress that they had entered. He gasped at the remains that were left, all of it was scorched to nothing but ashes and a few stray pillars.
"Quite impressive, isn't it?" laughed a voice behind him.
Lukas turned to find himself standing in front of a Bome Soldier much more evil looking than any of the others he had fought.
"Who are you?" gasped Lukas.
"I'm the Skull King. I have a proposition for you."
"Oh great." thought Lukas.
Chapter 22: Nearing Conclusions by MadSkillz
So the goddesses have made their move, this means its time to make mine. Finn thought. What if what Red Spirit said was true... He wondered. No! I must not become weak, I decided on this and I'll evacuate
whoever I can from Hyrule, they cannot have made all the other worlds either. He looked at his new sword. Heh, its not glowing that much. I wonder what it will look like when I kill Din, or Nayru maybe Farore. Actually in fact, I'll kill Din first and-
"Had a nice time by yourself?" Drake said, interrupting Finn's thoughts. "Now that the goddesses have made a move,
its our turn. You'll take Red Spirit away to another location and I" He looked behind him."Will take Green and Blue Spirit"
"Crap! Our covers blown!" Green spirit whispered.
"He knew we were here all the time," Blue spirit replied coming out of the shadows.
"Ooh the defeated spirits, back for more?" Drake said.
"We're here to defeat you," Green spirit replied.
"Now both you and I both know you can't do that," He said and smirked."Bang" Green Spirit just about dodged
the bullet. Finn started to leave to go somewhere else through the void, he'd already made a rift when Red Spirit tackled him into it. "Finn stop this!" Red Spirit
shouted.
"I think not," He replied kicking Red Spirit off of him. "I'm not just doing this for me you
know"
"Then for who?" Red Spirit asked.
"For all those that were affected by the goddesses bad decisions, like me!"
"Well then if I can't change your mind," He threw his chain at Finn and it wrapped around his
leg.
"Tsk, tsk," Finn said and cut the chain with a new blade."You'll have to try better than that" Red Spirit noticed this change in weaponry and speech-pattern.
"You aren't Finn," He said.
"Took you long enough," Drake replied coming out of his
transformation.
"When?!" Red Spirit asked, confused.
"Oh, Finn was never here, he left a while ago, back there,
that was a clone, or am I the clone?" Drake answered and stuck his hand out to Red Spirit and he flew backwards. Drake came walking up to him.
"Hows that leg?" He said kicking his bad leg. Red Spirit
yelled out in pain, anger and frustration.
"Allow me to put you out of your misery,"
"The goddesses will bring me back," he spat.
"Are you sure?" Drake replied and shot Red Spirit in the head.
"I'm not taking any thought into your 'offer' I'm going!" Lukas replied running off.
"You will accept!" Skull King shouted sending some Bone
Soldiers after him. Lukas ran past a bush and hid there, he turned around and breathed a sigh of relief, afterwards, he saw a bunch of monsters
together, they were like a family. He got an idea. He got up and revealed his position to the Bone Soldiers. When they ran after him, Lukas ran past the monsters and the Bone Soldiers tried to aswell but they got interrupted by the monsters. Yes! Lukas thought before running into Kane.
"Lukas? What're you doing here?" Kane asked.
"Can we talk somewhere more safe?" Lukas said.
"Sure," Kane replied and took him back to his house. Once
they were in Lukas looked around for Mist's room.
"Hey where's Mist's room?" Lukas asked.
"Its on your right," Kane laughed. Lukas opened the door
and looked around.
Mist's room was fairly big, with a single bed with 2 yellow pillows on it and a small book. There was a dressing table and a wardrobe aswell. It was a
little bit messy. Lukas walked up to her bed and
picked up the book. It had no title but he opened it anyway. Inside, the first line started with:
"Dear diary,"
Her diary?! Lukas thought and sifted through the pages until he found something about him. It read:
"Dear diary,
Today Kane told me to be the captain of a bunch of boys supposedly from another 'world'. What does that even mean anyways? Theres only Kayve, thats all, I think they're just crazy but there's one boy who managed to turn his hair light blue and he looks really cute. My friend Gwen thinks his friend with brown hair and green eyes looks handsome and that I should tell him about her.
Anyways I'm off now, bye!"
Lukas smirked at the diary entry, he was interested so he turned the page. That page read:
"Dear Diary,
Disaster struck on the river! I think I led them down the wrong river! If I did I'll have to say sorry but three monsters tore up the ship and we got ship wrecked! But I woke up with Lukas with big leaves covering me like a blanket and he had started a fire.
He said I looked cute when I sleep! And we had the best time walking together trying to find the others. I found out that he his light blue hair was his natural hair colour and that his own world was destroyed and it kind of got to him. I think I know how he feels because I'm an
orphan and Kane is my guardian.
Guess what? I think Lukas likes me too, I eavesdropped on the boys and I heard Finn saying something about liking someone and Lukas said not to 'tell her' and he asked if I had a boyfriend too.
What do you think?
Oh! I forgot to tell Finn about Gwen! Ohwell he won't be in Kayve for much longer though, that means Lukas aswell...I want to go with them!"
Lukas smiled. Knowing fully well now that the girl he likes, likes him back and because he was keeping back from laughing. He was about to turn the page when...
"Lukas now are you ready to tell me?"
"We'll be heading back to Hyrule. Finn would most likely go there to get to the goddesses, Beat do the honours," Arthur said.
"With pleasure," Beat replied about to throw the dimension gem when he suddenly dropped to his knees crying,"Dad!"
"Beat, are you okay?" Mist asked.
"Yeah, why are you worried?"
"I-I'm not worried!" Mist stammered.
"Beat make the rift," Arthur ordered. Beat threw the gem, opening the rift.
"Lets go,"
"These guys need more work," Richard said.
"Yeah, they don't even match the groundie army, and trust me they were
bad," Zachari replied.
"Mason how long left until the fight?" Richard asked.
"2 days,"
"We'll have to go like this,"
Chapter 23: The Final Battles Begin by Beat15
Author's Notes:
The goodbyes have been said. Now it's time for the fighting to begin!
As Lukas ran across the river bank he thought of what he had to do. He had to find his friends in Cybitril. He didn't know where he'd end up, but he had to find a way to them. He had to talk to Mist, and share his feelings with her.
"I'll find you Mist!" he shouted putting on a burst of speed.
As the group entered the Void they turned and said their final goodbyes.
