Prologue
The devil had failed to drink the undying waters of the Fountain of Youth. Michael, Link, and Zelda had thought they had defeated the devil forever. But they had not. Only one man... god can destroy Diatheleser forever.
Diatheleser returns to his temple after calling for recruits to retrieve him.
"Sir," said the monster, "How did the mission go?"
"The fountain has been destroyed!!!!!!, shrieked Diatheleser. "Though there is one last element that can assist me in taking over the world. Send word to find as much information as possible about the sacred 'stone'. And there are two people that had ruined my plans for drinking the fountain's water. A boy named Link and Zelda, a princess of Hyrule. Find them and bring them to me!"
"Where are their locations sir?," asked the monster.
"That is what you are to find out," said Diatheleser.
"Yes sir, we will get on it right away!"
The monster sent word to send out their Thrella Knights. They left the castle in haste hoping to catch these two Hylians before they figure out that they are being searched for.
They had reached the village Kethro and asked the villagers about any Link or Zelda. They hadn't heard of Link. But they knew that Zelda was in the castle. They returned to Athaldu Castle to tell the devil.
"Sir," the monster said, "we have found the location of the princess."
"Then send out the knights to find her!!!!!," yelled Diatheleser, "How much more dimwitted can you get?!?!?"
"It will be done sir!"
Zelda's Kidnapping. by SPartan 119
Zelda's Kidnapping
Link left the castle. He and Saria had become friends again so he decided to visit her for breakfast. Accept this time she knew that he was a Hylian.
He made it to her house. It was early summer. The forest was beginning to have that mulchy smell again and it would become very humid.
He knocked on her doorpost. She had gotten a door while Link was gone on his previous quest. A nice little privacy addition.
He knocked again. "Come in," Saria said from inside.
Link walked into the small house that was still in perfect condition. Saria already had the food ready on the table. Though nothing new. Raspberries in a bowl. A nice large loaf of bread. And a slice of fresh fish. All of it was baked to perfection.
"Sit down," Saria demanded.
He sat down and Saria offered him some food.
He took some bread and a few raspberries. No fish.
"So where were you the entire time?" asked Saria. "You led that tall man into the woods and as soon as you left you never returned. Well you did return but not for a few weeks. And where did you get those scars on your face?"
Link explained everything from the scars on his face down to the reason why he was gone so long.
"Oh," said Saria, "and to think I was still mad when you came back from the journey."
"Dont worry about it," said Link. "I forgive."
"Thanks"
What happened to my old house anyway?"
"Mido and a gang of other boys got axes and chopped it down," said Saria, "I didn't try to stop them though, I was to angry."
Link stared blankly at the wall.
"Im sorry Link, I was just... angry I guess."
Link regained his composure. "I have to leave," he said, "See ya later!"
He went back to Hyrule field and decided to go the Lon Lon Ranch. Malon there was one of his friends. She promised him a horse "if" he was able to beat two laps in 45 seconds on the obstacle course. He hadn't defeated it before. But he decided to try. He mounted a horse and did the obstacle course in 46.19 seconds. He dismounted and left.

The knights were advancing on the castle. Each step they moved brought darkness closer and closer to the castle.
"Have they reached the castle yet?" asked Diatheleser.
"No sir, but they are advancing on it." said the monster.
"They should have stormed the castle by now!!!!!!!!" said Diatheleser infuriated. "Can't you move your men any faster?!?!?!"
"Sir," the monster said, "our men are moving at great speeds. It is a long distance the the castle."
"Do not talk back to me!!!!!" Dia' then raised into an enormous hight. The dark throne room which he and the monster currently resided in grew even darker than it had before. Diatheleser's shadow spread throughout the room frightening the now peuny monster. Diatheleser then retracted to normal.
"Do you wish for me to kill you like I did your peuny master Merthes?" asked Diatheleser in a calm voice.
"N-no sir, I-I do not wish to die," said the monster with a cowardice voice.
"No one does, talk back to me again and you shall pay!!!"

Michael was still in Perthemia enjoying his life. He was currently at a bar with his old friends. They were always drunk though. Drank continuously over and over again. But they were still friends to Michael.
"I'd better go," said Michael.
"Where to?" asked one of his few unintoxicated friends.
"I've gotta go check on something."
"k' see ya'."
Michael left the bar. It was storming hard. He had to go check on Link and Zelda. He felt that evil was again stirring in Hyrule. He took his bow (now his favorite weapon), plenty of arrows, a sword, and food.
***
The knights had finally reached their destination. The quietly sneaked past the two guards in Hyrule Market. The last knight that passed through killed them both with ease. They killed every knight guarding the castle and barged down the large door. They killed all the knights inside.
***
Zelda was in her room reading a book. She was unawair that the knights were in the castle right now. She was reading one of the books that Michael gave to her years ago. It was her spell book. She was very experienced by now and could conjure very powerful magics such as "hellfire" and "heaven's light" but nowhere near pefection.
The knights slipped into the last hallway leading to her room. The barged open every door and killed everything in sight. They opened Zelda's door.
She was shocked. She looked up to see the faceless hooded knights looking straight at her. One of the knights grabbed Zelda by the neck. She did implosion but he avoided it. They quickly grabbed her hands and tied them with an onyx chain. She was defenseless. They whipped her and dragged her off.
Link could sense something right when Zelda was whipped. He sensed pain. He quickly ran to the castle to find everyone except a few people killed. He ran to Zelda's room. He spotted some blood on her bedroom floor. But she was gone. He left to find the king to tell him that Zelda had been kidnapped.
Interigation and Suffering by SPartan 119
Interigation and Suffering
Link ran into the king’s room only to find him on the floor bleeding. Link went to his side and checked for a pulse. Blood was flowing and he was still breathing but he needed assistance immediately.
“Impa!!!” Link called… no response. “Impa!!” he called again. No response. He called three more times and still no response.
He ran outside into Hyrule Market hoping to find a doctor. Hyrule Market was just like the castle. It was lifeless and everything was killed. And the things that weren’t killed had long left. He ran back into the king’s room hoping to find some way to heal him. He thought of nothing.
“Wait,” he said to himself. “That book Michael gave to Zelda years ago!”
He ran up into Zelda’s room. The blood on the floor had stained into the carpet. He looked on Zelda’s bed and saw two books. He opened one of them and looked all throughout it.
“Damn it!” he said to himself as he realized that all of the language was enfaillan. But on the back of the book he noticed the incantation and the effects of a healing spell in Hylian. “How fortunate,” he said to himself as he memorized the incantation.
He ran back down into the king’s room, knelt at his side, closed his eyes, and said the incantation, “Uana, Yamir, Geldor”… no response. He said it again… no response. He said it more frequently. Saying it over and over again. Though on his last try. He said the incantation one last time. “Uana, Yamir, Geldor” Then suddenly the effect worked. The king’s blood disappeared, and the paleness retracted. Link knew he said the spell but it didn’t come from his hand. He looked back and saw Michael with half a smile on his face, his arm outstretched as if he had just launched a spell.
“You always come at crucial moments,” said Link beginning to smile.
“Hey that’s just the way I work,” said Michael.
“Listen, Michael… we have a problem.”
“What is it?”
“Zelda, she’s been… she’s been kidnapped…”
“Okay, yeah… that’s a bit of an issue. What are the clues we have?”
“Well, Zelda is missing, that’s the biggest clue. Blood splatter is found on the carpet in her room. And we recently destroyed the plots for the evil king… what else is new?
“Well, said Michael, she also knows about the philosopher’s stone doesn’t she?
“Yeah,” said Link. “So… what does it add up too?”
“I know where Zelda is,” said Michael.
“I do too but where is his castle?”
“Well look for a dark scary palace on top of a big hill with a huge lightning storm. Ya can’t miss it!” said Michael with one eye closed.
“Yeah that just about gives it away, but where in ‘Hyrule’?”
“North of Kethro,” said Michael.
“Yeah, we’re going on another adventure. I’m going to need something a little bigger than this sword and shield. They’re tiny. Can you get me another one?”
Michael pulled out a sword from the wall that he lodged in a few years ago when he met Link.
“A token of remembrance from yours truly,” said Michael with a smile on his face.
“Yeah, back when you beat the crap out of me,” said Link growing a half smile.
“Yep,” said Michael, “good times they were!”
“I’m also going to need a shield, I think this thing shrank,” said Link.
“Nah,” said Michael, “you just grew.”
Michael then took another shield off the wall and handed it to Link. “This might come in useful.”
***
Zelda was blindfolded by the time she got to Kethro. She was taken up an extremely long flight of stairs and entered through a massive door. She walked for about three hundred yards until she reached the throne. The blindfold was stripped off her face making skin peal off with it. She began to cry fearing what they might do to her. She was forced to kneel before him.
“You know about the philosopher’s stone,” said Diatheleser. Tell me… where is it now?”
