Searching For The Evil

As Link cried out in anger for his fallen friends, Farore descended towards Link. The bright light prevented Link from losing the anger that had began to swell up inside of him.
“Link. Please control your anger so you may think clearly,” Farore said trying to calm Link down, “The last thing you want at the moment is a unclear mind.”

“Farore, the evil has made me so angry I want vengeance,” Link cried angrily at Farore, “Nothing I can do to bring my friends back.”

“The power you possess alone at the moment is weak compare to this evil but I know where he was heading.” Farore told Link.

“Then let me go and defeat him!” Link shouted, but he couldn’t move due to Farore’s power holding him back, “Let me go! I want vengeance!”

“Oh dear, it seems that you have forgotten that you’re the Hero of Twilight. Chosen by me. Link control your anger!” Farore shouted snapping Link back to his senses.

Link calmed down. His anger disappearing. “Rekindle your anger when you need it. But for now listen to me. The evil is after the Mirror shield which is in five shards.” explained to Link, “Link, if you want vengeance then find the shards.”

“So where are they and how do I fix it?” Link asked.

“A person called Bazzar he will be able to fix it,” Farore replied.

“So where do I find him?” Link asked.

“I will tell you when you have all five shards,” Farore replied, “Here this is the first shard protect it well.” Farore gave Link the shard and with a bright flash departed back to the heavens. As Link followed the trail back to the woods something appeared out of nowhere.

“So you’re the Hero of Twilight?” a deep voice sounded behind Link.

“Who’s there? I warn you I have a sword and not afraid to use it!” Link shouted in a courageous voice as he turned.

“Indeed. You wouldn't be where you are now if you were afraid to use it.” the person laughed, “Look to the shadows.”

Link glanced around to see a shadowed figure stood in the shadows of the trees. A hood was covering their face.

“Who are that you?” Link asked in mystery.

“I guess I could tell you that, without killing you.” the man replied. “I am Sheik, survivor of the Sheikahs, protector of the Hyrule’s royal family, well Zelda at the least. No other royal member exists. Yet. You have already met my aunt, Impaz of the hidden village. I thank you for your help there. “Messenger of the heavens”” he laughed out.

“Why are you here? There is an evil around destroying everything.” Link said in worry.

“I have come to help you on your journey, the Goddess of Courage, Farore, told me to help you out,” Sheik replied.

“Well how am I suppose to get to the where the evil has gone,” Link asked in confusion.

“Well you know where you saved the monkeys? In the Forest Temple is where you will find the Shards and this new evil.” Sheik explained,

“Ok, I’ll go and find the mirror shield shards and can you go find out about someone called Bazaar?” Link replied as he ran off.

“Sorry Link I can’t do that.” Sheik said quietly, as he pulled out a deku nut and threw it on the ground then vanished in a flash of light. As Link got to the entrance to the forest temple, it was covered in ivy that couldn't be burnt by his lanturn nor cut away by his sword.

A sudden howl burst out of nowhere that made Link jump. Link turned around and drew his sword. A golden wolf pounded at him and took him to away from this world.

Link got up to his feet, looking for the wolf that took him here. With a howl and flash, the ghostly image of a warrior clad in armour.

“Hero of the present, the quest of defeating Ganondorf is over. But something is wrong with the world.” the Hero of the Past said.

“I found that out when I arrived home. Someone had destroyed the village,” Link said in a sloume voice. The one he used for his predecessor.

“I have more hidden skills that will help you on your journey.” the Hero of the Past explained. “I know you are worthy to receive them.”

--

“The first is a power that was given by Din.”

“Charge your emotions to your blade to set it aflame! Then swing your blade, if done right it can be deadly. Show it to me!”

The heroes swords clashed in friendship. Link tried and succeeded.

“That was a pin-point strike. You have reached your potential alone. But with friendship and love you will learn your true potential,” the Hero of the Past disappeared.

--

“I hope this works,” he said as he started his run to burn the ivy. All of a sudden a huge flame appeared and burned all the ivy to ash. “I think I struck at the right point,” Link said, “I better keep practising it.” He went into the dark hole and entered the temple.