"Now once we're done we'll come right back." reassured Beat.
"We've got two days to wait on you. We'll be sure to save a few skulls for you to break." laughed Richard.
"Come on!" shouted Arthur.
"Alright, seeya." nodded Beat.
Arthur led Beat and Mist into the Void and guided them towards the river that came from Kayve.
"You can always go back." whispered Beat.
"No, I'm doing this." growled Mist.
"Can you really fight using that thing?" laughed Beat indicating the rapier at her side.
"It was the only weapon I knew you could train me with." hissed Mist.
"So you want to be trained by a natural swordsman." laughed Beat. "What the..." gasped Beat turning to the river.
"What is it?" asked Mist.
Arthur quickly drew his bow and aimed at the ripple coming towards them.
Beat moved past Arthur and dived into the water. He submerged and swam towards the ripple.
"What is he doing?" growled Arthur.
Suddenly Beat surfaced with someone in his arms. He seemed to be laughing as he swam towards the shore.
"Look who I found!" he cheered.
"Lukas?" gasped Mist.
"I'll be damned." muttered Arthur.
"Help me get him out of the water!" shouted Beat.
Arthur ran over and picked Lukas up as Beat crawled up onto the bank. Lukas was laid out by Arthur who began to press down on his chest to pump water out of his lungs.
"He's still breathing." sighed Beat in relief.
"Alright, I know mouth to mouth, make room." advised Mist.
But before she got to him he vomited the water onto the ground and started coughing.
"Uggh, not my best idea." ground Lukas.
"Good to see you're alright." laughed Beat.
"Lukas!" cheered Mist hugging him close to her.
Beat smiled at Arthur who only shook his head.
"How'd you guys find me?" laughed Lukas.
"You kind of found us." replied Arthur.
"I remember diving into the water, but I hit my head on what I think may have been your last ship. I blacked out after that." explained Lukas.
"Well you came just in time. We need to stop Finn." sighed Beat.
"Because of Drake, right?" asked Lukas.
"Yeah. We all had different ideas of what to do. I think the one we know we have to avoid is the one Beat was ordered to do." answered Mist. She realized she was still holding Lukas so she blushed and let him go.
"The goddesses want him trapped in one of my most dangerous spells, Din's Imprisonment. It took me a while to learn this and I'm still trying to get the hang of it. I don't want to use it." sighed Beat.
"Hopefully we won't have to." nodded Arthur. "Let's go."
The group followed Arthur through the Void. It was a long trip to Hyrule.
Din and the other goddesses sensed the loss of Red Spirit and they knew Beat had sensed it also.
"Why hasn't he told them?" asked Nayru.
"He's in denial. He won't accept it, knowing he laptop his father again." muttered Farore.
"I need to stop Finn. You two move the people to the Light Temple. They'll be safe even if they bring that monster here." stated Din. "I can do this."
"We know you are the Goddess of Power. But use your head! He has a blade that can kill gods!" shouted Nayru.
"For being the Goddess of Wisdom, you sure don't know when to relax. I can handle this." laughed Din. She then glowed red and vanished.
"We need to do what she said. She knows what she's doing." reassured Farore.
Finn walked into the rift that Drake had left for him. He had his new sword at his side and a conflicting conscious. He couldn't tell what he wanted anymore. "Am I doing this for me?" he thought. "Was Red Spirit right?"
"Finn!" barked Drake.
"What is it?" he growled.
"We've got company." muttered Drake.
Finn looked over his shoulder to see a cloaked figure walking towards them. Beside the figure was a girl who wore a cloak similar to her companion. Drake seemed to be worried, which surprised Finn.
"Scared?" laughed Finn.
"Idiot! That's Skull King and Anise!" hissed Drake. "She is his most deadly fighter!"
"Really?" gasped Finn.
"Don't look. They know I had someone helping me, so just play along." warned Drake.
"Drake!" shouted the cloaked figure.
"I guess I'll be leaving this to you." laughed Drake snapping his fingers. Suddenly he vanished into a Void along with the two pursuers.
"What the hell?" gasped Finn.
As the group ran through the Void both Beat and Arthur sensed old enemies close by.
"I've gotta go!" exclaimed Beat and Arthur simultaneously. "You've gotta go?"
"I sense Skull King, I'm going to end things for the Antriforce." growled Beat.
"I can sense Drake, and I've got a score to settle!" countered Arthur.
"Go, we'll handle Finn." nodded Lukas.
"Give 'em hell." laughed Mist.
Beat and Arthur ran off towards their enemies and knew what they had to do.
"Let's go, Finn needs us." suggested Lukas.
"Right." nodded Mist.
Finn soon found everywhere he went was empty. No one in any fields, traveling down paths, or even just strolling through the vast plains. He couldn't figure out why.
"Where is everyone?" he muttered.
Beat and Arthur ran neck and neck. Beat wasn't going full speed, but he didn't want to leave Arthur unguarded. When they were far enough away from the other two they stopped.
"Admit it!" growled Arthur.
"Admit what?" challenged Beat.
"You were helping Drake weren't you?"
"What?" gasped Beat. "How could you accuse me of that?"
"You always looked nervous after you came back!" shouted Arthur.
"And I was! You were always watching me!" snapped Beat. "And even if I was working with him, I'd never trust him! I was planning on betraying him!" After saying that Beat gasped and covered his mouth.
"You were planning on betraying him?" asked Arthur.
"My, my. Betrayal after all I promised you?" laughed Drake running up behind Beat and pressing a blade to his neck.
"Drake!" gasped Beat.
Arthur drew his bow and aimed at Drake's head. He released the shaft and wagged it fall apart in midair.
"What the?" he gasped in shock.
"Anise, as flawless as ever." laughed a large cloaked figure.
"Skull King, flattery was never your strong suit." growled Beat.
"If anyone is going to kill Grimsley it will be me in the name of my king!" shouted Anise pointing her sharp dirk at Drake.
"I must say, this space is a little too cramped. Why not go somewhere more spacious?" laughed Drake pulling Beat into a random rift.
"Damn it, you're not going to kill him!" roared Skull King removing his cloak.
"I'll go after them!" nodded Anise pulling her cloak off, revealing her apparel.
"Now I'm not surprised you are lust." muttered Arthur looking over his shoulder as he ran towards the rift.
Anise wore a small black shirt that showed off her curves, and a short skirt that allowed her to move freely. On her belt was several sheaths for different types of blades.