“I-I don’t know, said Zelda trying to regain her composure.”
“Lies!!!!” yelled Dia’ as he threw his hand onto her forehead and yelled, “Ilamithandir”.
She felt an extremely harsh and sharp serge of pain flow down her spinal cord.
She screamed in pain as the tears flowed even faster. The onyx chains that were forcing her wrists together were beginning to tear off her skin there too making it only worse. She fell onto her side in pain.
“Pathetic mortal,” said Dia’, “you’re the largest infidel I’ve ever tortured.”
“I-I am no mortal,” said Zelda, “I have drunk from the fountain of youth. And I am no infidel either.”
Diatheleser’s eyes went wide as she said this. “Do you know about the stone?”
No answer…
He forced his arm back onto her forehead and said the incantation “Ilamithandir!!!!” Except this time it hurt much more than it had before.
Zelda screamed in pain. Tears began to roll down her face faster as the pain settled. She finally closed her eyes falling into an unconscious state.
***
As Link and Michael walked into Kethro they noticed a cross in the distance. They ran up to the cross fearing that Zelda might have been killed. She wasn’t killed. But she was on the cross. She wasn’t wearing her normal dress. She was wearing a gray tunic. A gray tunic in Endfall signified that your soul had been defeated. Endfall wear their clothes by what mood they are in not how much you care about yourself.
“No,” said Michael. He ran up and undid the onyx chains that were keeping her up.
She fell down from the cross into Link’s open arms.
“We need to get her hospitalized!” said Link.
They rented a room at a nearby inn to stay the night. Hoping that Zelda would have regained her energy by morning. They knew they couldn’t stay in one place for long.
Zelda slowly opened her eyes. Link was sitting on a chair next to her bed. And Michael was standing by a window looking out onto the night-view of Kethro.
“Can’t we do anything for her?” asked Link.
“No,” said Michael. “If we use medicine on her the poison on the onyx chains will mix with the medicine making a massive problem.”
“So all we can do is watch her pain?” asked Link disappointed.
“Yes,” said Michael, “I’m afraid that it is all we can do.”
“L-Li-Link?” said Zelda slowly turning her head towards his.
Link smiled and nodded.
“Zelda, we need to know exactly what happened to you. Can you tell us?
“Well,” Zelda began, “At the castle black knights took over. They kidnapped me and blindfolded me in Kethro. They took me up a large flight of stairs. It was raining… or something. I was taken through this extremely large doorway and a long throne room. There Diatheleser asked me the location of the Philosopher’s stone. I said I didn’t know, he extremely hurt me with this spell. I don’t remember what it was called though. Then he called me pathetic. He then asked me about the stone. I didn’t answer. He hurt me again but much more extremely than he did before. I then went unconscious. I re-awoke in a different room. Some creature ordered that I should be stripped and put in a gray tunic. They then noticed I was awake and knocked me out. Then I woke up just now…”
“Diatheleser… hurt… you!?!?!?!” said Link infuriated. “I’m so sorry I couldn’t help Zelda I was”-Zelda interrupted him.
“It’s okay Link, it wasn’t your fault…”
She slowly lay her head back down and turned her head away from Link.
“Will she be okay?” asked Link?
“The poison is setting in,” said Michael. “She’ll have a very rough night. But by morning she should be alright.”
She slowly closed her eyes, hoping Michael wasn’t right.
“Good night,” said Link as he kissed her cheek.
***
That night Zelda had an awful dream:
She had awoken in Hyrule field. All around her was dark evil. It was perpetual darkness. In the distance she saw three lights. They were green, red, and blue. She ran up to them and she saw the goddesses each in their own individual light. They had black eyes and evil grins though.
“W-What is going?" she asked.
“You believed in the wrong creator mortal!!!” said Nayru. “Now all of earth shall pay!!!”
“The one you love, the hero, has died,” said Din, I hope you’re disappointed. Because we like unhappy deaths!!!!
***
Zelda awoke immediately. She was frightened. The dream seemed… prophetic. If this were to happen, they would have a major problem.
“Zelda, are you all right?” asked Link from his bed. It was 1:00 in the morning so it seemed odd.
“I had… a prophetic dream.”
“What was it about?”
Zelda then explained the dream she had just minutes before.
“I highly doubt it’s prophetic,” said Link. “Michael said that you were intoxicated with poison. It was just a dream.”
“It wasn’t a dream,” said Zelda. “I think it was a prophecy, it’s not like we haven’t had those before!”
“I still think you’re wrong, but neither of us can prove it, we’ll just have to wait.”
They both went back to sleep and woke up refreshed the next morning…
Reconnaissance Mission by SPartan 119
The next morning, Link, Michael, and Zelda went up toward the Athaldu castle. Their plan was to spy on the enemy and see what move they would do next.
“Michael,” Zelda began, “I think I had a prophetic dream last night.”
“And I doubt she had one,” said Link raising one eyebrow.
“The poison on the chain can cause some prophesizing to occur in dreams,” said Michael. “There is a very good chance that the dream she had will happen. And I believe it will happen… What was the dream about?”
“It was about the goddesses,” Zelda began, “They had turned the world into total darkness… then they said Link died, and that they enjoyed my pain… Why would they do that though?”
“I think why they would do that is because of their jealousy,” said Michael. “They had come after Endfall was destroyed thinking that Amnir would not barge into their Hyrule. But as soon as he tries to retake the land, they will, get sort of… you know, pissed off, let's call it. Then they will try to take over the world.”
“I don’t want the goddesses to betray their own people, it doesn’t seem like it would fit in. Do you know what I’m talking about?”
“Er… no not really,” said Link, “Well it doesn’t matter we’ve got a bigger problem than just prophetic dreams.” Link happened to get in an eye’s range of a guard. The guard called for help and out came about one hundred men.
“This could be a bit of a problem,” said Michael with his left eye twitching. “Um, I’d figured that you two might have had enough intellectual capacity not to tell you this but, hide!!!!!!”
Michael climbed up a tree and aimed his bow at a leading guard heading towards them. As soon as they were within a hundred yard’s range he fired. The leading guard died. Michael then pulled out 20 arrows and launched the barrage, twenty-one guards down, and seventy-nine to go. He pulled out 10 more arrows and launched. Eight of them hit but the other two soldiers lifted their shields. As soon as they were within a ten-yard’s range Michael jumped out of the tree and did a spin attack in the middle of the 63-soldier group. The spin attack killed six people. He jumped into the air and used the soldiers’ head as a walking path. He made it to the top of a tree and fired more arrows, killing ten more soldiers. This left 47 soldiers left.
Link jumped out from within a pile of rocks and fired ten arrows as quickly as possible. He hit eight soldiers leaving thirty-nine left. He lifted himself up onto the pile of rocks and did a jump attack. He killed three soldiers. One of the larger soldiers grabbed him by the neck and threw him against a wall. His head banged hard against the onyx stone knocking him out cold.
Zelda however was having an easy time fending off the enemy. She had killed 16 soldiers with heavens light. This left only 23 soldiers left. But now it was time for her most powerful incantation. She knelt down to the floor and put both hands down. She screamed “Diasen, Klemu, Mikairo, tygma!” This was the incantation for “hellfire.”
Suddenly where all the knights were holes formed under them and fire spewed out killing the rest. She was exhausted now.
Michael extended his arm to help Zelda onto her feet. Link was nowhere to be found though. It was as if he was defeated and then disappeared.
“Where did Link go,” asked Zelda.
“Link, he was K.O.’d and then taken inside the temple. “Just the way we planned.”
Link was dragged into the temple. Unbeknownst to the people dragging him he was still totally conscious. He was listening to what they had said.
“My belly aches,” said a monster on the left. “Let’s eat him.”
“He is not for eating!” said the monster on the right.
“Oh c’mon, he’s bruised up just the way I like it!”
“The devil will know what to do with him, in the meantime, try to keep yourself from devouring the mortal.”
“Yes master.”
Link, being dragged by his wrists, was beginning to ache at the forearm. They had been traveling up the same staircase for ten minutes now and it was beginning to get a little irritating.
Michael had suited up like one of the soldiers from before. He took its armor and its clothing. He walked up to where Link was being dragged and said “Men, we are planning an attack on Kakariko Village, report to the warlord immediately.” The two soldiers turned their backs to go to the warlord. Michael took out two arrows and shot them both. He then unchained Link from his wristband and helped him up.
“You certainly took my sweat time,” said Link. “A few more minutes and I might have been in one of those troll’s belly.”
“Yeah, it’s good to see you too,” said Michael, “but we’re not done yet. We still have to make it look like we didn’t kill them.”
Michael and Link then dragged the bodies outside and buried them within the pile of rocks Link jumped out of earlier. They ran back inside. Link again forced himself to look like he was unconscious while Michael dragged him in. They entered the large door and walked through the extremely large throne room.
