Chapter 3 by hyllianguard
Ionia woke up that morning weary and a little homesick. He didn’t want to march through any desert when he could be home taking care of his sick mother. As he came out of his tent to see saw Sherai putting on the last of her armor. “What do you think your doing you can’t come with us. Do you not remember what Sheak said?”
Sherai gave him a grumpy look. “I don’t care what Sheak said and I don’t care what you say, I’m going with you and no one can stop me.”
Ionia grinned. “I beg to differ.” Ionia grabbed her by the arm and restrained her all the way to a jail cell. “Let’s see you get out of that.”
“You ass! Get me out of her, now! Sherai struggled to get out of the jail
“Sherai tell me how you got so angry and violent. I don’t understand how you got this why. I remember a month ago you were giving food and rupees to the homeless.”
“If you must know it’s this damn war. I can’t stand it. All the Gerudues are is women who have been shunned by men!”
Ionia looked in sympathy “Sherai you are right about one thing. The Gerudues are just women who have been wrongly treated by men and deserve are respect. But unfortunately they steal from us and attack us witch is why this war started and why it must be finished I’m sorry but that’s the way it is.” As he said his final words the battle horns blared once more and he was off to march through the desert.