"You kill that traitor and I'll take care of Grimsley." ordered Skull King. But suddenly an arrow went through his head. "You actually did that didn't you?"
"Shall I dispose of him also milord?" yawned Anise drawing another dirk.
"No, I think he'll make a great warm up for me." laughed Skull King cruelly. "Into that portal!"
Arthur dove into the rift and found himself in an empty plain. Far off in the distance he could see Beat kicking free of Drake.
"Looks like we traded for now." muttered Arthur aiming at the cave he just stumbled out of. He had quite a fight coming.
Mist and Lukas ran as fast as they could. Lukas knew he had to hurry if he wanted to save his friend. Mist remained silent, trying to hide how happy she was that Lukas was back.
"I'm glad to see you're safe." stated Lukas as they ran ahead.
"I'm glad you were able to escape." replied Mist.
"We're almost there according to this map. Just a little longer." laughed Lukas.
"Umm," muttered Mist, trying to work up the nerve to talk.
"You know, I never took you for a 'Dear Diary' kinda girl." teased Lukas.
Mist stopped dead in her tracks. She could feel the blush covering her face as she realized what he just said. "You went through my stuff?" she gasped.
"Sorry, I thought that if I found something about you I may be able to find a good gift for you once this was all done." sighed Lukas embarrassedly.
"You were going to get me a gift?" asked Mist turning away from him.
"Yeah." he nodded stepping closer to her.
"You should never go through a girl's belongings." she growled.
"If I hadn't I wouldn't know how you feel." he sighed.
Then for a brief second their eyes met, and he smiled at her. Mist then pulled him in and kissed him. To them that brief moment lasted several lifetimes. They pulled away and laughed nervously.
"We should save Finn now." mumbled Mist.
"Yeah, let's do that." nodded Lukas.
Finn soon found someone, and to his surprise it was a lone woman.
"Excuse me, where is everyone?" called Finn.
"The goddesses carried everyone away to the Light Temple. They say a great battle between several heroes and a great monster. I stayed for I don't have much to do these days. All I do is watch how people's lives progress. I want to witness a great spectacle." hollered the old woman.
Finn shook his head and ran to the woman. When he got close he could feel a great power coming from the old woman.
"You shouldn't stay here! You could get hurt!" warmed Finn. "I don't want to see you get hurt."
"Really? Then why do you have that sword drawn to fight?" questioned the elderly lady. "You've lost faith in the goddesses, even after they show they have faith in you." she stated inducing the Triforce on his right hand.
"They took me away from my father when I was a child! I was tormented by the Kokiri children while I grew up! I'm lucky I had any friends growing up!" growled Finn. "I'm sorry, but I can never forgive them."
"That's a shame." sighed the woman. She removed the hood she wore to reveal her true self.
"Din!?!" gasped Finn.
"We did what was done for a reason!" pleaded Din. "You just need to let me explain what happened!"
"Fuck that! The time for talk ended a long time ago!" shouted Finn.
"Finn no!" screamed Lukas and Mist running towards them.
"Stay out of this! This is between me and this demon and her sisters!" shouted Finn.
"Damn it, I have to stop him!" growled Lukas pulling out the bottle of water that he had received from Red Spirit.
"No, don't do it!" gasped Mist.
"I've got to do this! For Finn and Din!" snapped Lukas.
"Just promise me you'll come back." sighed Mist.
"I will." nodded Lukas.
Beat soon found himself in familiar terrain. Somehow the rift Drake had dragged him into was a gateway to Termina. He ran through the swamp of Woodfall trying to find a place where he could get some sort of weapon.
"Grimsley, it's pointless to hide from me!" laughed Drake. He soon jumped out at Beat from behind a tree.
Beat blasted him with fire to find it was a copy of Drake. He turned and ran, but the person he ran into wasn't as dangerous Drake.
"Tingle?!?" gasped Beat.
"Oh it's the pirate boy! Come to buy another of Tingle's maps?" laughed the man.
"Not right now. I just need directions. Which way to Clock Town?" replied Beat hurriedly.
"Oh, that's too bad. Clock Town is that way." sighed Tingle.
"Fine, a map of Termina Field, just don't do that..."
"Tingle, Tingle, Kooloo-Limpah!" cheered the man.
"Give me the damn map!" shouted Beat. He tore the map from Tingle's hands and ran off. He tossed a purple rupee at him and continued on his way to clock town.
Arthur wasn't as familiar with the swamp as Beat was. He stumbled and tripped over several roots and had a hard time escaping his pursuer.
"How dare you strike my king?" roared Anise jumping at him.
He narrowly avoided her and continued to run. She pulled her blade out of the tree she had gotten it stuck in and continued her pursuit.
Arthur soon saw a clearing and ran into an area with a strange child dancing around.
"Excuse me, have you seen a boy with dark skin running by?" wheezed Arthur.
"Oh the pirate boy? He went that way. Would you like to by one of Tingle's maps?" laughed the strange boy.
"No thank you." muttered Arthur running in the direction the boy had pointed in. He had to get up to where Beat was and take care of Drake.
Drake laughed from the comfort of his small world. Things weren't going as well as he had planned, but he was still getting what he needed.
"I just need to let those fools kill each other." laughed Drake.
"And then who kills you?" growled a voice in the back of Drake's mind.
"Ahh, Lord Drazo. You still don't believe in my plan. I just need one of them to gather all the pieces of the Antriforce. Then I kill whoever has all three and give the power to you. Then you will truly be immortal!" laughed Drake dementedly.
"You had better not fail me. You know what I'm capable of Drake." growled the voice.
"Yes milord." agreed Drake.
"So you intend on granting all the power you work so hard to steal to that monster?" growled Skull King materializing behind Drake.
"How'd you get here?" gasped Drake.
"You actually thought I wouldn't anticipate you making a world of your own to hide from me? I had made an obvious ploy of hiding a bone on you for you to find. But I planted several on you. I knew every move you made." laughed Skull King.
"So you intend to kill me yourself?" laughed Drake. "You'll have to catch me first!" he shouted diving into a rift.
"I love it when they run." laughed the tyrant evilly.
Chapter 24: The End? by MadSkillz
Author's Notes:
This is the second last chapter...*sniff*sniff*
R&R
Lukas didn't know when to come in. It was a close battle that you couldn't tell who would win, but Finn was determined that he wasn't
going to lose. Their swords got into a sword lock until Din fell onher back and kicked Finn over her. He clutched his stomach because she had a powerful kick.