Michael was face to face with Dia’ for the second time. He felt an urge to just pull out his sword and lunge at him. He resisted the temptation though.
“You may leave,” said Dia’ speaking to Michael.
Michael left the throne room and killed the two trolls that opened the door to the throne room. He listened to Link and Dia’s conversation.
“You are Link, are you not?” asked Diatheleser.
Link wouldn’t answer, he had to act like he was unconscious.
“You are still unconscious! Then I shall awake you!!!”
He lunged his hand onto Links forehead and yelled the incantation “Ilamithandir!!!!”
Link felt the surge of pain going down his spinal cord.
He immediately opened his eyes wide and crunched his teeth together. A cut formed on the inside of his mouth. Blood was flooding in his mouth and he spit it out in Dia’s direction.
“Respect less runt!!!!” Dia’ yelled infuriated.
Michael forced open the doors and in the distance he could barely see Dia’. He got out his bow and pulled back as hard as he could and let go. The arrow was blessed with the “heaven’s light” incantation. The arrow hit Dia’ straight in the heart. The shadow body that Dia’ had was cracked and light rays forced out from within him. Dia’ screamed in pain as the light took over his miserable body.
Michael dragged Link out of the temple and laid him down on the gray rock outside.
Link was beginning to fade. The Ilamithandir spell was three times more powerful than the spell that Zelda had been cursed by.
After two more minutes of dragging Link into Kethro he finally became unconscious.
“That’s twice that Dia’ had done a number on our group,” said Zelda.
Michael then carried Link on his back and they walked into the Kokiri Forest.
***
Diatheleser was healed five hours later.
A soldier came up to him and said, “You ordered a man that said you should speak to the warlord. A ‘human’ looking soldier told me that and I reported to him, but he said that there was no such order.”
“Hmmm,” said Diatheleser. “The mortals gave me an idea! Have the soldiers ready for a major attack by morning. We will take Hyrule Market down!!! They will know what ‘tru’ pain feels like!!!”
***
Michael set up camp. He gave Link some medicine to heal his pain.
“Damn it, that hurt!!!” said Link regaining consciousness.
“It only lasts for ten hours,” said Michael looking down at Link. “The medicine quickens the healing time. You have two more hours of pain.”
“I didn’t know it would hurt ‘that’ much,” said Link sitting up.
“Shit it still hurts!!! That bastard!
“Don’t worry about it,” said Michael. “It’s just a pain spell, it ain’t gonna kill ya!”
“I know but still it hurts!”
“I’ve felt it before,” said Michael, “you get used to the pain.”
Link tried going to sleep but the pain was too harsh. He couldn’t do anything about it.
After the two hours time the pain had stopped. Though he still feared that the pain would occur again. He stayed up late that night and went to sleep at 2:00 AM.
***
Diatheleser’s army was now ready for combat. It consisted of ten thousand men, five mountain trolls, and a dragon.
“I do not need the philosopher’s stone to take over the world,” said Dia’. “It would just make it easier. But still, have men search for information on it at all times…”
Link slowly opened his blue eyes to the rising sun. It's about 6:00 AM but he isn't tired at all. He lifts himself off the floor. He walks to a small pond and quenches his thirst. After having cured his parched throat he goes deeper into the sacred forest to find none other than Saria sitting on the same usual stump, with her same usual ocarina in hand, and playing the same usual song.
"What's up?" asked Link taking a seat and leaning on the gossip stone.
"Oh Link?" said Saria a little surprised, "I didn't see you there! You never come here anymore... so I was kind of scared."
"You're sounding childish," said Link.
"Well maybe that's because I am in fact a child!" said Saria a little annoyed.
"Yeah well, you're never up this early."
"I know, I had trouble sleeping so-"
"-So you do what you always do when you're awake. You simply go here and play on that ocarina," interrupted Link.
"Yeah, that's about it," said Saria with a smile on her face. "I've gotta Link, see ya later." She pocketed her ocarina got up and walked back into the lost woods.
Link sighed as he walked back through the forest himself and back to the group. Michael was still asleep and Zelda was gone. Link walked through the forest for ten minutes seeing no sign of life except a few squirrels and a rat. He finally gave up and walked back to the pond he was at earlier before he had a brief chat with Saria. Zelda was at the edge of the pond with her feet in the water. She seemed to not notice Link behind her.
"Good morning Link," she said with a bright voice.
"Hey, how's it goin?" he asked taking a seat next to her.
"Oh, I'm fine," she said turning her head toward him. "I found an emerald," she said holding it up for Link to see.
The word "emerald" flowed all too well through Link's mind.
He went back into his memory when he had first started his greatest challenge. Of all the puzzles he went through and all the encouraging words of people that supported him during his quest he regretted all of it. All the enemies he had killed and how many lives he had taken away just because they were slaves to Ganondorf's will.
Link turned his head away from Zelda as the tears slowly started falling.
"Link... is something wrong," asked Zelda hoping she had not caused this.
Michael ran to where they were situated. "Link Zelda we need to go now," he said exhausted.
"Why?" asked Zelda confused at why he had been so worried.
"No time for that," he said. "Oh, Zelda, it's best you keep away from any major civilizations because you might just end up dead... Link!!! We need to leave now!"
Link wiped off the tears that were still dripping down his face and followed Michael outside of the Kokiri forest. Michael was a about twenty yards a head of Link.
Once they reached the edge of the forest Link saw the awesome force that was heading to Hyrule Market.
Link fell to the floor seeming to lose all hope.
"Do you see why I called you," asked Michael.
Link didn't answer, he was preoccupied with the dragon and the trolls that were heading along with all of the soldiers.
"This has to be at least half of Dia's army," said Michael convinced.
"How the hell are we going to take that thing out?!?!?!" yelled Link over the loud chanting of the army. "There aren't even half that many soldiers!"
"We've got to warn Hyrule Castle before this onslaught reaches it!" said Michael. He pulled Link off his feet and ran toward Death Mountain.
Link didn't ask why Michael was taking him this way, he already knew. They would simply go through the woods until they reach Kakariko. Then they head toward Death Mountain and walk through the mountainous pathway "The dead road".
They had reached the castle with only a few precious hours left.
They asked the guards to let them pass. They refused.
"If you don't let me pass I will have to do the same thing I did five years ago!" said Michael angrily. Indeed five years ago when he had not yet realized that Hyrule was the dominant country in place of Endfall he had beaten the exact same two guards to the ground.
"You were only lucky that time," said soldier "A" who if you recall was the one on the left and the one on the right was soldier "B".
"Ugh," said Michael, "I don’t have time for this." He whacked both of the soldiers on the back of the head and they both fell to the floor unconscious.
"Incidentally what did happen five years ago?" asked Link as they walked through the castle's main hall.
"No time to explain," said Michael as they entered the throne room.
"Sire," said Michael. "There is a large attack on this city and your soldiers are too dimwitted to realize it. Call all your soldiers immediately, get help as quickly as possible!"
"I-i-i-is this some kind of a joke?" asked the king befuddled.
"Sir," said Michael, "the enemy is here to destroy this country and enslave it."
"It's a little unusual that it is so abrupt," said the king.
"Sir! Do something about it or we will take order of this city for the time being!"
"Fine, if this is as you say then I will order my men to round up the soldiers!"
Link and Michael exited the castle. Michael walked up to the little bridge leading from the castle's field to the gossip stone and sat down having his legs dangle freely.
Link sat down on the other side of the bridge. He lifted his hand to his forehead in frustration as he awaited the onslaught that was destined for them.
***
Zelda slowly walked up and saw the already empty streets of Hyrule Market. Everyone was inside for some reason. Confused at why this was she walked further into the Market. For some reason she could hear chanting in the distance. Though she did not know it a massive attack was about to befall onto this city. She slowly walked onto the balcony above the bomb-chu bowling alley and saw what fate awaited her. She was so frightened and still at the sight of this that she was caught off guard when a dog barked behind her that she fell of the balcony. She felt pain as she slowly lifted herself off her arm. She noticed that her arm was numb and she couldn’t move it. Her head ached severely and she saw blood flow down from her head as she slowly drifted to unconsciousness...
***
She awoke in the castle hospital to find Link at her side. He was standing and leaning on a wall looking like he was deep in thought. Zelda didn't say anything.
Link was indeed thinking. The emerald thought yet again flowed through his mind along with all of his memories. He had killed things that had a life ahead of them, and he had destroyed all of evil. Then Zelda made him go back in time and make it seem like none of it ever happened, like he had killed things and then nothing came out of it. Tears began to flow down his face as he remembered all the horrible thoughts and recollections.
Zelda got up and went to stand infront of Link. "Are you alright?"
"Don't talk to me!" said Link angrily to Zelda. He was furious at what all she had done.
"Link... tell me, what is wrong?"
