Ork Prison by Moon_Flower_Chikita
Author's Notes:
Note: I put it under Zelda character, but I ment for it to be Sheik. /sweatdrops/ Sorry 'bout that. Enjoy!

~Chikita~
I awoke in darkness. It had been 3 days since I left the orks prison camp and the head wound I had gotten fighting the ork gate keepers had taken it's toll. I must find water and maybe a little food so I can keep going. My one weapon, a small sword, hung at my belt still covered in dried ork blood. I had better clean that off or it would draw unwanted visitors. There were plenty of swiggle nooks around and let me tell you a hungry swiggle nook will smiffle the garfloxs right out of you. I ran out of the dessert panting. I needed food and I needed it fast. I began to black out.

'NO!' I thought to myself, 'If I pass out... then I'll never find food or water.' I racked my brain for a place where I could rest but none came to mind. Then all of a sudden it came to me... outside of Dessert Termina was a ranch I would go there!

The ranch was an outpost for thieves, murderers and other nasty beings. I would fit right in since I was on the run from ork prison. The food was bearable. Mostly fried garthox and veggies that resembled a cactus cross with a mushroom. It was called catroom. It didn't taste bad if you didn't look at it. I ate my fill and got a good long drink of pleeble juice. Not bad. Tasted like old carrot juice. The only problem was it always gave me the trotts and there wasn't anything else to drink. I knew it was going to be a long night. I found a place near the outhouse to lay down. The gas was building up in my guts and I started to fart like mad. My companions were becoming a little testy. The stench was impressive. I thought my farts smelled better than theirs did. I headed for the outhouse. I had to be careful because of the spiders. Didn't want to get bit on my butt. The bite didn't hurt but my butt would swell up like a basketball and would stay that way for a week. How embarrassing. I left early in the morning to stay ahead of the orks.

I moved fast. When I was out of the ranch, I ran over what had occured in the past five days.

Flashback

When I came out of the Weapon Shop, a guard came up to me

'What's your name kid?' he had asked me.

'Um,' I paused and looked at the guard, 'two things, one, I’m not a kid, I'm seventeen years old. Second, my name's Sheik.' I replied wondering what he wanted with me. I hadn't done any thing wrong... all I did was buy some throwing needles and a dagger. I already had a knife with me. "Something's wrong. This guard is acting very, very odd. When I told him my name he started to get excited for some reason. Maybe he's an ork, nah." I dismissed the thought. "Orks are uglier, much uglier."

'Follow me, Sheik.' he said. He turned his back on me. I followed. What else could I do? He took me to an abandoned building and ushered me inside.

Ganon Lives? by Moon_Flower_Chikita

Nothing to say. Sorry. ^.^

~Chikita~
When we entered the building, I was very glad I was wearing my mask. My mask covered my whole face. Leaving one crimson eye uncovered. My blond bangs covered some of my face. I was wearing my original Sheikah clothing; a kinda dark blue long-sleeve top, and a pair of pants of the same color. I was still wondering what was going on when the guard led me inside.

"What could I have done?" I wondered, "If it's for carrying Senbon... no. That's not possible. Zelda gave me permission ta' have em'..." I trailed off.

'Sit down.' the guard snarled, snapping me out of my thoughts.

I looked at the guard hard. I also looked at the two in front of me. Something about them was weird. I looked harder. The spears they were carrying looked different from other guards’ spears. These were made of wood and had something like a red feather at the top. I gasped in realization. These weren't Zelda's guards... they were Gerudo guards! I made to rise but the other guard held me down.

'Let me go!' I yelled, now panicking. "What were Gerudo guards doing here?"

I struggled and tried to pull out the Senbon attached to my wrist. The Gerudo acted fast. They rushed over and one hit me while the other one stabbed me in the shoulder. I screamed in pain. The other guard, which was actually and Ork, pulled out a cloth and put it to my mouth. Chloroform. I struggled harder than ever, not caring that I was slowly loosing conscious. I blacked out.