"Come on Finn just give up!" Din shouted.
"No," He replied dashing toward the goddess then sidestepping around her so her back was exposed but she anticipated this so she jumped forward. Finn ran at her and slashed sideways, Din ducked under and slashed upwards, in response to this, Finn moved backwards. She then did a downward slash at Finn which he blocked and kicked her away.
Lukas took this as an oppurtunity to stop Finn, Mist joined too, her rapier drawn.
"Looks like we're moving locations," said Finn. He teleported behind them, grabbed Din and teleported to a rooftop on Kakariko Village.
He pushed her away and drew the Mad Bow and notched a poison arrow and shot it at Din.
She countered by shooting a large flame ball at Finn which he batted away with his sword.
"What?!" Din said shocked."How did you do that?!"
"My sword," Finn replied."Don't you remember what it does?"
He re-equipped his Mad Bow and shot magic arrows at Din in rapid succession. She dodged some but others cut her skin, when she was close enough she, grabbed Finn's bow and broke it in half.
"I should never have made this," Din said, chucking it away.
"My Father gave me that weapon!" Finn replied, shouting and launching another series of attacks, which Din either blocked, parried or dodged. Finn sliced sideways, where Din was going to go to the right so she just jumped off the roof.
"Why have you made space for yourself? Is it because you know you're about to die?" Finn laughed and teleported behind her and sliced downwards, all the way down her back. She cried out in pain a little but clenched her fist to strike behind her but he teleported again and kicked her chin from underneath her and kicked her in the stomach. She flew back and hit the wall off the house. He grabbed her head and smacked it off the wall. She fell to the ground. Finn pointed his sword downward, aimed at her chest, he thrust downwards but she resisted, holding the side of the sword. He was making slow progress down to her chest, when for some strange reason, the triforce resonated and he thrust downwards again and it pierced her chest and he left his sword there.
He had done it. He had killed Din. The ground started to rumble and stopped. The clouds turned grey and it started to rain and lightning struck the earth.
He sat down exhausted from the battle he just had.
"Happy?" Someone asked.
"Hell yeah, but a little exhausted, now if you excuse me I'll just lie down for a bit and think," Finn replied closing his eyes.
"Oh so you don't want to kill me aswell?" The person replied.
"Yeah-" Finn started before turning around to see a woman dressed in green. "Farore?"
"Yes now stand up and get ready for battle," she growled.
"No, I'm too tired, won't you let me rest? Its the honourable thing to do when in battle you know,"
"You didn't give us rest, we were awake all the time, thinking of a solution to this problem and we didn't want it to involve killing you,"
"Okay then, lets go," Finn said taking the blade out of Din's chest and lunging at Farore.
Arthur hid behind a tree that also had tall bushes around it. He notched an arrow on his bow, waiting for his persuer to come.
"Nice try," Anise said behind him. He turned around and shot his arrow. She swiftly dodged the arrow and walked towards him.
"You'll pay for striking my king,"
Arthur knew he'd have to fight close combat. It wasn't his best field but he was decent at it. He made a magical sword out of nowhere.
"You'll run out of magic," Anise said.
"We'll see," Arthur replied and lunged at Anise, who batted it away half-heartedly. He swung his sword diagonally but Anise blocked it easily. He tried a bunch of attacks that Anise blocked until she blocked an attack that left his chest wide open and kicked him.
Damn I have no chance Arthur thought, so he turned an ran.
"Running again?" Anise said.
He ran for miles without stopping and soon found himself in Clocktown. He saw Beat there and shouted to him.
"Hey!"
Beat turned around to look at him, he widened his eyes.
"Duck!"
Arthur ducked underneath a knife Anise had thrown at him.
"Damn you Grimsley!" she shouted. Arthur ran to Beat's side where he caught his breath.
"Ha...! Its two on one now...How do you...Feel about that?!" Arthur taunted.
Anise clenched her teeth, she was outnumbered and was doomed to fail until Drake came out of nowhere at her side and saw Beat with Arthur.
"Oh hello," He said and Skull King came aswell shouting:
"Drake get back here!"
When he saw his two enemies he made a decision to take down Beat and Arthur rather than Drake, but Drake sided with them.
"What are you doing?!" Skull King roared.
"Yeah what are you doing?" Arthur asked.
"These two are a hinderance in my plan, they need to be disposed of," Drake answered.
"Alright, but once these two are gone we go back to being enemies," Arthur replied.
"Thats fine with me, want to do the Master Jan?" Drake asked.
"Heh, you still remember that eh?" Arthur said.
"Whats a Master Jan?" Beat asked, but made Drake and Arthur laugh instead. "Oh yeah I have no weapon either!"
"Take my sword, I can use my magic and a magical sword anyway,"
"Thanks, lets go!" Beat said going for Skull King.
"Where do you think they are Mist?" Lukas asked.
"I don't know, over there?" Mist said pointing to Lon Lon Ranch.
"Really? Lon Lon Ranch?" Lukas replied, sarcastically.
"Hey this is the first time I've been here! And to be honest it needs some work," Mist said.
"Kayve needs alot of work," Lukas muttered.
"What was that?" Mist asked.
"Nothing, lets go to Kakariko Village, follow me," Lukas replied walking over to Kakariko Village.
"Where is it? I don't see it,"
"Up these steps..." Lukas said and heard sounds of battle. "Quickly!"
Lukas ran up the stairs and stopped to see Din lying on the floor with blood all around her and Finn fighting Farore. He stood still shocked.
"What?" Mist said and ran to his side and saw what he was looking at.
"Finn..." Lukas whispered. "You've changed so much..." He took his vial of water out of his bottle. He moved the water to where Finn was standing but he saw this too late and it caught his legs and Lukas froze them.
"Lukas! Help me!" Finn shouted.
"No, you're the one who needs help," he said. Farore had stopped fighting and put away her weapons.
"As soon as I'm out of this, you remaining goddesses are dead!" Finn shouted.
"I shall wait for your friend Beat to arrive but if he fails to convince Finn, then your friend will die,"
Anise dodged a swipe at her head from Arthur but then got sliced on her back by Drake. She moved out of the cycle that Arthur and Drake put her in.
"King Caleb!" Arthur shouted.
"Okay!" Drake responded.