"Fine," Link began. He wiped the tears off his face. "It's everything... all that I had done to save Hyrule all the living souls I had destroyed. And you, you made it seem like all that I had done... all that I had done was just a stupid plot-
-She put a hand over his mouth. "It's okay Link..." she slowly kissed him. He felt much more calm and relaxed, not to mention surprised but he enjoyed it while he could...

Michael was on the walls of Hyrule Market. Seeing the doom of Hyrule venture ever closer and closer to them. He had never lost hope and that policy would not change. "There is always hope," he would say to himself if he was in a tight predicament.
A troll was leading the army into battle. This wasn't a normal cave troll like he, Link, and Zelda had faced before. These were fully grown mountain trolls capable of bashing down a 3 foot thick castle wall which indeed this city was.
"Raise the drawbridge!" commanded Michael to the soldiers up top. They spun the wheel and up went the bridge as the enemy was nearing the city walls. The troll saw this and seized it's massive chain mace. "Come out and fight!" said the troll in a barely understandable voice, "So that we may kill you without pain!"
"If you wish to fight then come in if you can!" yelled Michael.
Just then one of the enemy soldiers launched an arrow straight between Michael's eyes. When it was five inches away from his face Michael lifted his hand up in a flash and caught the arrow between his fingers. He then pulled out his bow and launched at the soldier that had launched the arrow at him. He had tried the same trick Michael had but he was too slow. It went straight into his left eye and through deeper into his head killing it.
"As I said before," began Michael, "If you wish to fight you must come to us!"
"Then we will destroy your bridge and make you cower in fear and pain!" screamed the troll. He then took his chain mace and flung it at the drawbridge. With one hit the bridge had already been half destroyed. He forced it a second time. The bridge was almost completely destroyed. Then the final time and it was down.
"Volley!" yelled Michael. Without knowing it hundreds of archers were behind the draw bridge ready to fire. They launched all their arrows and killed the first and second lines.
"Bring in the dirt!" yelled the troll. Then the four other trolls brought in massive rocks and within minutes they had created a wall that blocked all the arrows, also turned the river into a huge pile of rocks.
"Bring in the dragon's head!" yelled the head troll again and a large device was brought in. It bashed into the rock wall and after four bashes the rock built wall collapsed and in came the trolls at first.
"Volley!" yelled Michael again as the armored trolls took out their swords, shields, maces, etc.
The trolls had alone done quite a bit of damage to their enemy. Just then the leading troll commanded that the dragon come in. The soldiers from behind released the dragon and in it came causing double the havoc that the trolls had created.
All the citizens of Hyrule Market fled back to the castle whilst the soldiers were trying to fend off the enemies.
"Move into the city!" commanded the troll. "Destroy everything!"
The soldiers moved in and launched fire arrows and bombs at each of the houses making the city burn.
Back at the gate that leads to the castle all the soldiers had fallen back and stood there hoping that they wouldn't come any further.
***
Meanwhile Link finally caught up to Michael and the group of soldiers. He got up on the small cliff to see what had happened. He saw the chaos and destruction that had consumed the city. Many innocent civilians had been killed. He saw the leading troll and was furious at him. He pulled out a single arrow and launched it at the troll. It went straight in-between the trolls armor and went straight through his neck. The troll fell down to the floor dead.
The dragon saw this and attacked Link head on. It grabbed Link and crushed him between his talons.
Michael no doubtedly saw this and he got an arrow and tied a rope onto it. He launched the arrow and grabbed the end of the rope. It had hit the dragon under the right wing.
The dragon let go of Link thirty feet in the air. Link fell down into Hyrule Castle's garden wounded. Michael climbed up the rope and onto the dragon's back. The wing's of the dragon gave him a good foothold as he drew out his sword and stabbed both of it's eyes. The dragon fell to the floor blind. Michael lifted of a scale with all his might and stabbed the weak spot. The dragon died in pain.
The soldiers and the remaining four trolls went to the Hyrule Castle field to bash down the remaining wall. The troll's climbed up the small canyon and headed straight for the castle.
Michael got off the dragon's corpse and climbed up the vack of one troll. He stabbed him harshly in the neck and brought down the troll. The other three of course saw this and got out their maces to smash Michael. Link got back up with his left arm broken so he had to weild the sword with his right hand. He stabbed a troll in the stomache with a dead soldiers spear and the troll fell on it's back in pain. He stabbed the troll in the eyes and then in the neck. The other soldiers had brought down the other two trolls but just then the enemy had bashed through the walls.
The remaining fifty soldiers were about to face over nine thousand soldiers.
"Fire at will!" yelled Michael over the screams of the citizens going into the castle.
"Which one is Will?" asked Link sarcastically.
"This is no time for jokes!" yelled Michael furious.
The goblins (they are the enemy) were firing arrows of their own killing even more soldiers.
But miraculously they had brought down over half of the enemy. There were only a handful of soldiers left. The group of men along with Michael and Link ran behind the last two defenses they had. Behind the gate and the castle walls.
Link really began to look frustrated as he was polishing his sword awaiting his and the rest of the castle's doom.
"I had always known it would end this way," said Link. "But I never thought so quickly.
"You know it isn't ending here," said Michael encouragingly. "There is a heaven and we will all go to it... someday...
Then they heard bashings on the door as the enemy came through the first defense. Link got ready his sword as he put his broken arm in a sling. The enemy bashed through the door and attacked with a barrage of arrows.
The remaining ten men including Michael and Link went behind their absolute last defense. The king's throne room door.
Michael led them all in and said that he would try to hold them off. All of a sudden there was a bright flash in the sky. The dragon of the fountain swooped down and killed many of the soldiers. He called for the men to come out as they killed all the remaining enemies. Zelda ran out from the throne room and hugged Link tight.
The fight was over... But the war had just begun.
***
There was one remaining goblin that had lived through the battle. He returned to Diatheleser and informed him that the army had been defeated by the enemy.
"What!?" yelled Diatheleser in rage. "How can this be, that was over half of my forces!!!!!!!!!! Are you that pathetic!!!!!!!!"
"Sir," said the goblin, "The... dragon defeated us sir."
"The dragon has thwarted my plans again... It will pay for this."
***
Link and Zelda were alone now in Zelda's room. Impa had tended to Link's wounded arm and now it was in a sling. It would heal within two weeks. Link fell onto her bed severely tired of the battle and pain he had endured. Zelda lay down beside him as the clock banged 11:00 PM. She lay her head on his chest and fell asleep...
They woke up the next morning and were invited to a major funeral for all the lives that had been lost.
"Today we remember the innocent lives that had been destroyed and all the soldiers that had died defending them," the king said. Everybody would drop something of great value to them as they walked back into the castle. Link dropped his mirror shield. The last piece of rememberance he had of the adventure he had such a hard time enduring...
Zelda came to his side as Link stared at the grave outside of the castle where all the bodies had been put to rest.
"It'll be fine Link," she said holding his hand and resting her head on his shoulder. Link closed his eyes remembering all the situations that happened on that great adventure of the past. He walked back inside holding Zelda's hand...
Dia's True Force by SPartan 119
Dia' walked into the hall at the foot of the large staircase to see that the remaining soldiers of his were now ready for the final assault on Hyrule. This time it was triple the size of the previous attack and much more combat ready than before.
"Are the units ready?" asked Dia' eager for combat.
"About sir," said the monster. "There are still a few weapons and armor that must be manufactured but we are about finished."
With over thirty thousand men near ready for combat, that is over ten thousand soldiers than there are citizens of Hyrule, Dia' thought that nothing could stop him from taking back what was his.
Dia' walked into the massive armory that was no longer busy like it was before. Only a few smithers remained and they were slowly working on a few swords and helmets. The sword's were made out of cursed mithril. Totally black and evil weapons. Mithril, the enfaillan constructed type, had a heart like it did the owner. I bet you've heard this before but the sword choses it's master by the master's quality compared to the sword. Though the black mithril, black for short, does not choose it's master, it does not care for a good master all it wants is for it to feel blood and flesh and feel the life being taken out through it.
"Let me see a sword," commanded Dia' to one of the smelters.
The smelter picked up a sword from it's stack and handed it to Dia' for him to examine.
"Yes," said Dia', "just like the first blade I had ever weilded, strong and black."
Another one of the smelters spoke to the one standing in front of Dia'.
"He says," said the smelter, "that all the armor and weapons are... ready."
"Excellent," said Dia' giddily. "Are the weapons in absolute combat ready condition?"
"Yes sir," said the monster convinced. "Smelted to perfection!"
Dia' then left the armory and returned to his soldiers. Miraculously they already were full on supplies and were ready for combat.
He spoke to the head troll, "Have the units ready by dusk, and this time... make sure you do no lose the fight!"
"Yes sir," said the troll convinced. The troll looked back behind him and saw a demon in chains struggling to losen himself free. "We have your greatest servent!"
"Precisely," said Dia', now get your men well fed and ready to travel!"
"Yes sir!"

