Thunder boomed as Link walked through it's halls. He had a candle in his right hand. The only light in the castle was his candle's and the light from the lightning that was crashing down upon Hyrule. He wasn't here to make love to Zelda, like he planned, but rather, instead, he was looking for a Gerudo's spirit said to be lurking in the castle. Link breathed softly, trying to hear any sounds or irregularities in the castle. He decided he was going to the ballroom. As he approached the emerald-green door, he trembled. He noticed it was getting terribly cold. With a deep and fearful breath, he opened the door.
The ballroom was eerily silent. The colossal glass dome above Link only showed the faded crystals of water splooshing down upon it's rather clean pane, and the cresent moon seemed to light the world above him. Link noticed his breath was turning into a deep fog when he exhaled. His steps echoed as he walked cautiously through the immaculate ballroom. The only aroma in the room was the remaining luscious scent of the blew-out candles on the chandelier connected to the glass dome. Link liked that. Scented candles that still filled the room with fragrance of Zelda's bedroom even when unlit. Link jumped. A candle was floating in mid-air on the stage. "H-hello?" Link started to tremble vigorously as he said the alarmed voice he now had. All of the sudden, the invisible figure picked up one of the axes hanging on the stage's walls and threw it at Link. Link's scream traveled throughout the castle as a pool of his blood stained the ballroom's marble floors.
A New Spirit by Kholdstare
Link awoke with sweat dripping from his forehead. Yes, he was in Hyrule Castle, with his beautiful girlfriend, Zelda, but the dream seemed to haunt him. Zelda sat up, ready for anything Link could bring upon her. "Honey, what's wrong?" she asked so sweetly. Link wiped his sweat with the bed sheets. "Nothing, just a bad dream, that's all," he replied. Zelda rubbed the sleep from his eyes. It was three in the morning, but she felt dirty as hell. They had no air conditioning in the castle. Zelda got up to expose herself in a seductive night gown, and Link just couldn't keep his eyes wandering up and down her body. "Tell you what," she said as she licked her lips, "we'll have some fun after I'm done bathing."
Zelda went to the castle's baths. They had colossal crystalline windows on the sides of the cuircular room, giving it a romantic but haunting structure. Zelda slipped the night gown off, now naked and walked into the smooth water in the small pool in front of her. She dipped her entire body into the purified water, softly rubbing her hair. Then she heard a splash. One that she didn't make.
Was someone else in here? Oh, if it's one of those perverted soldiers, his balls are mine, Zelda thought to herself. But a soldier would've told her that he was here, even if he was a horny little shit. But nobody else was in here. Zelda ignored it then heard one again. She looked at the other pool beside her. Water seemed to come up by itself. "Who's there?" Zelda asked. She noticed it was freezing in there. She got out of the pool.
"I can see you, but you can't see me..."
Zelda spun around after she heard that chilling voice. She had never heard it before. It seemed to be a female's. She quickly slipped her night gown on and rushed to the open door. But it closed by itself.
"For your life, you shall plea..."
Zelda almost panicked. She looked at the pool she heard the
splashes come from. Now, a figure was there. Almost transparent. She had blond, curly hair. Her blue eyes stalked Zelda as she walked around the room, looking for an exit. There was none. The girl in the pool was naked. She looked like Zelda, almost. The figure floated out of the pool at Zelda. Her eyes now had no pupils. Her teeth turned into fangs. And she was going in for the kill.