Anise dodged an arrow from Arthur but had to block or parry Drake's attacks but dodge Arthur's arrows. As she was fighting Drake, Arthur shot three arrows at her and then charged a big magic arrow(actually shaped like an arrow)and fired it at her when she was halfway through dodging one arrow. Drake backed off and the arrow exploded where she stood.
All that was left was ashes.
"King Caleb was always my favourite," Drake said.
"Yeah mine too, come, lets get rid of Skull King,"
Beat wasn't having too hard a time, but he had to fight Skull King whilst he had several other Bone Soldiers attacking him.
Then suddenly they disappeared.
"What the-" Beat started to say before he realised Arthur and Drake got rid of them.
"Uncle Andy!" Drake shouted.
"What plan is that?" Beat asked.
"Hahaha later Beat," Arthur replied shooting several small magic arrows. Drake also shot balls of magic that followed its target, whilst Beat kept Skull King busy.
It all hit him and a cloud of smoke and dust appeared but Skull King was still alive.
"You think that will kill me?" He spat.
"No, but its close," Beat replied.
Drake shot some more balls of magic at him when he got pulled into a rift by Drazo.
"Damnit!" Arthur shouted. "Beat The Gentlemen lets do it!"
The Gentlemen? Beat thought and then he got it. He fought Skull King and Arthur ran behind Beat so Skull King wouldn't see him then he charged up one more magic arrow.
Beat stepped to the side.
"After you," He said when Skull King stumbled past him and into Arthurs magic arrow.
When the cloud of dust cleared Skull King lay there, dead.
Beat and Arthur both let of sighs of relief but then it dawned on them that they still had to stop Finn and get rid of Drake and Drazo.

Author's Notes:
The final chapter, the final fight. All is decided now! *R/R
As Finn sat frozen he glared at his former friend.
"You bastard! You've sided with these demons!" roared Finn.
"Finn, you aren't yourself! Look at you!" growled Lukas.
"Come on Din, pull through!" pleaded Farore. "Wake up! I need you to be my hard-headed sister who is always willing to argue!" she sobbed.
"Looks like the work of a true hero." growled Mist.
"They…"
"Shut up." snapped Farore. "Shut up damn you!"
"I need more water if you want him to stay frozen." sighed Lukas.
"I'll go look for some." nodded Mist.
"Farore, when are we?" asked Lukas turning to the mourning goddess.
"It's been a year since your original departure. None of the people have died yet. Beat's friends have all been carried off to a safe place." explained Farore.
"But what about our…"
"Do not be concerned about the flow of time, if we succeed in what we have planned, everything will be fixed." assured Farore.
"I've found a bucket, and I filled it at the well." called Mist running back up to them.
"Thank you." nodded Lukas. He then rose the water out of the bucket and froze Finn up to his neck.
"That's enough. But if Beat doesn't show up soon, I'll be killing Finn." growled Farore.
Beat ran as fast as he could, ignoring people going to inspect the damage left from the fight he and Arthur just escaped from. Once they were far enough from their fighting ground, Beat stopped and looked at Arthur.
"Well, now I've got all the Antriforce pieces." sighed Beat.
"What will happen now?" panted Arthur.
"I will be granted one wish, but it will come with a great price. The one who makes the wish will have to die." explained Beat.
"Are you willing to do this?" asked Arthur.
"Yeah, I know what I'll do. I'll wish Drazo was never born, created, or whatever the hell made him. If I wish that, Drake will never have a reason to trick Finn, sure we may lose memories, but this may cause all of this to never happen." replied Beat. Before he could continue he gasped in pain. "Yaaggh!"
"What is it?!?" gasped Arthur.
Beat looked at his left hand and choked when he saw the Antriforce of Rage fading into nothing.
"No! No no no!" he cried. "Not when I was so close!"
"What happened?" asked Arthur.
"Damn it Finn!" roared Beat. He tried to summon a flame but it didn't work. "He's killed her!"
"No!" gasped Arthur. "A goddess? He managed to kill the Goddess of Power Din?"
"Now I won't be able to use any magic!" growled Beat. "Screw Drake for right now! I'm going to Hyrule!"
"Fine. We go into the void and split up." nodded Arthur.
Beat tossed the crystal into the air, and when the rift opened he felt a tremendous evil waiting inside.
"Arrgh, Drake must've known we'd use the shard!" growled Beat.
Then a Beat felt himself being pulled into the rift. He struggled and fought to get away from the force, but was powerless. But then Arthur grabbed Beat and threw him back, causing himself to be pulled in instead.
"Find Finn, and get him out of this. I'll keep Drake and Drazo busy." shouted Arthur.
"Right!" nodded Beat. He turned and ran to the clock tower. It had been awhile since he had to travel this was.
Finn soon realized he couldn't use his magic anymore. He had tried desperately to teleport by failed every time.
"Idiot, Din had given you that magic. If she's dead you can't use it." snapped Farore.
"Finn whats happened to you?" asked Lukas.
"I haven't changed, I am still your friend!" called Finn.
"What a crock of shit!" spat Mist. "You were kind, caring and sympathetic! Now you're cynical and cruel!"
Mist's words stung Finn. He started sulking after she finished.
"Look at you! You really deserve to die!" snapped Farore. "You kill a goddess without flinching, and after a few harsh words you're sulking like a child who's been punished for not eating his food!"
Finn remained silent, he didn't have to take this. He was doing what had to be done.
Beat emerged from the Lost Woods with a determined look in his eyes. He had to hurry. He could feel a great magic coming from Kakariko.
"Either Nayru or Farore, but they aren't fighting. What's going on?" he panted. He continued on his way and tried to increase his pace. He had to hurry.
Arthur stood in a lifeless void where nothing but Drake and Drazo stood waiting.
"How do you like the remains of Aeorobis?" laughed Drake.
"So, you just kill an entire world without reason?" barked Arthur.
"Not without reason." chided Drake. "The world was in a state of war between the fortunate, and the deprived. I destroyed it using Lord Drazo's power to end their conflict." laughed Drake.
"Bastard!" shouted Arthur.
"Oh please Arthur, you know I'm right. Why didn't I destroy Kayve or Cybitril? Because the conflicts there was caused by Skull King! I was having Grimsley kill the Sins so Skull King would be defenseless!" shouted Drake. "I was purging the worlds filled with violence! I am the one doing the right thing!"
