the skullkid traveled accross hyrule field and got to lake hylia. once he set his eyes on the lake he was astonished, he had never seen a lake before. then without warning a small hole that was in the lake froze up. the skullkid looked to the sky and dark clouds were forming then he heard sinister laughter it was as though an ominous presence was around. then suddenly a big blob dropped from the sky and into the lake. it went into a doorway built into the side of a rock and then the lake started to drain. it was the monster! it was draining the lake! the skullkid started to go after it but he got distracted. he heard a scream come frome a nearby house.
he walked in and there was nothing except a really really ugly fish in a tank and then..."excuse me young sir could you please help me?" "hey, who said that?" said the skullkid. "over here in the tank." it was the ugly fish. "holy crap!!!!!!! that fish can talk. okay what do you want?" "i need you to get that vile over there and pour the yellow liquid into the tank please." skullkid did this and then he watched the tank churn and bubble until there was smoke. "hey i got a question. when you turned yourself into a fish why did it make you so damn ugly?". the smoke cleared and there stood a really really ugly old man in a blue robe and a fez. "what?" said the old man "nevermind."
"hey you must be the fish guy that rauru sent me to find. he said you could help me." "indeed i can please give me your shoes." said the extremely ugly old man. as strange as the request sounded the skullkid did as he was told and he gave the fish guy his shoes. he took the shoes and poured a red liqid on the heels and to the skullkid's supprise the shoes grew what looked like metalic wings. "using alchemy i have made your shoes capable of giving you extra speed." said the old man. "how fast am i able to go?" asked the skullkid. "oh id say around one hundred sixty five miles per hour."
at this statement the skullkid's jaw dropped almost to the ground. "now the shoes will take some getting used to but the drawback is that they will take away alot of your magic so only go its top speed when you absolutely need it." the skullkid was shocked and amazed by the brilliance of the shoes and the crazy fish guy. then out of the corner of his eye the skullkid spotted a large fruit bat. "hey thats a nice looking bat you have there." "very observent my young skullkid because you see that will be your gift for helping out an old man."
"really? thanks i could use a companion on this trip." then to the skullkid's supprise the bat started talking. "hello my name is reeki the bat and what might be yours?" "uhhhhh..... omer." "it is nice to meet you omer i will be helping you throughout your quest. what do you need me to do first my new master?" "uhhh.... i guess you could scope out the next person who needs help." "as you wish." then reeki took off out the door. "well thank you old man." and skullkid took off.