Link woke up in his old room in Hyrule Castle. It was very early in the morning, 4:00 AM to be exact. He wasn't getting as much sleep as he used to. He got up out of bed in the darkness. His left arm was still in a sling which was getting slightly irritating by now. He had done a few practice rounds with his right hand, trying to get used to it but it didn't help much. He figured out how many days it took when he was young to get used to his left hand, much more difficult his right.
He walked onto a balcony that faced down into Zelda's courtyard that he had been to the first time he saw Zelda.
He was having a bad habbit of remembering things he tried to forget. But then again forgetting the first time he had seen Zelda would be a bad thing. He had first kissed her just four days ago right before a large battle had devoured all of the city and near destroying the castle.
Speaking of the city there had been a few repairs. Not a single building had been built yet. Not even all the ashes of the old buildings had been completely removed. The new drawbridge was the only thing that was intact. Almost all the river that seperated the field from the city was renewed and the civilians went to Kakariko Village for refuge.
He recalled the battle much to easily. If it had not been for Michael they would have all died. But where did Michael come from.
He had come from a strange incident five years before. Only trying to have a good time at a party, Link found Michael threatening the king, Link tried to defend the king but ended up failing miserabely.
Link went back into his room and opened his door. He went down through the hallway down the the main hall. He saw the dragon that had saved Michael, Link, and Zelda's life twice lie there outside on the cliff snoozing like he always does. Link went to the dragon's side and slowly started stroking it's beautiful scales. He could tell they were ancient but somehow, admirable and beautiful. The sun was just coming over the top of the trees and made the scales look perfectly gold as the way they were.
The remaining soldiers from the battle four days before went to switch shifts guarding the castle.
Link turned onto the tall cliff that Michael and Link climbed up to get to the castle to warn the king. Michael was standing on the cliff looking at the dark castle in the distance. He had a very worried expression on his face that could only mean trouble. Link climbed up the cliff, very skilled for one arm and went to stand beside Michael.
"Is something wrong?" asked Link looking at the castle. He could only see a castle in the distance.
"The enemy moves against us again," said Michael. "If you look extremely carefully you can see the massive assault he is sending now, even larger than before."
Link squinted trying to see anything but nothing, only the tiny castle. Then he kept his eyes fixed around the castle and then into view came the horror that awaited Hyrule. Easily 30 thousand goblins, twenty trolls, a few dragons, and a demon.
Link stumbled backwards outstanded at what he was seeing. He closed his eyes and hoped that this ways a dream.
Michael patted Link's soldier, "It'll be fine," said Michael encouragingly. "We won last battle didn't we?"
"Yeah, last battle we lost nearly all of our soldiers not to mention nearly got our own asses kicked, 'and', that army was nowhere near as big as this one!"
"Well you don't have to be so gloomy about it," said Michael annoyed.
"Yeah well what do you want me to do," said Link very annoyed. "Just stand here pissing myself, fighting, and waiting to die!"
"Listen bucko!" yelled Michael "If you want to leave and have it more likely to get your sorry ass kicked, be my guest! No one is stopping you!!!!!"
Link looked angrily at the calming Michael before him. Link just sat down on the cliff and decided to await their doom.
"That's more like it," said Michael. He took a seet beside Link and took out a small bottle.
"What's that?" asked Link rather interested.
"This my friend, is a Perthemian Ale," stated Michael proudly as he took a sip. "Extremely rare, and delicious too. It costs a fortune though... want one?"
"No thanks," said Link. Michael handed him a bottle anyway. "I said I didn't want one!"
"Just take it," said Michael. "Or at least take a sip."
Link was getting rather annoyed. He pulled off the cap and put the bottle to his lips. The absolutely delicious beverage trickled down his throat.
Link's eyes went wide. He had never tasted something this good.
"Didn't I tell ya you'd want to drink it?" said Michael happily.
"Yeah," said Link pocketing the drink. "Better save it for later."
Michael turned back to look at the advancing enemy. They were nearing Kethro by now, a big problem.
"Let's go," said Michael.
"That's just stupidity," said Link also staring at the enemy. "We can't defend that town it'll be destroyed and our asses will be along with the people living there."
"But we can at least warn them can't we?" said Michael picking up his sword and strapping it to his bag.
Without knowing it Link was doing the same thing. "Yeah I guess so."
They walked up the cliff and back onto "The dead road".
They reached Kethro with little more than a few minutes left. Because of the walls and the people's dimwittedness the people had not noticed that they would soon be under attack.
"People of the village of Kethro," Michael began. "It is for your own safety that you leave at once."
"And for what purpose?" asked a man.
"You will soon be under siege!" said Michael.
The people dropped what they were doing and laughed hysterically.
"Quit playing a joke," said a teenager.
"This is my last warning," said Michael. "If you do not follow we will abandon you."
"Abandon us from what?" called the man again.
"Let's go Link," said Michael. "We've tried but they're ignoring us."
"One last time," said Link not giving up hope.
"There's no time for tha-"
"Please leave," interupted Link. "We are playing no joke."
"Then where is this army?" asked a woman.
But it was too late. The enemy had just bashed through the wall and were flooding the city. Michael and Link got to their feet and ran as quickly as they could. Within seconds all of the city was already burning and many people died. The remainers were either wounded or running for their lives.
Link fell to the floor bewildered at how quickly the army caused destruction. The village of Kethro had fallen.
They both ran back to the castle as quickly as possible.
It was nearing 3:00 PM and Zelda was getting worried about both of them.
They returned to the garden where Zelda was.
"Where were you both?" asked Zelda as they took a seat exhausted.
"Kethro has fallen," explained Michael "Everyone there either killed or injured. This force the Dia' is sending is over triple the strength of last time."
"You said that last time there was half of Dia's force," said Zelda.
"Evil armies can grow rapidly Zelda," said Michael. "Just make sure your father re-instates the draft because... we're going to need all the men we can get"
Zelda walked up to inform her father about this. The king talked with the officials and re-instated the draft like said. All the remaining men and some young adults came and got their armor and weapons ready for battle.
It was now a day since Kethro had been taken over and they were getting dangerously near Kakariko. Luckily they had all been moved out and were in the refuge of the castle.
It was now getting severe. This was a serious problem that could destroy all of Hyrule and the surrounding countries.
"We have to get help," said Michael. "Hyrule alone cannot stop this force."
"We will see how they will stand," said the king.
"Sire!!!! I am losing my patience if you do not call for help this instant all the innocent citizens of Hyrule will die! Would you rather die than ask for help!?"
"Fine," said the king annoyed, "I will send out a messenger and ask Perthemia for assistance, then would you please shut up!"
"Do not tell me to shut up!" said Michael drawing his sword and pointing it at the king.
Two soldiers grabbed their spears and threatened Michael to get off the king or they would kill him, no matter how much he helped.
Michael gave the king an angry look and walked off rather pissed off.
***
A day had passed and Link and Zelda finally got some alone time in the garden. Link had been instated into the army by the draft because it was men of age 15 and older.
"Link, if you're fighting, just don't die on me."
"I can't promise anything," said Link looking down at Zelda's face. "I can only hope."
"Link, if you truly believe you will win. Just remember that..." she kissed him one last time and they went to bed to go to sleep.
A Royal Discovery by SPartan 119
Link slowly walked through the dark hallway that evening. He had not been able to sleep so he was yet again roaming the halls of the castle during twilight. It was 1:00 AM and Link wasn't tired. He wen't downstairs and into Zelda's garden just wanting to be alone.
He saw Zelda sitting on a stone bench that had been previously added to the garden's collection. Link took a seat beside her studying the walls of the castle throughly. He had never taken the time to take a good look at the walls. He saw the balcony to his room above him.
"Couldn't sleep either?" asked Link seeing Zelda play on an ocarina. Her eyes were closed so she had not noticed Link.
"Link?" she asked, "What are you doing up so early.
"I dont know, I couldn't sleep," he said closing his eyes and thinking about what could be Hyrule's last days.
"It worries you doesn't it?" said Zelda looking at Link's expression.
"I had never thought that I would see a war in my life," said Link. "Even less be in one!"
"I doesn't matter," said Zelda. "You don't even know if you will be going to battle."
"Even if I was ordered to go or not I would still fight!" said Link. "I will fight for Hyrule, and even if it is Hyrule's time to fall I would be glad to die along side her."
"You are a true warrior," said Zelda taking a good look at him.
"Yeah well... I'm proud to be one."
"I'm finally getting tired Link," said Zelda yawning. "See you in the morning."
"'night," said Link seeing her walk back through the door.
"Good night."
Link lay down and rested his head on the bench. He had never gone to war and he didn't know what it would be like. "I don't want to go to war alone," he said to himself being worried. "Will Michael fight along side me? What if he cowards? Nah... he does not fear death."
"You bet your ass that's right!" said Michael walking towards him.