Arthur remained silent as Drake laughed madly. What had become of his old friend? He then recalled the decisions he and Drake had made.
"You don't have any regrets from our past do you?" growled Arthur.
"What's to regret? The only thing that went wrong was you refusing to accept the powers we were offered. That's my only regret, that you decided to become my enemy." laughed Drake.
"You made the mistake of accepting that power! Look at what you've become! You're nothing but Drazo's pawn!" growled Arthur.
"Shut up damn it! I made my decisions, and you've made yours. Accept it, and prepare to fight!" howled Drake.
Beat came to a stop when he reached the stairs to Kakariko. He leaned against the lone tree by the river, trying to catch his breath.
"Spirit's I need your help." he panted.
"Well you ain't gettin it!" snapped Green jumping down from the tree.
"I don't want you to fight with me, I want you to lend your strength to me. I think I can handle a fight if I have the strength of you two." replied Beat.
"It would help him. And he does have an Antriforce made by our goddesses." sighed Blue Spirit.
"Fine, but if either Nayru or Farore are hurt, I'll kill you!" snarled Green tearing of his mask.
"Trust me, I don't intend on letting any other goddesses get hurt." growled Beat.
"Then put on our masks." nodded Blue.
Beat accepted Blue's spirit mask and felt her power going into him. He caught Green's mask and placed it on his face. After he was fully rested, he walked up the stairs.
"That's it! I have waited too long, Finn dies now!" shouted Farore.
"Finn!" roared Beat skidding past the building they stood in front of.
"So he managed to reach here." sighed Mist.
"Finally we can talk some sense into…" started Lukas.
"You bastard!" roared Beat running up to Finn.
"Beat, you'll help me right?" laughed Finn.
Beat responded by planting a firm punch into Finn's face. Finn flew out of the ice encasement and fell onto his back, the sword falling from his grasp.
"What are you doing?" he gasped.
"You deserve a lot worse." growled Beat.
"Oh, I forgot. You're the little puppet used to protect these monsters." spat Finn getting up.
Beat then pounced on Finn and held Finn by the neck.
"You are way off buddy." laughed Beat. "I'm the monster!"
Finn gasped in pain as Beat slowly tightened his grip around his neck.
"You don't understand what these goddesses have to deal with!" hissed Beat. "They have to face their imperfections, look what they caused. Me, a hot headed kid with the power of a god. Jacob, a narcissist who could control others fears. Skull King, a man who had just wanted to reclaim his kingdom corrupted by greed! They were responsible for it, but they tried to fix it. They gave me the tools to fix the problem. And I had a plan to fix all of this, but you just had to go and fuck it up!" shouted Beat.
Finn struggled under Beat's grasp and choked for breath. The only one who seemed conceded by his suffering it was Lukas, who stared in silence.
"Lessen your grip or he'll die." sighed Farore.
"Fine, once he gives me his Triforce." growled Beat. "Give it to me, and I'll be able to restore Din."
"Ne..nev..never!" gasped Finn.
Beat let Finn fall to the ground, and then kicked him in his stomach. He continued to kick until a strange light encircled him. When Beat realized what was protecting Finn, he increased the ferocity of his assault.
"You bastard! How dare you use that after what you've done?" roared Beat punching at the golden light.
Lukas and Mist watched as Beat attacked the Triforce protecting Finn. They couldn't move, watching the frenzied antics of their friend.
"You give me that damn Triforce! Give it to me now!" he roared.
Arthur had to try hard to keep from being overwhelmed by Drazo's massive claws and Drake's constant assaults. He tried to fight from a distance, but Drazo would always force him to get closer to Drake.
"Whats the matter old friend? Can't you fight when your enemy is right on top of you?" laughed Drake.
"Damn it." growled Arthur taking a slash across the leg.
"Don't worry, I'll make this long and painful." cackled Drake.
Beat finally stopped when he ran out of breath. He stood right outside of the light caused by the Triforce, panting.
"Why is his Triforce still there?" whispered Mist into Farore's ear.
"Din is clinging to the last remains of her life. As long as she is breathing, Finn will be protected." replied Farore.
"You hear that Finn? Even after all you've done, Din is still protective you!" shouted Lukas.
Finn gritted his teeth as he prepared for another assault from Beat, who was now mostly recovered.
"I think I'll join you in the light." snickered Beat snapping his fingers. He then fell into a rift in the ground and landed right next to Finn.
"What the?" gasped Finn.
"Bye bye." growled Beat, punching Finn into a spiral caused by the magic of the Antriforce of Fear.
Finn then landed inside the well and struggled to climb out. Once he had escaped the water Beat pushed him into another rift. Finn stumbled out right into Beat's waiting fist. He doubled over in pain and felt Beat grab him again.
"How does it feel?" he laughed throwing Finn against a wall of a building. "To be beaten to a pulp? I doubt it's fun." he growled slamming Finn's head against a window. "You did this to Din, and you won't be given a chance to try it on Farore or Nayru!"
Finn fell to the ground and Beat began to laugh. In his hand he held the Triforce of Power. He tossed it at Din and she was engulfed in light. Once the light died down, Din sat hunched over, alive and breathing.
"Now, it's time to make things right." growled Beat.
"Wait! What about Arthur?" gasped Lukas running up to Beat.
"He is fighting Drake and Drazo, and once I make my wish, he'll win." sighed Beat.
"Are you sure about doing this?" asked Din, looking at him.
"Yeah, what's one life to the lives of everyone in every world?" laughed Beat. "But to be honest, I don't want to die. I hate leaving my friends unprotected, but this will fix so many other things." he cried. A small smile spread across his face as he turned to Farore. "Keep everyone safe."
"Right." nodded the goddess.
Finn groaned as he sat up and saw Beat holding his left hand out. Slowly three black triangles formed above him. The one on the bottom glowed with a green light, the left glowed red, and the right glowed blue.
"The completed Antriforce?" gasped Finn.
"Antriforce, grant my dark wish. I wish the creature known as Lord Drazo never existed!" shouted Beat. The three pieces of the Antriforce circled around him, slowly shining brighter. When they grew as bright as they could, they plunged into Beat's chest.
"Your wish shall be granted, at the cost of your life." murmured Din.
Beat fell to the ground, and smiled as the lights faded. He had finally done it.
Arthur was cut in several places, and he was laying on the ground. Drazo crossed his vision, and raised a large claw.
"Prepare to die!" laughed the monster.
