It’s Time

It’s time to say
Good-bye my friend
But please don’t let
This be the end
You’ve gone to fight
That may be true
But don’t forget me
I won’t forget you
We used to play
When we were young
But now we’re older
No time for fun
Now you’ve found me
But we can’t talk long
The moon is rising
And the sun is gone
Your journey’s not over
I’m sorry to say
But I will wait
Till your back someday
It’s time to say
Good-bye my friend
But please don’t let
