Prolouge~

The King of Hyrule quietly lay his head down upon the velvet pillow beneath his head. His white hair appeared as a cloud to himself, as he restlessly fell to sleep. An evil entered his chamber, slaughtering his loyal guards adjacent to his room. The demon murdered the King, and fled as it heard the call of its master, now that the deed was done. Many guards raced towards the dead king's chamber, and all solomnly stared at there great ruler, now dead. The hope of the grand kingdom began to flag as the funeral of the great king approached. The greatest King they ever had was dead before their eyes. Now their eyes fell to the princess, who took the loss hardest of all and who the people loved, more than Edward the Kings older son. The young Princess Zelda, of Hyrule. Age six. Her older brother, Prince Edward of Hyrule, age nineteen. His jealousy of his sister grew, as did his hatred for the people of Hyrule. He was to be King! He was to be their ruler. Enough foolishness, as he decided had been wasted on his young, useless sister. "All shall love me and despair!" the young prince exclaimed. No more shall the people love this worthless Princess Zelda! Guards!" The young man yelled. "Kill the princess before the sun rises in the morn, and you shall keep you heads!"


Word of Edwards evil plot found its way to the young maidens nursemaid, Impa of Karillian, the old village of Karkariko. She warned the young girl of the murderes coming her way. Without the acknowledgement of any one hylian in the castle, the princess fled near the hour of the mid night. She was never heard from again. Many years passed, and Edward believed the princess to be dead. He jovially ruled over the kingdom, but peace was never seen. He was now 26, and still, the people did not love him as they had Zelda. Hatred brewed inside his mind for the ignorant little subjects as he called them, evil thoughts filled his mind, as he began to realize the truth, as in the legen of the Hero of time, where the evil King Ganondorf had been trapped inside the sages sacred realm, he began to yearn for the power Ganondorf had not recieved. As his hatred grew, he plotted a betrayal of Hyrule and began plotting to release Ganondorf from his prison. Ganondorf escaped with Edwards help, and Hyrule's hope failed more and more with each day. Their princess was assumed to be dead and Ganoddorf had returned. This time, there was no hero to save them...