Arthur braced himself, and wished his son would remain safe after he was gone. But right as the claw was about to strike him a bright light flashed.
"What?" gasped Arthur looking at where Drazo once stood. Nothing remained there.
"Lord Drazo?" gasped Drake. "Come back! You took my powers! I can't use my magic!"
"Good, now it's a fair fight." growled Arthur cracking his knuckles. He rose and walked towards his hated enemy.
Lukas held Mist as she cried. Din silently cried where she sat. Farore remained calm and turned to Finn.
"Do you see now? Even after our mistakes caused so much suffering for him, Beat still fought through it. He knew we had a plan." she explained to Finn.
"So you planned on having him die?!?" growled Finn.
"No, he just got his wish before we could arrive." sighed Nayru walking up to her sister.
Finn looked to see Nayru accompanied by Richard, Link, and the princess.
"Richard!" laughed Lukas running up his friend.
"Lukas, you're alright." smiled Richard. "Good to see you again."
"We were too late!" growled Link.
"I'm sorry, but those Bone Soldiers were hard to beat. That stupid armor was hard to cut through." grumbled Richard.
"What will we do now?" asked Zelda.
"I don't know." muttered Farore.
"Beat gave his life to rid the worlds of a great evil." announced Arthur limping up to them.
"Dad?" gasped Finn.
"Even without his magic, Drake is quite a tough opponent. But luckily I managed to pull through." laughed Arthur.
"Wait, I think I've got an idea! We can use the Triforce to wish for Beat back!" laughed Link.
"Sorry, but that wouldn't work." sighed Din.
"What about wishing for things to go back to the way they were before?" suggested Finn. "We wish for our worlds to be returned to normal?"
"But then we'd never meet!" gasped Lukas.
"I know, but you'll be with your family, and"
"And I'll be shunned by the village again!" snapped Lukas.
"But we should fix the worlds! Think of Zachari and his home! All the lives lost because of this!" argued Finn.
"We can pull a few strings on this." laughed Nayru.
"Arrange for you all to meet after the worlds are repaired, possible." nodded Din.
"Just make the wish." sighed Farore.
Link held out his left hand, releasing the Triforce of Courage. Zelda did the same with her right hand, and released the Triforce of Wisdom. Then Din raised both hands and manifested the final Triforce piece. The three pieces assembled and created the Triforce.
"Finn make the wish." nodded Nayru.
"Me?" gasped Finn.
"Son, you can fix all of this. Make the wish." replied Arthur.
Finn swallowed the lump growing in his throat, and stepped up to the magical item. He cleared his throat, and made his wish.
"Oh great Triforce, grant me my wish! Return all the worlds to the way they were before this whole journey began!" shouted Finn.
Everyone present was then swallowed by a bright light as the magic engulfed them. Soon the light faded, and nobody remained except the goddesses.
"They did it." cheered Din.
"But now, only we will recall this ordeal." sighed Nayru.
"The unknown journey of two great heroes." muttered Farore.
"Doesn't have a nice ring to it." laughed Din. "How about, 'The Unknown Saga'?"
"The Unknown Saga of two great heroes, sounds better than Farore's idea." laughed Nayru.
"Oh shut up." growled Farore. "We've got a promise to keep. Let's get to work."

Beat and Richard joked as they headed towards the exit of Kakariko.
"So you left him there?" laughed Richard.
"Wouldn't you? He was trying to eat my hair!" replied Beat.
"That's true. I guess any sane person would run." sighed Richard.
"Alright come on, Zelda's waiting for us." nagged Navi flitting out of Beat's pocket.
"Get back in there!" shouted Beat grabbing at her.
"Oh yeah. What did that letter say anyway?" yawned Richard.
"Nothing important. Just said to get to the castle." shrugged Beat.
Beat then saw a blue fairy floating by and decided to catch it.
"Beat hurry up we've got to go now," Richard told Beat.
"Yeah, yeah one sec...aha! Got it!" Beat exclaimed.
"Got what?"
"None of your business," teased Beat.
"Woah, Deja vu, I swear you've said that before!" gasped Richard.
"Yeah, I know what you mean." sighed Beat. "Come on, we've got to return our room key. Then off to the princess."
Finn was with Lukas, a boy he had met who came from another world. He had told Finn that he had the ability to control water, but Finn just ignored t.
"I'm being honest, I can." growled Lukas.
"And I'm telling you that's a load of crap." laughed Finn. "Now come on, we've got to get that milk thief."
"Whatever." sighed Lukas.
They headed up the stairs to Kakariko and while they talked, Finn bumped into a boy who matched the description of the thief, except for clothing colors.
"Oh, hehe, sorry guess I wasn't payin attention." laughed the boy.
"Hey, you guys look familiar." noted the older of the two.
"Yeah, have we met before?" asked the younger.
"I doubt it." shrugged Finn.
"Are you the man described in this?" asked Lukas handing the younger the sheet he carried.
"Huh? Let's see here. Tall? Check. Dark hair? Check. Gerudo skin? Check. Completely dressed in orange? Nope. You're looking for Sid, but he's already been arrested. Sorry." laughed the younger one. "I'm Beat, Beat Grimsley."
"Finn," nodded Finn. "This is Lukas." he said indicating his friend.
"I'm Richard." introduced the older boy.
"Hey you two! Quit yapping and get moving! Zelda is waiting for you guys!" growled Navi.
"Oh right, hehe. See you two later." laughed Beat.
"Nice meeting you." nodded Richard.
Finn and Lukas watched as the two ran towards the castle town.
"Weird. I feel like I met them before." muttered Finn.
"Me too." agreed Lukas. "But now we've got no job to do!" he groaned.
"Damn it, you're right!" gasped Finn. "Back to the town, we need a new job!"
Beat and Richard arrived to find a very distressed princess.
"Hey there Princess, what'd you need us for?" greeted Beat walking up to her in the throne room.
"I have heard that Skull King's been in the area. I think he's planning something!" explained Zelda.
"Oh please your majesty." laughed the royal adviser Drake. "Some man made of bones doesn't stand a chance against your new captain of the guard. He's got mad skills." he added.
"I do wish you'd stop saying that about me Drake." sighed Arthur.
"Oh hey there Arthur." nodded Richard.
"Ah, Richard. Come to resume your post?" joked Arthur.
"Sorry, I'm a permanent member of the Sage's Army." sighed Richard.
