Chapter 2 by Slacker
---
When he finally came to terms with the fact that he was indeed in Hyrule A.K. freaked out.
“Okay, well, Virginia is totally not dating material if she gives me a book that transports me into my own, bizarre dreams!” He thought for a second (a rarity in his life) that maybe this was his dream world. If so, he was in control. Wishing that things would just go back to normal he realized that this was not a regular dream (if one at all). A.K. relaxed just a little bit, “Okay, well first things first… Why are all these kids here?” it was then that his question was answered, a little girl with beautiful, neck length, green hair and glowing green eyes came running towards A.K., “Hello?” he asked curiously.
The girl simply giggled (this seemed to be the normal reaction of the opposite sex when A.K. spoke). This made him a bit frustrated and he turned to walk away, but the girl had her hand on his back. Out of sheer etiquette, A.K. turned around and soon he heard the girl speak. It sounded intelligent and optimistic, but it still retained a child-like innocence.
“Greetings, I’d like to welcome you to the Kokori forest! It’s not often that we get a visit from an outsider.” She paused obviously not sure about what to say next, “Stay out of the Lost Woods unless you want to become a Stalfos!” She was about to leave when all of a sudden A.K. found himself on the other side of the spectrum;
“Hey! Relax!” he yelled and the girl turned around, “Look, my names A.K. and I was just wondering… well, what is your name? And uhh… where am I?” he asked these questions slowly, though he didn’t want to seem dense.
“My name is Saria and that seems like a ridiculous question, I have already stated that you are in the Kokiri forest,” she said, looking a bit confused.
A.K. tried his best not to groan, “Can I please speak to the person that’s in charge?" he asked and Saria smiled at him once again,
“Don’t see how much use that would be, but fine, I’ll lead you to Mido.” she smirked and grabbed A.K.’s hand. Soon, they where in the small village of the Kokiri. A.K. was a bit perplexed by the fact that there was no adults but he shrugged it off; he was about to meet the leader.
“Are you fucking kidding me?” he asked blandly when he saw Mido.
“Hello, Outsider! My name's Mido! I'm the Big Boss of the Kokori!” A.K. wasn't listening, though
(a habit he would have to break in his later years).
“Okay Pee-Wee, shut the fuck up! I want the real leader and I mean one that is over 4,2 and has pubic hair, got it!” A.K. shouted angrily, but Mido only looked at him curiously,
“You are definitely weird! Weirder than Link! But I guess that’s just natural for outsiders...” He trailed off at the after thought. A.K. was ready to kill this kid, when all of a sudden he heard the same voice; the heavenly voice that belonged to Saria.
“Mido, it is rare that we have a visit from a outsider! Let him stay with me! I’ll provide housing and food. He will not be a bother and in 10 days, Link will come and we will have him take the outsider out of here,” Saria said trying to be the voice of reason and A.K. was in shock when Mido agreed. It wasn’t until he was walking outside towards Saria’s house that he realized what had just happened: he was going to be staying with some ten year old girl in a land where fucking ten year olds ruled and ironically he would be staying for 10 days! It was then that he made a mental note: he despised the number ten.