I came to hearing screams, and a throbbing pain in my left shoulder. Gerudo had a habit of butchering some of the prisoners when the jails become too full. The Orks had a field day with this. It was the highlight of their lives. A favorite food of the Orks was man-flesh. Since I was new to the prison I knew I was not going to be eaten. The sounds of the dying, the ripping of flesh and the drunken laughter of the Orks was just the diversion I needed. I knew all the Orks would be there to get their share of flesh and ale. I looked around and in the darkness how the cell was made. The doors had hinges that were on pins. If I could pry the door from the bottom I could slip it off the pins and slide the latch over the retaining bar that was the lock. I looked around and found a large thighbone of an Ork that must have fallen out of favor and imprisoned. Good thing too. Ork thighbone was at least three times as thick as a humans were. I pried and pried. Gradually the door slid up and off the hinges and lock pin. With a crash I was safe. I ran down the stairs completely ignored by the crazed feeding Orks. I ran to the window, leapt out into the putrid moat surrounding the prison and swam to the other side. I WAS FREE! I slinked off into the darkness of the woods. Little did I know, a Gerudo and an Ork had followed me. I was stealthy... but I could still be caught. I heard a twig snap. I

turned.

'He-hello?' I called, uncertain of the answer, 'Hello? Is anyone or anything out there?' I was cautious. I had a right to be.

Just then the Gerudo and an Ork came out from behind two of the trees. I jumped and flicked my wrist. Nothing happened.

The Gerudo women laughed, 'AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAA! Did you really think that we'd let you keep your Senbon? Not a chance! The Great Ganondorf gave us specific orders to take them away from you!' the guard, realizing her mistake, covered her mouth.

I stared in shock. There had to be some mistake. Ganondorf was dead. Wasn't he?

'Sadly... now that you know... we have ta' kill ya'.' she put her spear in a defensive position. The Ok did the same with his sword.

I pulled my blade, Kyake, out from my belt. I was a pretty good sword fighter. But I was better with Senbon and they knew it. And so the fight began!

The Ork charged forward. I was ready. I evaded his swipe and stepped on his foot. I then stabbed him in the butt. He started to dance, clutching his wounded rear. It was actually kinda funny! I looked at the Gerudo and she looked at me... we both burst into laughter!

'Sssstop llllaughing attt meee.' the Ork said, still clutching his butt, 'Koroko, git him.'

I stopped laughing. Koroko came at me. She was a much better fighter that I had anticipated. I took around two blows. But luckily for me... they were very shallow.

The Ork just slinked off. To where I had no idea.

"I need energy.” I thought, “Maybe some sugar? Nah! Not now anyway!” I parried a swipe from the Gerudo and slashed out at her. I wasn’t the best swordfighter, but Kyake always served me well. I charged and she charged. I ran Kyake through her stomach. With her last ounce of strength, she kicked me, hard. I slammed into the rocky wall. I hit my head on impact. Koroko keeled over, coughing up blood. She died soon after. I picked myself up holding my head. It was bleeding very badly. Red and black invaded my vision. Putting Kyake back in my belt, I staggered off.

‘If that creepy Ork comes here… then… I’m in some serious c-crap….’ I whispered. I was halfway out of the prison camp wondering what the Gerudo had said. “ ‘Ganondorf gave us specific orders...’ what did THAT mean?” I was struggling to stay awake. ‘Okay,’ I gasped, ‘if there are any Swiggle Nooks around, then I’m dead meat… speaking of meat I’m starving.’

Woozy from blood loss and needing sleep, I dropped to my knees and collapsed. My breath was shallow…

Danger At Night by Moon_Flower_Chikita
Author's Notes:
Ok, I'm not afraid to say this. I hate this chapter. I was in a very bad mood when I did this one. V.V I really don't think that this chapter is very good either.

~Chikita~
A wolf howl snapped me out of my thoughts.

"Ugh!" I groaned, "That's just great! While I was standing here lost in my own stupid daydreams..." I looked around, "I really need to stop talking to myself."

