Shadow and Light by Red Sparrow
Link and Zelda: To Kill An Angel
[Link/Zelda duet]

By Red Sparrow
Inspired by: Machinae Supremacy [Flagcarrier]

Author's note: Refer to my other poem, "Marin's Song: Lead Me to the End", if you don't know for sure how you should read this. This is a duet poem. Two people are supposed to read/sing this. Their lines are indicated by the brackets "[ ]".

Yes, this is a theme song for my story Shadow and Light 2...I know, maybe I'm getting carried away by this poem writing biz, lol. This might be my last one, cause I think you people are tired of these poems anyway.

Enjoy!

Caught up between the fight of Shadow and Light,
I chose the route of Shadow,
now hear my plight.

My life written in stone
tells of sins I've instilled.
My reason was to never be alone,
to never be killed.

I've never felt this way before
and I'm loving this feeling all the more.
The feeling of power,
oh, it's so thrilling!
I will no longer be a pawn,
nevermore a toy of light.
I've found my rightful place,
its within this shadowy night.

[ZELDA]
It's within this place,
that I shall awake,
I hope to feel...
your embrace...

[LINK/ZELDA]
This bloodied rain,
stains my blade.
Memories of crimson,
memories of pain.

And all of the light in the world this day,
Won't light up my heart,
which has long been decayed.