"How did you get here?" asked Link.
"Through the same door you came through."
"When?"
"Just now... why?"
"'cause I didn't notice you."
"Yeah well, anyway, I wouldn't cowar Link," said Michael taking a seat next to Link. "I might be of royal blood but I would never be afraid of death."
Link once again put his hand to his forehead in frustration. "I don't want Hyrule to die."
"Hyrule will die," said Michael not helping anybody. "Every country falls, it's going to happen sometime if not in your life, then in a hundred, thousand, or ten thousand years!"
"Have you forgotten that I live forever just like you do?"
"I guess so."
A long moment of silence.
"How are we finally going to defeat Dia?" asked Link.
"Well only Amnir can do that," said Michael.
"Well why don't we ask him?" said Link.
"Yeah I figured out something, only you and I have ever spoken to Amnir before." said Michael. "And only a person of royal blood can speak to Amnir. That's the way we enfaillans were created. An oracle can only be of royal blood."
"Wait a second," said Link. "If only a person of royal blood can speak to Amnir that means that you and I must both have royal entities in our blood. And you said that your father died and your mother fled. Tell me... what did your mother look like?"
"Blonde hair... blue eyes just like you described your mother...why?... Oh damn!"
"Exactly," Link began again. "So that means that your mother and my mother are... are the same... people..." Link's jaw dropped. He had never thought that he would ever have had a half brother before.
Now it was Michael's turn to put his hand on his forehead in frustration. "Great," he said, "I have a brother who is the 'Hero of Time!"
"And I have a brother who is the ancient prince of Endfall!"
"Could you lose the ancient part," Michael said, "I don't like being classified as old. "
"But whether you like it or not you are old!" said Link.
"Yeah but since I'm older and still in age 19 youth I have much more fighting experience than you do!" said Michael happily.
"Can we just stop arguing!" said Link getting mildly annoyed.
It was 1:30 AM now and Zelda was on Link's balcony listening to the argument below. She was happy for Link that he had finally found a sibling. The weird thing was that they were all of royal family. A fortunate series of events.
Link was getting very tired by now himself. "I'm exhausted," he told Michael as he went back upstairs.
"See ya," said Michael looking at the night sky.
Link reached the top and saw Zelda standing on the balcony looking down into the garden.
"I thought you said that you were going to bed?" said Link surprising Zelda.
"Oh... sorry Link it's just I well... wanted to go... to go see your room and... and-"
"Zelda chill out." said Link calmly. "Just go back to bed and we'll go to sleep."
"Um... do you mind if... you and me... well... you know."
"Sleep together in one bed?" interupted Link again.
"... yeah!" said Zelda.
"Nah I don't mind," said Link. He took off his tunic. And slid into bed.
Zelda did the same and she snuggled up next to Link.
"'night," said Link.
"Good night," said Zelda resting her head on his chest and they both went to sleep.
***
Link woke up the next morning. Zelda had left and it was pouring down rain outside. Thunder clapped in the distance.
He got up and walked downstairs finding Michael leaning on the stairway.
"Mornin' lover boy!" said Michael listening to the rain outside.
"Hey," said Link, "At least I have a girl!"
"Well," began Michael. "Maybe the reason I don't have a girlfriend is because of the fact that I do not want one!"
"You don't want a girl in your life!?" said Link outstanded.
"You don't get it do you?" said Michael. "After I lost... her I... just can't get another... I was too loyal..."
"Oh," said Link. "Sorry I brought this conversation up."
"Don't worry about it!" said Michael. "She died four thousand years ago anyway, I'm over it already! Well... not really."
"Exactly why I said I didn't want to bring it up!" said Link.
The rain was beginning to pour harder.
"Any idea where Zelda is?" asked Link.
"Yeah, she's eating breakfast right now you can find her in the dining hall."
"k' thanks." Link walked toward the dining hall to find it empty except Zelda standing by the window looking at the rain outside.
"I wonder what brought this rain up," said Link standing next to Zelda looking through the window to the falling rain.
"It's Dia's rain," said Michael coming in through the door. "Whenever it rains like this with a black sky it means he is currently in battle. Another innocent village is under attack..."
Link ran his hand through this hair yet again in frustration. "Do you know which city is under attack?" he asked.
"Probably the next town in line," responded Michael.
"And which would that be?" asked Zelda.
"Kakariko."
"And we're next," said Link frustrated.
"Don't worry about it," said Michael. "It'll all eventually pass! I don't think Amnir would have given up so easily on us. If he did then the goddesses will try to fight, they will help a bit, though they can't kill Dia'."
"Hey," said Link, "Why are we all so gloomy let's eat!"
"For once the boy has a good idea!" said Michael taking a seat.
Link simply brushed off the comment and took a seat. Servents came filing through the door carrying a large platter filled with scrambled eggs. Another with bacon and sausage. And for the people that crave delicate meals in came a servent carrying a a large tray holding many plates of eggs benedict. Link of course decided to simply take a roll of bread and eggs with bacon. Michael just took two loaves of bread and Zelda took eggs benedict. The king came in and took eggs benedict also.
After a good breakfast Michael went up to the throne room.
"Sir," he said, "Dia's army has reach Kakariko and we are next. We need to rally up all our soldiers and get them ready for battle."
"It will be done," said the king, "though somehow I have the feeling that you are a better news reporter than all of my men."
"Sir," said Michael happy about his compliment, "I just do what I can."
"Well you keep doing what you can because you are very useful," said the king.
He got his soldiers ready for the massive assault that was about to hit their capital city. Though to you, you might see it that they are all very afraid that this is going to happen but no. These people keep their morality up simply hoping...
Dia's Stone by SPartan 119
Link stood on top of the golden tipped tower, the tallest tower in the castle. He saw the slowly advancing enemy as he took out his bottle of Perthemian ale and started pouring a sip down his throat. The enemy was yet still however miles away and it would take another few hours to get here. He was actually beginning to fear the upcoming fight. He knew they would almost certainly all be killed. He began to look around the enemy not knowing exactly what he was searching for. But then he saw it, a force of about five hundred men was aligned and ready for battle. They were carrying the flag of Perthemia. Link revognized this by examining the simble on his bottle, it mached the flag they were carrying. Link was almost happy when he saw the force that would help them battle, but against the hate that was massing towards them he had great fear.
The soldiers were already aligned against the walls of Hyrule Market. Some were hiding in the rubble that was formed by the previous attack against the market. Link then noticed the thing that would cause great fear. A demon was being chained along with the army by trolls. Even though there were five trolls and they were fully grown they had a very difficult time trying to keep the demon to follow them.
The king had put Michael in charge of the defense for the city even though they would probably not live through it.
Link was getting a little tense though, he had only once faught in a massive battle such as this but never as likely to be killed as this. He had never thought this would happen before.
"Ready for combat?" asked Michael coming up to the top of the tower.
"I don't know," said Link, "It's just I had never been in an army before... "
"Well it's about time you fight in a true battle!" said Michael putting his hand on Link's shoulder. "Yeah, I remember when my father and I faught in wars like this. I fell in love with it immediately... fighting to defend my own country... maybe that's why I do not fear death."
Link had thought for a moment. It was very likely that he was going to die along with everyone else in the city.
"Why aren't the people in fear?" asked Link.
"Because they have morality," said Michael.
"Why?"
"Because the captains have morality as well. If the captains cower in fear they will lose hope and morality making it easier to defeat us. But if you stand with courage they will stand along with you."
"I understand," said Link. "The soldiers are as good as their captain."
"Precisely! Oh... Open the gates!" he commanded the soldiers at the wall.
The soldiers lowered the drawbridge and let through the Perthemian force.
"I'll talk to you in a minute!" said Michael running down to meat the leader.
"It's about time you arrive!" said Michael shaking the leader's hand.
"Just like you," said the commander, "always impatient." The commander smiled at Michael and he smiled back.
"You had better get to your posts," said Michael getting onto the front wall looking at the advancing enemy.
The army was nearing them, Link had always prayed this moment would never happen.
The enemy had reached the wall. Without hesitation like previously Michael commanded the soldiers to fire at will. Then the Perthemians from behind were commanded to fire their own arrows.
"Fire!" commanded the leading troll. Each one of the thirty thousand soldiers fired arrows at the Perthemian soldiers almost completely taking them out.
"Launc catapults!" commanded Michael and behind the ruined city there were 15 catapults locked and loaded. They fired wiping out hundreds of the enemy soldiers. This was a pretty effective way of destroying the enemy.
"We need more rubble!" said Link from behind slicing a rope that was keeping a catapult's load down.
"Enter the city!" commanded the troll again and war towers were slowly being pushed along the floor until they reached the wall. A long bridge dropped releasing hundreds of goblins. They attacked the soldiers on the wall and then worked their way down.
"Take command at will!" shouted Michael. The soldiers were now firing arrows and slicing the incoming goblins.