I looked around for a place to stay for the night. I could go to Kokiri Forest. I quickly discarded the thought. 'Heh. Link thinks that I don't exist.'

I heard a whirring. I spun around and my crimson eyes widened. A Peahat. I ran as fast as I could, while unsheathing Kyake. I hoped I wouldn't need it. Soon the whirring died down. I sighed and stopped running. I was putting Kyake away when I heard a movement.

"Wh-what the-?" Just then I felt it... the ground shook. I looked around wildely. the earh beneath me began to shift. I readied Kyake in my right hand. I was born right handed but soon learned to use both hands. My right hand was just faster. A Skullkid came up and I breathed a sigh of relief. "Well..." I said, putting my blade down, "this'll be no con-- AHHH!" I yelled. Six more Skullkids came up and the first one moved towards me. I raised Kyake and expertly hit it.

It's head fell off but it still came at me. I gulped and raised Kyake. Before I could strike however, I felt claws on my shoulder. I gritted my teeth as the red hot pain surged through my body. I kicked back and thrust Kyake forward. The Skullkid in front of me fell back and disappeared. Blood was now running down my left arm and shoulder. Dizziness started to take hold of me. Black began to cloud my vision but I shook my head violently. Just then the six remaining creatures went back underground. I sighed and sheathed Kyake and put my right hand over the wound in my shoulder. I looked down and gasped. Two bony arms were wrapped around my waist. I looked forward and saw another Skullkid... but this one was different... This one was about two or three times bigger then the ones I just fought.

"No." I breathed then gasped in pain as the arms around my waist tightened their grip on me, "Unh. Let... me... GO!" Next thing I heard was a sickoning CRACK! I screamed as my ribs were broken. I forced myself to look up and saw that the other Giant Skullkid was right in front of me. It reached down and slashed me on my stomach. I screamed again as blood ran down my front.

I heard someone yell. I looked up, fully aware that I would lose consciousness very quickly. I saw a blue blur and heard the sound of a sword hitting bone. The Giant Skullkid who slashed me in the stomach was dead. At that second, I fell limp in the second Skullkid's arms, blood still pouring out of both of my wounds.

Link's POV

I heard the screams. I ran out of the forest and saw... well I couldn't quite make out exactly who it was but I knew that they needed my help. When I reached the creatures, I noticed all the blood.

'Make connections later you idiot!' I thought to myself. I ran forward and cut the Skullkid twice. It vanished. I quickly killed the second one and looked at whom I had just saved.

My cerulian eyes widened, "No," I whispered, "What is she doing here?"

Well, now that Sheik is past that. ^.^ Sorry about the last chapter people. This one is better. ^.^ Enjoy!

~Chikita~
I opened my eyes and groaned. My ribs were killing me. My shoulder stung. It wasn’t as bad as my ribs but… Carefully, I put my right hand to my waist. Kyake was gone. I tried to sit up. I was panicking so I forgot my ribs were broken. I let out a pained yell and lay back. Tenderly, I placed a hand over my torso. My eyes drifted shut, but snapped back open when I heard a rustle.

Looking to my right, I saw Link! He was sitting on a chair and was wearing his blue Zora Tunic. Link was looking at me with curiosity and hostility.

“What in the world were you doing out there? I know you’re a better fighter than THAT!”

“What?” I asked weakly. I was totally confused. What was Link talking about? He had never seen me fight. “W-what are you talking about?”

“Oh come on! I’m not an idiot! Stop the charade, Princess Zelda!”

“Wh-what? What are you—ungh.” I winced as I moved too fast. I looked at Link. ‘Is that a smirk?’ I blinked, ‘What in the world is going on?’

Link couldn’t believe what he was hearing. ‘I’d be glad if the Swiggle Nooks HAD gotten her. Maybe I should remind her… Yeah!’ “Okay, since you seem to have short term memory loss… I’m gonna clue you in. Stop me if you start ta’ remember anythin’, milady!”

I tried to protest but Link just talked over me.

Just then, Rekhyt came in and stopped Link.

