You raise your sword to guard our royal keep
To live a normal life, you sacrifice
You strike with bravery, aim precise
I ask you and you go with no complaint
On a journey that will make you a saint
Emerald and ruby and sapphire true
Will guide you on your quest all the way through
Then you return with the enemy slain
You tunic is reddied, bloodied, and stained