"Now!" yelled Link over the chanting of the goblins.
Catapults released and in the catapults were a barrage of bombs.
The troll looked up at the doom that awaited him and plenty of other soldiers. The bombs fell hard onto their forces and exploded. Plenty of Dia's army was depleted from that force of bombs.
Then five goblins took out each of Hyrule's catapults. Michael did the same and now they had no more unfair advantage... Except for the dragons and the demon. The dragons were finally released upon the market. They caused great havoc clambering ontop of the ruins and burning hell onto the soldiers.
"Release... the force!" commanded a troll that was instantly killed by a barrage of arrows. The demon was released from it's chains and it walked straight for the city. It bashed down the drawbridge with ease as many of the soldiers cowared in fear.
"Stand to your posts!" commanded Michael.
The demon stopped dead infront of him and attacked him with another hellfire.
"You wanna fight bitch!? Bring it on!" said Michael infuriated. This truly was the hardest battle Michael had ever faced before.
The demon expanded to it's full size and released it's hellfire once again. Michael quickly spun out of the way as the spell past him. He got up and pulled out an arrow and shot the demon in the eye. The demon picked at the arrow in pain as his right eye was blinded. Unbeknownst to the demon though Michael was on top of him. The demon quickly grabbed Michael off him. He was being held up in front of the demon. Michael thought quickly and pulled out his bow and an arrow again and shot the demon in the remaining eye. The demon was now blind. And since it had only terrific eyesight but a bad sense of smell and hearing it woul be a piece of cake defeating it. Michael slid below the demon and stuck his sword in it's stomache. It stumbled backward's in pain. It threw Michael aside as it was starting to get pissed off. Michael ran up to it's open mouth and stabbed it in the roof. The demon fell down... dead.
The few dragons that remained were trying to break through the castle walls. Nothing. The dragon's flew back to the enemy that had advanced towards the defending gate that lead to Hyrule Castle. This time there were two hundred men guarding the gate but ten thousand goblins trying to attack.
The other few soldiers managed to kill the last dragons except one. The last dragon was heading straight for Link. His eyes went wide as he realized this would be his last moment on earth. Then all of a sudden Amnir's dragon came from behind Link and brought down the dragon with terrifying ease. It attacked the remaining goblins and finished them off.

"Sir," said the monster nervously. "Your army is... destroyed.
Dia' raised in hate and terror. "Your army that had been created by the most powerful ways possible was destroyed! You shall pay Andalo!" Dia' took out his mace but before he could lower it the monster said something.
"We might have lost the battle but we have found the stone!" he said in a cowardice voice.
Dia' stopped breathing. The stone was finally his... now Hyrule's last days would for sure come.
"Bring the stone to me this instant!" commanded Dia' giddily.
The monster walked up the Dia', kneeled down, and in a ravelled piece of cloth he unveiled the doom of Hyrule.
"Endfall will be mine!" said Dia as he put the stone in his hand. A large flow of air that was gold spiraled around him and then settled. Dia's true form was now unveiled. He was no longer the shadow like he was before but a man. Dark skinned and with a sword as large as a full grown human. He stood nine feet tall and eager for battle.
"Should I command the soldiers for battle?" asked the monster.
"No," said Dia', they will no doubtedly come to us...
The Devil's Last Force by SPartan 119
Link walked back to the castle limping a bit. Zelda ran out through the doors and gave Link a loving embrace. Link hugged back. If this was Dia's true force then defeating Dia' himself would be easy.
"We need to talk," said Michael. He walked into the castle and took a seat on the stairway. He didn't look it but he was relieved the battle was over, over 80% of the soldiers had died in this battle, but the bad part was that he knew it wasn't over yet.
"You wanted to talk about something?" said Link taking a seat next to Michael.
"Yeah but I also need to talk to the king," said Michael. "I need to speak to him the most. And whether you like my plan or not Link, you have to follow my orders. Is that understood soldier!?"
Link was getting a little ticked off but he respected Michael's authority. "Y-Yes sir!"
Michael walked into the throne room and noticed the king talking to a leader of a different country. Perthemia to be exact but I suppose that isn't important. He left and Michael went up to the king.
"Sir," he asked, "I would like to mass an attack on Dia's fortress."
"For what reasons?" asked the king dumbfounded at Michael's proposition.
"Well," began Michael. "As you may know, evil armies can growb quite fast, and well, Im thinking that they massed over twenty thousand men in two days that we have to attack them this instant to keep them from massing again. "
"I understand," said the King, "I do not like the thought of it but I know we must do it... I will tell my men to rally up every last man that can cary a sword into battle."

Michael walked into his room. He had never thought that he would be facing his worst enemy in a matter of days... maybe even hours. This thought however didn't make him nervous. He probably wasn't going to live through this battle. Something made him drowsy now though. For some reason it just came up out of nowhere. He fell asleep right on the spot.
He woke up in a large field of hills. He looked around and saw Amnir appear right in front of him. This is the first holy dream he had in his life so this was something new.
"You know now what must be done," said Amnir to Michael.
"Yes but... I don't know how to do it," said Michael worried. If he would die he knew that one of the best soldiers of Hyrule would be gone.
"It does not matter how you do it just as long as you do it," said Amnir incouragingly.
"I need help though," said Michael. "I can't defeat Dia' on my own.
"You will recieve help from the god's," said Amnir. "But the most useful weapon is this." Amnir handed Michael a sword. It was the royal sword that only a king could weild. It had a blade that looked purely. The hilt was shaped like a dragon. The dragon was colored gold. The dragon head was nearest part of the hilt to the blade. The dragon's mouth was open and on the blade fire was painted to make it look like the dragon was breathing fire. The handle itself was a normal handle except the dragon's tail was wrapped around the handle.
"You now hand me the royal sword?" said Michael impressed at it's beauty.
"It is finally your time," said Amnir letting go of the blade.
Immediately Michael woke up. It was only a dream how could he possible have the sword. Just to make sure though. He pulled the sword out of the sheath and indeed it was the royal sword. He slid it back into it's sheath and walked back downstairs.
The army was ready, they were ready for a full attack on the Athaldu Castle. Over one thousand men were ready for the attack. Michael of course would be leading them.
Michael saw Link on the front line.
"Soldier," he said to Link. "If I should fall you should resume my duties as the leader on this attack is that understood?"
"Yes sir," replied Link.
"Anyone that is afraid of this battle speak here," said Michael hoping that all the soldiers were loyal. None spoke up or raised their hands.
"Let's go men!"
They walked out of the castle and up to the Athaldu Castle whcih was now more horrible than it was before. Why was this though Michael wondered. They reached the castle and bashed down the gates.
"Take command at will," said Michael and all of the soldiers ran forward to attack each of the goblins. There were only a little over one thousand goblins left no trolls, dragons, or demons.
Michael ran up into the throne room and pushed open the doors.
"You have come to meat me in battle?" said Dia' who was disguising himself as the shadow before.
"You should be very easy now that each of your men have fallen!" said Michael.
"My men may have been defeated in battle this day, but I have one weapon that you cannot even comprehend to!" he returned to his normal form, from after he had drunk the stone's elexir.
"N-no..." said Michael as he saw the stone in Dia's hand.
"You will be defeated!" said Dia' drawing his sword.
"I may be defeated this day yes! But I also have a weapon 'you' cannot match!" said Michael and he drew the royal sword out of it's sheath.
"Let us fight!" said Dia' and he jumped to an attack on Michael.
Michael avoided the attack and did a jump attack on Dia'. He avoided the jump attack and spun around trying to hit Michael. He avoided the spin and rolled under Dia's feet and sliced him in both legs. Dia' used the stone to heal himself. Michael knew he couldn't win the battle as long as he carried that stone. He knew what he must do though. Dia' did another jump attack. Michael avoided it and hit a nerve in Dia's elbow causing his arm to be immovable and numb. He then hit kicked Dia's face causing the stone to fly out of his arm. Michael grabbed the stone and threw it in the air. He then sliced it down the middle. The stone looked like it hadn't been sliced. Dia' picked up the stone and tried to heal his numbed arm but right when he was about to the stone split in half. It turned gold and shrank into a small point as large as a pinhead and then disappeared.
"Now it's a fair fight!" said Michael as he readied his sword for combat again.
"Now you die!" said Dia' pissed off. He was about to attack Michael and he avoided but then from his belt Dia' pulled out a dagger and stabbed Michael in the area between his shoulder and clavicle. His eyes went wide as Dia' let go of the dagger. Dia' then readied his sword to slice off Michael's head but then Michael pulled out the dagger and used it to block Dia's attack. Michael then pulled his sword and stabbed Dia' in the diaphragm. Dia' could no longer breathe. He stumbled backwards in pain as he saw Michael ready his final blow. Dia' quickly avoided that and hit Michael in the back with his hilt. Michael was nearing unconsciousness. Dia' lifted his sword to do a final blow in him. Michael couldn't move though. The hit in the spinal cord caused his body to numb up and become immovable for a short period of time...