“What? I was interrogating the princess!”

“Nu-uh,” he retorted, “You were questioning a Sheikah.”

“What?” Link looked absolutely stunned, “No I’m not. Don’t you remember?”

I looked from Rekhyt to Link and back again.

‘Please, Rekhyt. Please convince him. Seeing as I cannot…’

In truth, this discussion wasn’t really that interesting to me. All of a sudden I was snapped out of my thoughts as the name battle began!

“Blonde boy.”

“Fluff-ball.”

“He’s a Sheikah!”

“SHE’S a princess!”

“Gah! Blonde idiot!”

“Paranoid delusional fluff-ball!”

“Blonde buffoon!”

This is right about where I lost my patience.

“Will you both just shut up?!” I yelled.

Link looked at me, mouth agape. Rekhyt looked as well.

“I’ll tell you what really happened. Okay?”

“I know what-“

Rekhyt bonked Link on the head.

“Yes well,” I started the looong story, “The first time I saw you was in the Temple of Time. I also saw you at all of the other temples. After I gave you the Requiem of Spirit, I went back to the Temple of Time…” here I hesitated, “I don’t really know what happened… The last thing I saw was Zelda.”

I ended my story.

“What then?”

I shrugged. “When I woke up, I was in the Temple of Time, and the world had been restored.” ‘I’ll have to tell him sooner or later.’ I said to myself.

“Ooooookay,” Link started, “If you aren’t Zelda, how-“

“How do I know her?” I chuckled softly, “I was her spy and bodyguard.”

“Spy?”

“Ayup.”

“But… when I found you there were Skullkids.”

I sighed. The time had come for me to tell. “He-he’s back. Ganon. When the Gerudos imprisoned me… they were talking about him. Then, when I escaped and fought one of them… she said he was back.”

I was done. My story was out.

“Um. Well. I. Uhh.” Link was stuck on what to say. “I’m sorry I thought you were her.” He apologized and rubbed the back of his head.

“Heh. It’s okay.”

Just then I felt as if all the energy had drained from my body. I slumped back in the bed and fell into a dreamless sleep.

(Yuko: Okay! A lot of people know I usually end my chapters at places like this! But because it’s been so long since the last update… here’s an exception! Now, when we start the story again Sheik is fully healed and one month has gone by. Also in case you are wondering: THIS IS NOT YAOI!! This is friendship! Back to the story!)

I awoke to frantic yelling outside. I sat up, got up, and got on my Sheikah clothing. I walked out of Link’s house. What I saw made me laugh.

Link was trying to catch his red fairy with his hat and failing miserably. I guess Link heard me laugh, because he then turned his attenteion to me.

"You ready?" he called.

"Eya! Ready when you are!" I replied back.

We were going to look for Ganon. We decided this about two weeks ago. We were going to go to Lon Lon Ranch so I could get a horse. I jumped down and strapped Kyako to my waist.

With Rekhyt looking at a female green fairy, Link swung his hat out and caught his red fairy. I laughed again and started to head to the exit. Link soon followed. We left the forest and made our way to the ranch.

---------------------------------------------

"So, is this the spot?" asked Link.

"Yes."

We were walking past the spot where I was attacked. I sighed quietly and tried again to forget that night.

"Well, let's hope we get to the ranch before nightfall, eh?"

"Yea."

"LINK!" A voice cried.

Link jumped about ten feet in the air. I tried to hold in my laughter but it didn't go so well. Rekhyt was laughing as well. When Link got down, he glared at me and his red fairy.

Just then the light faded and a wolf howled in the distance. The smile dissapeared from my face. I unsheathed Kyake without thinking and Link did the same with the Master Sword.

"They aren't coming." Link smartly observed.

"No. I have an idea. Just follow my lead."

Link and I both resheathed our swords and... RAN! We sprinted to the ranch but we hadn't taken five steps when I saw lumps of earth start to form. I ignored them and just ran. The Skullkids kept trying to stop us. I ran silently. Link, on the other hand was screaming: Bloody murder! repeatedly.