"Excuse me, Arthur your son has come to see you." informed Isaac running up to the captain.
"Ah, thank you." laughed Arthur. "Lead the way."
Drake accompanied his old friend to meet his visitor.
"Heh, I'd like to meet his son. Arthur is such a great man, there's no doubt his son is a good person." laughed Beat.
"What the hell do you mean you can't do anything about the behest board? Half of those jobs are stupid! They're more of a joke than a job!" shouted Finn.
"Finn come on stop! You're causing a scene." groaned Lukas.
"I must agree with you there." laughed Drake.
"Oh hey. Where's Dad?" greeted Finn calming down.
"I'm right behind you." replied Arthur tapping his son on the shoulder.
"Ah, the old behest board. Remember all the jobs we did?" sighed Drake.
"Yeah, they were ridiculous. But always fun. We met a ton of great people. I even met a man named Martin Grimsley once. An amazing fighter, I'm just glad he was on our side." agreed Arthur.
"Finn, Lukas, don't think that just because the job sounds stupid, doesn't mean it isn't worth the time to try. Look at this one, 'Girl in need of tour guide. New to Hyrule, and need help getting used to the lay of the land.' You two should go check it out." suggested Drake.
"It does sound fun to show a girl around Hyrule." sighed Finn.
"All right let's go check it out." agreed Lukas.
The pair tore the page down and headed for the address given on it.
"Just like us, Eh Arthur?" laughed Drake.
"Ah, I miss those good old days. I want to use some of our old tactics." sighed Arthur.
"Uncle Andy?" suggested Drake.
"Not here. We'll show the guards." laughed Arthur.
"Zelda, it's no like you to be worked up over Skull King. We've beaten all of his Sins before. And I beat him, so he can still be recovering. I don't think it's that big of a deal." sighed Beat.
"I know, I just thought that'd be a good lie to tell Drake and Arthur. I want you, Beat, to go do what you said you wanted to do." laughed Zelda.
"I'm so lost right now." sighed Richard holding his face in his palm.
"All right, where is she?" nodded Beat.
"I think she was visiting Gwen. Go ahead to the Rusty Dagger." advised the princess.
"Alright, Richard come on." laughed Beat dragging Richard along.
"Why're we going to visit Gwen?" groaned Richard as they ran through town.
"It's not Gwen we're visiting. It's Ivy." argued Beat.
"Oh now it's clear." sighed Richard.
When Finn and Lukas found their employer they gasped. The girl swore she never met them before, but she seemed so familiar. She said her name was Mist, and she seemed like a bossy person.
"I'm so glad somebody decided to help me out." laughed Mist. "I'm sorry I can't pay you that much, I'm new to the whole money system. Where I'm from we would either hunt or gather our food."
"It's not a problem." nodded Lukas.
"What do you mean it not a prob…" started Finn.
"Listen," hissed Lukas grabbing Finn by the ear. "I want to help her out!"
"Fine." moaned Finn rubbing his ear.
Mist laughed at their arguing and she could tell why the pair thought they knew her. They seemed so familiar.
"Hey, Cyril!" laughed a boy opening the door.
"Hey, Beat. Careful Gwen's working today." warned the barkeeper.
"Daddy!" moaned the barmaid handing out drinks. "Hey you two." she nodded.
"Gwen." replied Beat.
"Hey it's you two!" laughed Finn walking up to them.
"Hey, Finn. You guys haven't been getting a hard time from Gwen have you?" asked Richard.
"Hey!" snapped Gwen jerking her head back.
"Ach!" shouted a man as she spilled a hot cup of Din's Blessing on his lap.
"Sorry." apologized Gwen.
"Hey Beat." greeted a girl walking down from the stairs.
"Ivy, as beautiful as ever." sighed Beat.
The girl blushed and walked up to him and gave him a hug.
"Who're your friends?" she asked.
"This one is Finn, the blue haired one is Lukas, and I don't believe we've met yet ma'am." laughed Richard pointing everyone out.
"I'm Mist." introduced the girl.
"Pleasure." nodded Beat. He could feel she didn't like him for some reason.
"Well it was nice to bump into you two again, but we've got to guide Mist around Hyrule." apologized Finn. "It was nice to meet you Ivy."
"Bye." waved Lukas following behind Finn and Mist.
"Hey, need some extra guides? I was about to ask Ivy here to travel around the world with me. We could show you some other countries besides Hyrule." offered Beat. "That is, if Ivy would like to go."
"I don't mind." laughed Ivy.
"What do you say? Wanna join them?" asked Lukas.
"Sounds fun." laughed Finn.
"Sure let's go!" cheered Mist.
"Alright, now go and get out of here!" ordered Gwen.
The group walked out and laughed as Beat started mocking her.
"Trust me you'll love Hyrule." laughed Lukas. "I'm not from here either, but I love this place like it's my own home."
"Heh, it's my home. So I have to love it." shrugged Beat.
"Alright show me someplace that has a lot of water, I love sailing." laughed Mist.
"Would you like an ocean, or a lake?" asked Beat.
"Hmm, I'd like to see an ocean." chose Mist.
"Than follow me to the forest. The path to the ocean goes through the Lost Woods. It'll be a fun little trip. Once we get to Termina I'll show you a swamp, a snow covered mountain, a giant canyon, and an amazing ocean. Ocean first of course." explained Beat.
"I'm a little skeptical about going to the forest. I've heard weird stories about that place." muttered Finn.
"Don't worry, our friend Link lives there. We visit him all the time, so it'll be fine." laughed Ivy.
"Link?" thought Finn. "Why does that sound so familiar?"
The three goddesses watched their newly made world.
"I think we've outdone ourselves this time." laughed Din.
"Who would've thought that by preventing Drazo's creation, Drake would remain loyal to his friend?" sighed Nayru.
"I'd say we did an excellent job. They all are friends again, and they'll grow closer than before." stated Farore.
"Well things can always be fixed with a strong desire." grinned Din. "You just have to prove you deserve it!"
"Thats not really a good way to sum it all up." groaned Nayru.
"Trust me, things will be good for them. They've proven their determination to fix their worlds. This doesn't need a philosophical ending. It's just a happy one." laughed Farore.
"I guess you're right." sighed Din.
"Yeah, that's a good way of summing it all up. If this was a story it probably end something like this." agreed Nayru.
"I can't wait to see how their children turn out." laughed Din.