Link and a few soldiers were all that were left and they were fighting the last few goblins. Link struck a goblin in the face with his sword and sliced while still in it's target causing the skull to break killing the goblin. He took out his bow and fired out all his remaining arrows. He turned his back to meat a few more goblins but he forgot about one last goblin earlier. He turned around looking for more enemies just making sure and then the arrow hit him in the chest. Link fell to the floor and he pulled out the arrow. Blood was coming out of the wound. He stopped moving and decided to let the goblin finish him off...
Michael went into a vision. He saw his mother there.
"You must do this," she said slowly and calmly.
"But how?" asked Michael.
"You will get help...." and the vision faded.
"Michael immediately got his mobility back and at the last second he avoided Dia's attack. He got up and sliced Dia's, the arm fell off. Dia' grabbed the cut spot and screamed in pain. Michael picked up Dia's sword and threw it against the wall with all his might, it was so deep that you could barely see the hilt in the wall. He stabbed Dia' in the face. He disappeared in a cloud of mist as Michael collapsed down to his knees. He walked over to the wall and took a seat leaning on it getting some rest...
The goblin came up to Link's side. The other soldiers were now gone because they thought Link had died because he was on the floor and they had not noticed the last goblin. The goblin lifted his sword and struck Link in the shoulder. He couldn't feal it though. He thought Amnir had blessed him with a painless death. Link was about to go unconscious but then he saw a figure come up and slay the goblin. It picked Link up and carried him out of the castle.

Link woke up in his room. It was storming outside again. The cold rainy air drifted into his window causing a draft. Link tried to get up but he could barely lift a finger. He decided to rest...
Link woke up. He saw Zelda standing next to him and Michael on the other side of the bed looking out the window. It had stopped raining but it was thundering in the distance.
"Link... are you okay?" asked Zelda with a worried expression.
Link sat up and put his hand on his chest looking for the arrowhole which he could no longer feal. He lifted his shirt and there was a scar there that would remain for the rest of his life just like the scars on his face.
"You are one tough kid," said Michael looking at Link.
"Well you're even tougher," said Link backfiring the compliment.
"Thanks... kid," said Michael. "You're going to be in the bed a few more days. "
"And what about you," asked Link. "Did you get hurt?"
"Oh nothing major, just a dagger to the shoulder."
Link lay his head back down remembering the long battle from before. He went to sleep.
The Devil's Last Breath by SPartan 119
Dia' was on the floor lying there near death. He was infuriated at his defeat. He would not let Michael get away with killing him. He would send his last force to kill Michael.

Michael was in his room standing on his balcony looking out to the setting sun. Link still was in his bed unable to get up. Michael defeated the devil, he was not proud just happy that it was over. He took a long deep breath at the summer's last few days. The days were getting gradually shorter as Michael looked the new comings of yet another year. For some reason though he admired the fall nights. Misty and mysterious they were as if back in the black woods back in Endfall where he and his father would hunt deer for amusement.
He walked back into his room. It was nearing Zelda's birthday again. Speaking of which he wondered what had happened to her necklace that Link gave her five years before. He went to her room to see if she would be there. The room was empty but he remembered where she would put it. He walked over to a drawer and instead of pulling it out he opened a disguised smaller drawer from the drawer itself. In it was a chain but no scorpion. Where the scorpion should have been there was only gold dust and two rubies. He decided to give this to Link so that he could make something out of it and give it to Zelda.
Link was also not in his room. He should have still been in bed but... he wasn't there. Michael walked all around the castle searching for Link...
***
Link was on the top of the golden tower once more as he watched the sunset. He heard someone come up behind him. He turned around and saw Michael carrying a small bag.
"I thought you might want this," said Michael as he handed the bag to Link.
Link opened the bag, inside he noticed nothing but gold dust and two rubies.
"What's this?" he asked as he poured the dust into his hand.
"Remember the scorpion you gave Zelda on her tenth birthday?" said Michael picking up the two rubies.
"This is the scorpion?" said Link examining the dust closer, indeed it was gold.
"Well," he said ,"why is it in it's current condition?"
"Because both the fountain and the stone were destroyed," said Michael.
"When was the stone destroyed?"
"Just today, I rid the world of it myself."
"But at which moment?"
"Allow me to explain," began Michael. "Dia' had found the stone. I dont' know how he did it without the necklace but he had done it. I found him in his shadow figure but then he raised to a taller and more human looking figure. He was dark skinned and had evil red eyes. I fought him and nearly lost... but I destroyed the stone and well... that explains it."
"I think I'll keep this until I can figure out what to do with it," said Link putting the dust back in the bag and pocketing it.
Michael went back downstairs and went back into his room...
***
Dia' was finally about to die. He knew that he would not live so he decided to end his life quicker but with one last effort to at least kill Michael. He forced all his remaining energy into a last curse and fired it at Michael. Dia's head fell to the floor. He closed his eyes and breathed his last living breath.
***
It was nearing midnight, Michael was still on the balcony and looking into the night sky. He figured that it was getting late. He put his sword on the ground and fell onto his bed as he closed his eyes and drifted into sleep. He heard a ringing noise outside. He opened his eyes and saw this black speck come in his room through the window, it went straight into Michael's mouth and disolved there. Michael thought it was nothing and went back to sleep. Then five minutes later serious pain consumed his body.
"Damn it!" he yelled as the pain was growing larger and larger. He noticed that he was no longer able to breathe and his heart was pumping slower. He fell to the floor and doubled over in pain as he stopped breathing. "Aaaahhhhh!!!" he yelled as the pain took over his entire body.
There was a muffled "ahh" that Link could hear from his room. It sounded a lot like Michael's voice. He wouldn't know what could be wrong though. But just to check he went to Michael's room and saw him crouching on the floor in pain.
"Oh damn! Michael are you okay!?" said Link worried.
"Does it look like I'm okay!?" asked Michael as his eyes were beginning to darken.
"Zelda I need your help quick!" said Link as he knelt down to Michael's side and helped him onto the bed. Zelda ran into the room and saw Michael dying on the floor. She knelt to his side and said "Lathudai Emana Yialto!" Nothing.
"Not a healing spell!" said Michael. "An anti curse!"
Zelda knew only one anti curse but it was weak, it was the only thing they had though. "Thluamir!" she yelled. Nothing. She yelled it several more times but still no avail. Michael was slowly drifting away. He had not breathed in over 3 minutes now and he closed his eyes as he died...
Michael oddly enough though woke up in his room. He looked around and everything was normal. But to make sure he wasn't dead he decided to pinch himself hard so that he would feal pain. He couldn't move which was a sure enough sign he was still alive. Link was at his side though.
"What happened?" asked Michael in slowm, weak words.
"You nearly died," said Link taking a seat.
"Explain what happened please!"
"Well," Link began, "You hadn't breathed in a long time so you closed your eyes. I felt for a pulse and luckily there was one. She had to break the curse of all things first though. She tried the same spell over and over again and it finally worked after nearly double the time you hadn't breathed. You're pulse was now slowed to fourty pulses a minute. I pumped at your heart and it worked... thank heavens!"
"So you saved my ass?" said Michael forming a smile.
"'guess so!" said Link leaving the room.
"Michael was just happy that he was still alive. He had never feared death but for some reason he felt that he would still be needed.

Dia' met Amnir in a totally pale looking backround.
"You have caused great havoc for many years!" said Amnir looking at Dia'.
"You may have caused this trouble but we will not send you to the ultimate death. We will let you live but like all misdeads your actions must be punished. You will be sent to hell. You will be the ruler of that cursed realm as long as eternity."
"I already knew I was to be there!" said Dia'. He then saw a large pit form behind him. He walked down the long staircase and the hole in the ground was covered again. Then Amnir disappeared.
Goodbyes Again by SPartan 119
Michael was in his room again thinking about the past. The battles and adventures he recently faced. It made him miss his hometown. He wanted to go back to Endfall but there was no way to do it. The closest thing that had the landscapes of endfall was Perthemia.
"Maybe I should leave again," said Michael to himself. "They probably want me here but I think I should do what I want for a change.
***
"Goodbey again," said Michael outside of Hyrule Castle's gates.
"Were gonna miss ya," said Link, "Just make sure you bring me more of that ale."
"If I can find my secret storage shack," said Michael grinning. "Sorry to leave you guys again but I guess I have to. And one thing Link. Just make sure you don't"- a bird chirped in the sky -"her".
Link's eyes went wide as Michael said that specific part.
"Why you son of a bitch!" he said.
"Hey you just insulted your own mom... our mom so I suggest you shut up!" said Michael.
Link shaked Michael's hand. He then walked off in the distance on his way back to Perthemia where they wouldn't know where he would continue anymore. ..
The End