I had reached the ranch and was waiting for Link who was still out there screaming bloody murder, and swinging the Master Sword around like a maniac.

"Link! Come ON!" I cried.

Link looked at me and nodded. He came up running. I literally dragged him into the ranch.

~Chikita~
We got into the ranch and Link smiled.

"So what do we do now?" I asked.

"Heheheheheh! Just follow me! Do what I do!"

Link threw his head back and walked forward. I shook my head, smiling and followed Link. So Link walked further into the ranch walking like a dork. I, however, did no such thing. We moved to the center of the ranch and saw a teenage girl in the center of the coral.

"Hey, Malon!" Link yelled to the girl.

Malon looked up and smiled.

"What?" she asked, looking up from tending to a black horse.

"I need to borrow a horse."

"Why? You have your ownnnn... WHAT DID YOU DO WITH EPONA?!" she screamed.

Link screamed and started to run around the ranch, screaming his head off.

During all the confusion, the black horse came up to me and started to push me into the fence.

"Uh, please go... awaaaaaaaaaay!" I yelled.

The horse stopped running into me and stopped right in front of me.

"I think he likes you. His name is Shadow."

"Where's Link?" I asked the farm girl.

"Oh," Malon giggled, "he's having fun with the tree!"

I looked to the tree in the corner. There was Link. Tied to the tree.

"Malon, Epona's fine."

"Really? Okay then!"

She trotted over to the tied Hylian and undid the ropes that bound him.

"Sheesh...Thank you very much, Sheik."

"Eh, no problem." Then a thought struck me, "Where's Rekhyt?" I asked the blonde teen.

The Hylian grinned and replied with, "I shut him in a cookie container!"

My mouth dropped open and I started to laugh.

"Why...did...y-you...shut him...in...a container?" I got out between laughs.

"He was getting annoying so I finally decided to do something about it."

"That's mean."

Malon threw Link a disapproving look.

"So can we use a horse?" asked Link.

"Sure. Tiiiiiiiime foooooooooor Horse Matching!"

Link and I looked at each other.

'This girl is weird.' I thought.

The next thing I knew, Malon had latched onto my arm. She drug me over to a line of horses. The black one, Shadow, trotted to the end of the line.

"Pick on and take a test ride."

"W-What? Uhhh...okay." I looked at Link who was smirking, "Ahh shut it Link!"

I tried the first one. I got on and we made the first jump. The next jump didn't go over so well. Right before the jump, the horse stopped. Stopped.

"Ahh! You damn horse! I'm gonna beat the living hell outta you!"

I looked at my friends. Link and Malon were looking at me like I was an alien.

"Eh?" Then what I said came back, "Oh, sorry..."

"O-Okay... well just--just try another."

I laughed weakly and got off the horse.

'I really, really, REALLY don't want to try all of them.' "Hey, can I try Shadow?"

"S-Sure..."

"Oh, come on! It wasn't that bad. Was it?"

Link and Malon nodded.

"Sorry, won't do it again."

As if he knew what I wanted, Shadow came up to me. I pulled myself on him. He trotted over and jumped the fences. Shadow, when he was done, trotted over to the exit to the coral.

"Wow," Malon exclaimed, "that was fast!"

"C'mon, Link!" I yelled.

"Yea, yea, okay."

Link got out his ocarina and played Epona's Song. Epona came running up to Link. We thanked Malon and raced off.

We raced through Hyrule Field. Link was on Epona and me on Shadow.

"Where are we going?" I yelled to Link.

"Um. I don't know! Funny right?"

I blanched. 'Ohhh great...' "LINK!! I have an idea," Link threw me a look aand slowed Epona down, "We should go to the places where the temples used to be. Y'know, for some information."

"Oookay. Sooo where to?"

"Uhhh. Well, we're closer to Death Mountain. We'll go there."

"Right."

We rode out horses to Ka Ka Village and I pulled on Shadow's reigns and he stopped at the bottem of the stairs. Link, however, kept trying to keep going. Epona got on her back legs and succesfully threw Link off.

