Nightblade by Dragonwarrior
Summary: Out of the whole Legend of Zelda series, Link's past is neither known or explained at any point. His future remains blank as well. This is a story about Link's life, mainly focusing on times that we don't know what is going on. Later on, it will contain crossovers to Fire Emblem, Lufia: The Legend Returns, Soul Caliber II, as well as many others. It will also contain reference to two fanfictions already posted on this site. These are "Origins" which was written by Kasuto of Kataan, and "The Story of Linette" by Magaret Hogan. Unfortunatly, I guess I was really tired when I read it (way to go Marching Band!), I misread the name as Lisette, but it is essentially the same person. As of the moment, it is rated G, but it will have violent quotes in it later on. For those of you who just saw this, I do know how to spell the word "Legend."

Power of Alliance by Dragonwarrior
As the Hylands had but a handful of soldiers left, it appeared that Bern would have little trouble seizing the castle. This was the destination for their troops. They left the streets that were covered by Hylands, a small percentage of them soldiers. When they arrived, the only obstacle left was a young boy who stood between them and the castle. His identity was guessed only by the two assassin's blades he had in his hands, which colonel Batai usually had in his possession. As they approached, a strange light smothered his body, with rays shooting at the troops. Taking out row after row, but weakening the young fighter. After a few minutes, he collapsed. Some Bern soldiers had the nerves to approach him, though many kept their distance. As the Bern soldiers approached the castle, a drum beat sounded in the distance. As time passed, it grew louder. Soon, line upon line of troops wearing green armor occupied the market. A flag marked the troops as those of Tremania. In the background, what appeared to be a Bern Naval Reinforce mission, had failed miserably to a superior navy, no doubt constructed by the Zora, a few which were in ships, but many were not. The troops friendly with Hyrule greatly outnumbered those of Bern. The troops of the allies were also ready to fight and well rested, whereas Bern's troops were tired and battered.

The battle went rather quickly. The two armies quickly surrounded their enemy. Those that did not surrender were immediately disposed of. Once the battle ended, the Tremanian commander sent his troops on a search mission: either destroy anything hostile to Hyrule, or help those that required assistance. As the commander walked around, the young fighter by the castle caught his attention. The kid was shaken awake. After the colonel checked him for physical injuries, the two headed to the boys' house. The colonel immediately saw the problem; the sword was in the women so deep, it actually went completely through her and into the floor, where it was jammed.

Behind the castle, in the passage where the king hid, many Tremanians found it and decided to retake it. The king was soon found alive and well, and the rest of Bern's troops were scouted out and disposed of with ease. On his way out, the king suddenly stopped at a scene where a Hylean officer lay, along with two Bern soldiers. Stricken with grief, the king continued out of the passages and through the hole on the ground by his castle.

The colonel retrieved the sword out of the woman. By some miracle, she still lived, though everyone knew she wouldn't survive much longer. The front door opened slowly, and the king joined the women, child, and soldiers within the house. To the woman, the look on his face told her everything. She knew what she had to do.
