Transformation begins... by Incognito
Ganon almost had the urge to skip happily home but resisted. He couldn't believe he was going on a date with one of the most beautiful girls in hyrule. For a moment he'd thought she was going to say no and he knew he'd be mad. Lately he'd been unable to keep his emotions in check. It was a struggle nowadays to keep cool, even for the smallest things. As much as he turned it about in his head he couldn't figure it out why, he could only try and stay calm and collected. But he wasn't sure how long he was going to be able to keep it under wraps.
His dreams were becoming dark and violent as was his personality. They were filled with faraway lands and fantasy creatures that changed suddenly into dark and powerful beings that knew no boundaries between good and evil. He'd wake up in a rage and tear apart his room as if looking for something hidden.
This dramatic change came right after he found a golden triangle at the bottom of one of the lakes. He hides it from everyone, it makes him feel very powerful for some reason, and he doesn't ever want to lose that feeling no matter what.
He arrived at his house and stared at how dark it looked.
"Hope i'm not in trouble."
He walked into his house and was surprised to find his mother waiting up for him.
"Do you see how late it is?" She stood up and walked toward him.
He just stared at her blankly.
"What is wrong with you?" She grabbed him by his shirt and shook him as if in a panic.
"Get off of me." He said as he pushed her hands away.
She looked shocked for a second then grabbed him again and started the shaking again.
He seemed to growl a bit under his breathe as he struck her down as hard as he could.
She lay on the floor screaming as she held her face.
His father came rushing down the stairs.
"What's going on here?" He took one look at his wife and knew what might have occurred. "You get to your room and stay there!"
Ganon smirked and slowly made his way to his room.
When he shut the door, what happened downstairs just hit him.
"What did I just do?" He leaned against the door unsure of how to react to it. For some reason it didn't bother him too much, he kind of enjoyed it.
"What is wrong with me?"
He punched his wall in until his knuckles were raw and bloody. Then he sat on his bed and held the gold triangle and stared at himself in the mirror, noticing how his looks were suddenly diminishing and changing. To what he didn't know.
He lay down and was met immediately with one of his dreams.
He was in a dark castle and was slowly approaching the room that always seemed to call to him. He could hear rain and thunder coming from the open window leading to the balcony in the room. He entered but could see nothing but pitch black and the occasional strike of lightining that lit the room up momentarily. He stood still when a huge dark shadow came from behind and stood on the balcony, only the outlines of his body could be seen.
"Hello?"
"Power..." It whispered.
"What?" Ganon approached the figure.
"POWER!" Thats when lightning lit up the sky and a scream escaped Ganon's lips as he stared at this green menacing creature that had a strange resemblance to him.
He stirred but did not wake as he breathed out "Power..."