I laughed and got off Shadow. Link got off his butt and shot me a glare.

"Sorry. But I thought you knew Epona didn't like stairs."

"Eya. Whatever."

Link got back on his feet and we ran up the stairs and into Ka Ka Village.

Nothing in the village looked changed. Like it had been before Ganon had come the first time. The sky was clear and it had some clouds in the blue sky.

"You sure that Gerudo wasn't kidding you?"

"Uhh, do you think I'm deaf?"

Link opened his mouth and I shot him a death glare. He shut his mouth.

"That's what I thought."

Link looked like he was thinking about something. But before he could say anything, I stepped in.

"If you have anything you need to get or do you should do it. We won't be back for awhile."

Link nodded. Then he handed me a bottle. It was empty. He motioned for me to follow. I did. We walked forward and to the left and up some stairs. Then up another flight. Link then led me into a Potion Shop.

"Welcome! How may I help you?"

This time before I could talk, Link said, "Hai. We need two of the fairies. Please."

"Going on another adventure? Eh?"

"Heh. Something in that catigory!"

"S'cuse me but do you know if there's a weapon shope here?" I asked the keeper.

"Sorry sir. But the only shop that carries weapons is in the Hyrule Market."

I nodded my thanks and looked around for Link. He wasn't in the shop.

'Agh. That blonde doofus! When I get my hands on him...!"

I left the shop and was met with a grinning Link.

"Soooo ya ready yet?" he asked.

I sighed and decided to have my revenge later. "Yea I guess."

He nodded and we both headed to the gate leading to Death Mountain Trail.

Hehe, I like the chapter title of this one. ^.^

~Chikita~
We walked up the trail. In Link's past, there had been some Tektites. None were here now though. I noticed that Link had the Master Sword drawn anyway.

"Why," I started, "do you have your sword out? Do you think I'm gonna turn 'demonic' on you?"

"Maaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyybe!"

"You dolt!"

Just then we heard a rumbling. We looked up ahead. A boulder was rolling towards us. I looked around wildly. I saw an aclove and dove into it just in time.

"That was close wasn't it Link?" I asked. Not hearing an answer, Iooked back out. There lay Link on his back. "Feh. He CAN'T be dead. If he is though... Oh hell..."

I walked out of the aclove and over to Link. I shook him lightly. Just then he sprang up.

"You are soooooooooo dead!"

"N-now hang on L-Link! Can't we talk about this?"

I backed up alowly, my mind racing. 'I have to get to Goron City... NOW!' I yelled to myself.

Link growled and charged. I screamed and took off to Goron City. I could hear Link behind me. Luck was on my side, however. I was faster than Link. I kept up my speed and when I saw the entrance to the city, I sighed mentally. I kept running and an idea came to me. I entered the city and quickly plucked a Bomb Flower. I set it down and took a few steps back. Link came into view and...

BOOM!!!

The bomb went off and it sent Link sprawling. He got up. I was out of ideas. Just then, he began to laugh. I stared.

"HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!! You ACTUALLY fell for that? No way!"

Then what he said hit home. It was a trick. I growled in rage.

"I'M GONNA KILL YOU! You were joking?!"

For some reason I couldn't stay angry for long. I grinned and closed my eyes. I reopened my eyes and reminded Link why we were here.

"We're here to talk to Darunia."

"Oh yea! Let's go!"

I sighed, "That's what I've been trying to tell you." I muttered.

I followed Link down the stairs and to the main room. A rug was in front of an open door. I shoved Link inside.

"Who goes there?" a voice sounded.

"Your mother." I replied dully.

"Really?"

"No you thick headed Goron! It's me, Sheik. Link is here as well. We need to discuss something with you."

"Yea!" Link called.

"Just go in you idiot!"

I shoved Link forward again and into the room. We saw Darunia in front of a statue.

"What do you want?" Darunia asked.

"We needed to ask you if you've noticed anything strange lately."

"Strange how?"

"You need to get out more!" Link said.

I jabbed him in the ribs and told him to shut up.

"Can we take a look at the Fire Temple?" I asked the Goron King.

"Sure but why?"

"I-"

"Sheik heard somewhere that Ganon had returned."

"Shaddup. Anyway, can we please go? Just to take a look around."

Darunia stepped aside and Link ran to the statue and shoved it over. Link and I gave Darunia our thanks and we moved into the Death Mountain Crater.

"Uhh Link are you okay?" I asked Link.

"Do I bloody LOOK okay?" he yelled back.

"Well I think that you'd look better if you put on your Goron Tunic. After all, the Zora's Tunic helps you breath underwater."

"Yea, yea. Okay. Stop nagging me."

I shrugged and Link changed from his Zora Tunic to his Goron Tunic.

"Hey. Don't you need a Goron Tunic?"

"Uhh. No. My Sheikah clothing is fire resiliant. It can't let me breath underwater. So let's go."

Link nodded and we reached the broken bridge, Link pulled out his Longshot. I saved some time and disappeared only to reappear on the other side.

"Hey, no fair!"

"Well Link... Life's just not fair."

Link pouted for a minute and we went into the Fire Temple.

"So..." Link started, looked down the hole, "who wants to go first?"

"You can."

With that, before Link could object, I pushed him down.

"So how is it down there?" I yelled down to Link.

"Just peachy..." Came the muffled reply.

I chuckled and stepped onto the ladder. I carefully climbed down and when I could see the bottom, I jumped down. Link was sitting on his butt and glaring daggers at me. I chuckled softly again and just looked at him.

"Thanks." he said sarcasm lacing his voice.

"No problem. So you think that there are any enemies here?" I asked the red-clad Hylian.

"Just some Keese."

"How do you know? Been through the whole temple already? Look out!"

One of the Fire Keese swooped down and I drew Kyake. Just before the Keese could hit, I sliced it in half. The other Keese came down and Link hit it with the Master Sword. I helped Link up and I walked across the hall and up the stairs. Link followed. We looked both sides and saw nothing. Link left me and went to open the left door. He hadn't taken five steps when something white fell from the ceiling.

"Link! Look out! It's a Like-Like! Or a Shield Eater or whatever you wanna call it! One's right--" I felt a sharp pain on the back of my head.

Link turned and saw Sheik sink to the floor. Behind Sheik was a Lizafols. Link just then noticed the Like-Like. It was kind of white and squishy. Link slashed away with his sword. When it died, Link rushed over to help his fallen companion. He faced the Lizafols. It screeched and jumped into the air. Link brought up he shield and blocked the strike. Link struck back and didn't let up till his foe was dead. He ran over to his fallen companion and shook him.

(Yuko: Ok. Back to Sheik's P.O.V.)

Ugh. I could hear a voice. (Yuko: No offense.) God, was it annoying. I could hear myself groan and decided to humor the person who was trying to wake me. I opened my eyes and was face to face with Link.

"Took you long enough to notice we were under attack." I said, sitting up. I rubbed the back of my head. I could feel a small lump forming but I knew it wasn't bad. I sighed. Link looked at me.

"Are you okay?" he asked. I looked at him.

"Of course. Does it look like I'm writhing in pain and agony right now?" I asked, cocking an eyebrow and smirking at the Hylian.

"Just making sure."

"I'm not a weakling you know..." I said back. I stood up and said to Link, "Well it looks like I was right. Ganon has indeed returned. Why else would the monsters be here?" Link shrugged and I started back to the ladder. Link followed.

--------------------------------

"So, what was in the Fire Temple?" Darunia asked.
Link and I looked at each other and Link said, "Well..." he hesitated. "Ganon is back. You'd best be on your guard from now on." Darunia looked shocked for a moment but concealed it and nodded.

"Come on Link!" I yelled. I was already out of the throne room.

"Hey, wait for me!" Link shouted as he ran to catch up with me.
End Notes:
I'm soo sorry that was so short. :( But I'll try and have the next one up soon. ^.^
